A Day In the Life of the Fizzy

What An Adventure!!

That's what Daddy kept saying last night, pups. "What an adventure!" Cause guess where I ended up? At the emergency vet!

Momma said when she came home from work yesterday, I was totally fine. I peepsed and poohed like normal. I played with Daddy like normal. I ate like normal. Then, around 5:30 in the PM, I started acting weird. I kept crying to go outside. I peepsed little dribbles of pee everywhere. Daddy says it looked like I was marking the yard. Momma looked all over the place to see if there was a dead animal somewhere. She even knocked on my best good friend's door, Sarah, cause Sarah is over 85 years old in human years, and Momma got a little freaked out cause I was just acting WEIRD. (Sarah is fine, pups, don't worry. She probably thinks Momma is even more crazy than normal, but that's ok!)

So around 7 in the PM, Momma said "That's it. We're taking Fizzy to the vet." Well, Daddy called the vet, and they said it was too late in the day for me to go to them, so I had to go to the emergency vet. The same place I went to last summer where they shaved me to look like an angry poodle!!!

We all got in the car. Momma was worried I might pee in the backseat, but I'm a good boy. I would NEVER peeps in Daddy's new car! We got to the vet and I was acting totally normal. Momma was questioning her sanity.

They took me back in a little room, and I met the vet tech, who REALLY liked me! She was my new best good friend! She petted me, and I kissed her. She put a cold round thing on my heart, and I kissed her. She tried to stick something up my pooper, and I bit Daddy. Momma and Daddy were SHOCKED. I've never ever EVER bit ANYONE, let alone my Daddy!! But I don't like people sticking things in my pooper!!!!!! The vet tech is no longer my best good friend.

Then the dogtor looked at me. She was nice, too, until she stuck her finger in my pooper!!!! STOP STICKING THINGS IN MY POOPER!!!!!! I didn't bite anyone this time, though. She was feeling for rocks in my your-re-thra. I keep telling everyone that there's no rocks in there anymore, but no one wants to listen to me!

Then the vet made me peeps in a cup, and she took pictures of my belly to REALLY look for rocks. The good news is NO ROCKS. Duh. I just TOLD you that. The bad news is I have something called a You-Tee-Eye. I have to take some medicines for 2 weeks so I'll stop peepsing so much. They also gave me pills to help me stop trying to push out the peeps. They make me feel funny and they make me sleep a bunch, which Momma says is good.

I was SUPPOSED to go to Grammy's house today so she could watch me, but Momma woke up in the middle of the night with an allergy attack. She said it was probably from all the kitties that were in the waiting room. When she woke up this morning her eyeballs were all sticky and she couldn't see so good. And her head hurt real bad. So she decided to stay home with me today! HOORAY!

And one more good thing came out of all of this....wait for it...wait for it....CHICKEN! I get to take my pills with CHICKEN!! WOO HOO!

Thanks for all the rosettes, pals. It's nice to know you're all worried about me, but I'm just fine! Sleepy and loopy from the medicines, but just fine!! I love my pals!!

Why those humans are so interested in sticking stuff up our private areas is beyond me. I'm glad you're feeling better and the next time you need an adventure go to McDonalds and not the vet.
