Here's what we know so far, pals.
The vet hasn't ruled out cancer, simply because they just don't know what's happening to Winnie! The x-rays didn't show anything unusual. Her liver enzymes are fine (Momma was scared she ate some bad food.) One of her pancreas enzymes was high, but the other was normal. So the vet is leaning towards pancreatitis, but she can't say for sure. So she gave Winnie an antibiotic (injection cause every time she eats she barfs) and some fluids through an IV. If she gets worse or doesn't improve by tomorrow, Auntie has to take her to that special vet I went to last summer when I was super sick. That vet is a specialty vet, so they'll be able to figure out what's wrong if it's not pancreatitis.
The vet thinks pancreatitis because Winnie is about 10 pounds overweight (Don't worry...Auntie KNOWS this is bad, and Momma already read her the riot act about it) and her food contains lamb, which has a higher fat content than other proteins. Momma suggested to Auntie on Friday to fast Winnie for 24 hours, then feed her chicken and rice for a few days. Auntie did this, and Winnie was her old self again! As soon as Auntie gave her regular food (Monday), she got sick again. So this is why everyone is thinking pancreatitis.
She's not out of the woods yet, but Momma is relieved that the c-word is not likely. That's not to say that pancreatitis isn't BAD, cause it IS, but the c-word is just a naughty naughty word.
So now we wait. I'll keep you pups updated.

Sounds like Winnie just needs to watch what she eats. I'm so glad it isn't the naughty C!
Keeping our paws crossed for Winnie and sending POTP!
