I went swimming today!

Although my favourite thing is my wading pool, you couldn't really call me a water dog. If my belly got wet in the ocean or river, I was outta there! This past week my person has been tossing sticks in the river. It was fun & she never threw them too far. If she did, I would try to stretch as far as I could & if I missed...oh well. Today she was sneaky. She found a particularly fine stick & tossed it in. I couldn't quite reach it & next thing you know, my paws were not on the ground, but I had that stick. My person was so excited telling me what a good boy I was. I went after that stick quite a few times, & sometimes I had two swim for three whole feet or more! But wait...it gets better! I was wet, so I shook myself & darned if I didn't get a treat! So now I am swimming to get my stick & shaking when she tells me & I get a treat & another throw. Sigh...I hope we do that again.
