Arrival Story:
I adopted Garbo from the Kentucky Humane Society in May 1988 at the age of 9 months. I learned she had been at the kennel for 3 months, and I knew her days were numbered because they normally don't keep dogs that long. When I read her info and found out that she had been obedience trained and was housebroken, I knew I had to have her. The real clencher was the moment I saw her!

Bio:
Garbo was just the best pooch any one could ever have! She was best buds to my beloved Miss Greta and Mr. Kurt. She was also very accepting of other greyhounds brought into the house when I would foster or baby-sit. She was very secure and knew she was loved tremendously. Unfortunately, I had to send her to the Rainbow Bridge on January 27, 2003 at the age of 15-1/2. She was there to greet Mr. Kurt and my beloved Miss Greta and they are now happy and playing together again. I miss her a lot!
