From yard patrol to male nurse..

All I can say is, it is sooooo good my family adopted me. I take care of so much stuff around here it isnt even funny! Not only do I have my current job of Yard Patrol Guy, I have added a duty- Male Nurse. You see, MyDear has been sick- yup, MyDear has been hackin, sneezin, snifflin and feelin super yucky. Thats where I come in handy. I have been layin by MyDear, kissin her face everytime she lays down- you know- just makin her feel better. I have even taken a few days off of Yard Patrol just to do the Male Nurse stuff- Im super duper good at it!
Well MyDear went and saw her vet today and she has New-Moania. Hmmm. It must be better than Old-Moania. Thats good cuz I only want the best for MyDear! Sometimes, MyDear has these white things that she puts up to her nose and makes this funny honking sound! It skared me the first time she did it- I thought one of those gooses from the park got in MyDears head But then I did figger it out- Im smart ya know! So when MyDear fell asleep, I tiptoed over to the nightstand really kwietly and stole that white thing!! heheheeehehee! I took it down on the floor for a complete investigation- but then the DaddyGuy caught me- whoops- Busted!!! He called me a pig and took it away from me- gosh! How am I going to be the best Male Nurse in the world if I dont investigate these things?? Geez!!! Now DaddyGuy is callin me PIGLET! I dont like that name- I prefer Love Machine thank you very much.

yard patrol update

Yard patrol has been really super good lately. These big humugo dogs with white snowy tails have been walkin right next to my patrol area. They are HUGE!!!! Their whole family walks by and when I go barkin at them they run away like SOOOOOO fast- MyDear sez they are DEER. hmmmm.. Im gonna invite them in my patrol area for a meet-n-greet session. I bet they are fun.

I just cant get the invite to them cuz my barkin skarez them away before I can ask them in. Geez dont they know Im super mega friendly and would never hurt them?? I really just want to check their credentials and ask a few questions like WHERE YA GOIN?? WHY YA ALWAYS RUNNIN?? WHY YA SO SHY? stuff like that.. I know they like me cuz this morning, when I started yard patrol- guess what they left me?? A pile of these yummy chocolate chips! YUMMMMMMMMMMM-EEEEE!!! I munched into those so fast it made MyDears head spin! She came runnin at me tellin me to stop! WHAT? WHY?? They are so delicious why should I stop? But I am MyDears lil man so I do whatever she says so I stopped- well she shoveled those chips up and tossed them far over the fence! HEY! No FAIR! I WAS EATIN THOSE!!!!!! Man I hope they leave me more- I think that was quite nice of them and if they would just stop by for a second I will thank them the right way- with TONS of kisses!!!!! If you get a chance to sample these special yummy chips- go for it cuz they are soooo deeeeee-lishious!!!!!!!

Whew! What a day so far! Thank goodness I do get some scheduled breaks from yard patrol cuz I am already pooped! Its soooooo windy here that its blowin leaves all over the place in the yard, so I have been runnin my pants off chasin the leaves around. Its pretty fun, its almost like havin an invisible friend over- cuz Mils never wants to play wif me during the day. Thats when she gets all her beeuty sleep- so then she is really fresh and ready when MyDear gets home from the MoreGage shop. Geez! I just went in to check if Mils maybe would play wif me a lil bit and she is on the couch snoring! Man! BORE-ING!
Sometimes the DaddyGuy comes outside during my patrol shift and sucks on these white sticks that he starts on fire. Man! they smell gross and his breath smells yucky too after he's done suckin on one of those things- he calls em siggies! Im NEVER gonna ever have a siggie! YUCK! BARF-O-RAMA!!!!!!! MyDear would never ever have one of those siggies either- thats why I kiss her ALL the time! Whoops- breaks over- gotta go!:)

Yard patrol

Lately I have a new job- yard patrol. My friend the little red haired girl, Roxy showed me how to do it when she came to visit me a few nite-nites ago. You see, what you do is lay in the grass all day long and ANYTHING I mean ANYTHING that moves, you must run at it full speed barkin like a crazy dingo shot out of a cannon. And not just your regular barks either- were talkin the nutty crazy Cujo-type barkin. Its totally fun and it really makes the time go quick til MyDear gets home from the MoreGage shop.
Sometimes Millie, my beloved sis helps out,but mostly she just lays inside laughin at me. Im gettin pretty good at yard patrol- yesterday when those neighbor people had the nerve to open their garage door- huh! I was there to alert the whole entire world of their rudeness. I barked like my pants were on fire! hehehehehehehee! DaddyGuy says if I keep doin such a good job he is goin to get me a "Bark Collar" for my new duties- that made MyDear mad for some reason- geez! I think it sounds cool! Yippeee!
Lets just say there are no more skwirlz ANYWHERE in the tri state area with your ole buddy Oliver (me) on the job! I kinda miss the skwirlz a little bit- but hey a jobs a job!

My Air Bud costume!!

Last night MyDear came home from work with a suprise for me- Im gonna be AirBud for Halloween this year! She got me a tank top that looks just like Buddys! Im so very excited! I love Buddy and even though Im not redhead like Buddy- MyDear knew how much fun I had watchin AirBud- so she said I could be him for Halloween- YIPEEEE!!!
The bad thing was I tried my Basketball shirt on and my sister Millie started pullin and bitin at it! Man! I was so skared she was gonna rip it- but MyDear kept her from wreckin it. I think she might be jellus of Buddy but thats okay- I still love Millie best!
MyDear says that I am gonna wear lil basketball shoes just like Buddys too- Im not too sure bout that part but I guess Ill check it out. Things are just really goin good all the time for me- I have no gripes in life thats for sure! MyDear says that she will put pictures of me in my AirBud costume here on dogster in case any of my friends want to check me out. Gosh- I cant wait!!!

Today the DaddyGuy went back to work. I feel so sad, cuz he wont be home as much now but at least my beloved MyDear is home today. Millie sometimes gets mad cuz the DaddyGuy goes to his work without her cuz she really loves it where he works and wants to go along. Me- no way Hose-A. I went there once to visit the DaddyGuy and it was horrible and skary! People were yellin and singin and spillin stuff all over the place. They were drinkin those magik potions that the DaddyGuy serves up and bein super rude! I hope like crazy that MyDear NEVER takes me back there ever again! One guy even called me Stoopid- i wanted to cry!

Now MyDears work is really a fun place to visit- I got to go there once and boy oh boy that was a blast. There are all these girls- (I love girls!) with soft voices, and they all gave me snuggles and told me I was adorable. MyDear has an office with a desk and I got to lay down right next to her while she worked away. I was on my bestest behaviour so that all the girls would love me. MyDear works at the MoreGage shop, and her boss lets doggies visit there all the time-Its great! Im gonna work there when I get bigger- MyDear said I could! Gosh i cant wait to grow up and be a big boy.

Speakin of which-MyDear said that any day now Im gonna go potty like a big boy and put one leg in the air. Sounds really ridiculous I know, but lately when I go potty my back leg magikly bounces up in the air! It really confuses me and I turn and look at it like "Why are you doing that?" My leg does not answer. Hmmmm note to self- Watch back leg like hawk while goin potty from now on.

My pumpkin party

Yesterday MyDear took my beloved sister and I on an outing- we got to ride in Millies van- Vanna! I love going on van rides so I was on my extra good behaviour. I got right in Vanna and sat down as politely as possible. My sister Millie on the other hand- was bein kinda bratty and thought she would drive us all to the park. She wouldnt get outta MyDears seat and whoops she got yelled at by DaddyGuy.
So MyDear made a stop at this place where they had these big orange balls called Pumpkins. MyDear got a bunch of them for us- they smell really strange and I was so excited to get them home. I laid by them pumpkin balls all the way home, protecting them from Mils (she eats everything and I didnt want her eatin these) and even helped MyDear carry them into the den. Well MyDear got me some special pumpkin balls that are really tiny- just my size. She displayed them all cute for me (they HAD to be for me) all over the deck. I just couldnt help myself- when MyDear wasnt lookin I took all the pumpkin balls into the back yard and had a party. I rolled, and danced around, chewed on some, tossed some in the air, dropped some, flopped on some- you know partied!
Uh oh- MyDear came outside and all 10 tiny pumpkin balls where messed up! I was skared and ran to MyDear and covered her in apologetic kisses- I thought for sure this was it- my first spanking was comin. Thank goodness MyDear understood that I just couldnt help myself and that ten mini pumpkins equals a party. She let me keep all the pumpkins to myself and wasnt even mad! I was so happy I even shared my pumpkins with my sis Millie- she had fun with em too! If you get a chance get some mini pumpkins and have some fun- youll see what i mean:)

home alone

Well today for the first time ever since livin here I had to be home all by my self. My sister Mils went with MyDear for her big weigh in at the VetGuys office. Then DaddyGuy went to his VetGuy to get his back looked at so that left little ole me all alone in the house! I was pretty skared- but I am really super brave. It wasnt long before Mils came home and dropped the big bomb that she blew her diet. I feel so bad for her cuz she thought she was doin so good and that her big "D" (D..I..E..T) was workin great- when all along she was still my big round ball of love. Her belly is so pink and chubby- its like a beautiful soft pillow- I would cry if she got skinny and that belly went away. Shes perfectly plump in my book.
Hmm.. I did see her sneakin stuff off the counter a few times when MyDear wasnt lookin ... but who am I to tattle? She never does share with me either- that sorta stinks. One of these days when I grow up (bigger than Mils) Im gonna sneak my own treats too:)
Oops- Gotta go- DaddyGuy just layed on the floor again- gotta go slobber his face up!

3 dog night

Well my buddy Roxy had to go home yesterday. Man I really miss her a lot. I asked MyDear if Roxy could just move on in here with us but she said that Roxys daddy and mommy would be super sad. Since Roxy left I have been taking some big naps cuz we ran and played so much. I admit I cried a lot after Roxy left- I couldnt help myself- shes so much fun!

I dont know why people say mean things about Pitbulls- Roxy is just as sweet as she could be. We had a slumber party every night and DaddyGuy called it a 3 Dog night- MyDear would get in our bed, Millie would stretch out on one side of her, me on the other and Roxy up by MyDears head- and we stayed there all night long! Roxy can really cuddle thats for sure! It was the funnest thing ever.. then usually I stick to MyDear like everywhere she goes, but with Roxy here I was just to busy. Roxy taught me how to chase skwirlz out of the yard- heeheee! What fun! I dont really mind if the skwirlz are in the yard but I pretended in front of Roxy- you know, I am a guy and all. Even Millie had fun with Roxy- when I was too pooped to run or jump around - Millie took over! Boy oh boy- I cant wait for Roxy to come back for more visits..

Hi! Cant write much (pant pant) today cuz my friend Roxy is here. Whew! I cant believe how much we have been runnin and playing-(pant pant pant) we havent sat down once! I really really really like her and she likes me!(pant) Its great! DaddyGuy and Millie like her too- I think Roxy is what you would call a Pitbull- but we dont care what some people say- we love her just the same! Its gonna be fun tonight- Roxy is gonna sleep in the bed with MyDear, Millie and me- the DaddyGuy is still laid up on the floor. (pant pant) Well gotta run- Roxy just squeeked my best toy in my face- you know what that means... its on! Bye for now...Ill write more tomorrow and tell ya about my slumber party!
