Arrival Story:
This is actually my friend's dog but I've always wanted him to be on Dogster and now I finally have some digital photos of him. My friend got Mac as a 6-7 week old puppy in August 2003. I got to puppy-sit Mac the very day my friend got him because he had to attend a meeting. Mac (who was nameless for the first few days) was soooo cute! He loved to run and jump and play and then he got all tuckered out and laid himself out flat on the grass while I just stared at him and fell in love. (It was my friend getting Mac that made me decide to get a dog -- but it was also watching the difficulties of raising a puppy that made me decide to adopt an older dog.)

Bio:
At 1 1/2 years old Mac still has boundless energy and my friend has decided that with the circumstances in his life Mac is not getting the attention he deserves, so we're looking for a new home for him. A home with a companion dog, a big backyard, and a doggy door would be ideal. **UPDATE: Mac was adopted 1/15/05 by a woman who wanted a companion for her 7 year old Schnauzer. She had owned two Cocker Spaniels previously who have passed away.
