Arrival Story: After losing my three dogs, Joey, Jake, and Nari to poisoning- I was on the search for a new dog. A friend of mine strongly recommended Schilling Law Dogs as a source to get an older puppy. So, I made the trip all the way up to Noti, Oregon to go meet two dogs. One male named Seasko, and a female named Shira. I instantly fell in love with the male, Seasko, he ran around, so happy we were there with a broad smile on his face that I will never forget. The female was a little more shy. But I knew I had to make my decision carefully. A dog is for life. So, while sitting in the local Dairy Queen eating an ice cream I looked out the window and up to the sky and asked, "Jake, Joey, Nari... is he the one?" And at that instant, "Arms of the Angel" started playing in Dairy Queen. I knew right then and there he was the dog for me. Since then he has been with me and has been renamed, Ando.
Bio: Ando is my Psychiatric Service Dog in training. He is a very special dog, being trained to mitigate my mental disability. I suffer from a severe degree of depression, anxiety, psychosis, and possibly bipolar disorder. He is being trained to alert me to anxiety attacks, ground me during them, comfort me during my depression, and steer away morbid thoughts during my depression through stimulation. He is a wonderful dog, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Is superb. I took you out today and we worked and you did far beyond my expectations (which were very high). I am so proud of you, Ando. We have come so far. I am so happy to have you as my service dog. I love you so much- your focus and drive is just outstanding. I give Ken Schilling five stars for the training he has taught you and me! We are now working together as a team. I can't wait until your custom harness is ready!
Wow, after a long almost two months without my best buddy, service partner, best friend, child, dog, (aka, you Ando) you came home at last! Ken came up early this morning with you. Before he opened the back of his Jeep he said, "Brace yourself" I laughed at the comment, but little did I know how excited you would be! You raced around the yard at first, but then you noticed me and barrelled up to me like you always do- but then went back to Ken. You seemed upset at me for sending you away. But I didn't take it too personally, I knew you would come around!
We then worked with Ken for a couple of hours on all of the training you had recieved at his facility in Oregon. You were such a goof, but you did so well I was so impressed with all that you had learned and I know we will do just fine out in the big world together.
After the training session had come to an end, it was time for Ken to head back up to Oregon. The last thing he told me was that if I ever needed anything or had any questions- that I give him a call! I felt so supported. Then we shook hands, I thanked him- and he left. You looked a little sad when he left, but it all turned around when I invited you inside. The first thing you did was race to my room, jump on my bed, and rub yourself ALL over it! IT was quite a sight! And then, I knew you were home. After that you weren't sad at all. You were justy as happy as I was that you were back. We went to the dog park, the regular park, and you got a good bath. It was such a good day, Ando. I'm looking forward to never being separated from you again.
I am ecstatic! After so much talk of it- you are finally coming home! I am so happy I can hardly get the words out! I love you my little woofer! See you soon!
