Arrival Story: After losing my three dogs, Joey, Jake, and Nari to poisoning- I was on the search for a new dog. A friend of mine strongly recommended Schilling Law Dogs as a source to get an older puppy. So, I made the trip all the way up to Noti, Oregon to go meet two dogs. One male named Seasko, and a female named Shira. I instantly fell in love with the male, Seasko, he ran around, so happy we were there with a broad smile on his face that I will never forget. The female was a little more shy. But I knew I had to make my decision carefully. A dog is for life. So, while sitting in the local Dairy Queen eating an ice cream I looked out the window and up to the sky and asked, "Jake, Joey, Nari... is he the one?" And at that instant, "Arms of the Angel" started playing in Dairy Queen. I knew right then and there he was the dog for me. Since then he has been with me and has been renamed, Ando.
Bio: Ando is my Psychiatric Service Dog in training. He is a very special dog, being trained to mitigate my mental disability. I suffer from a severe degree of depression, anxiety, psychosis, and possibly bipolar disorder. He is being trained to alert me to anxiety attacks, ground me during them, comfort me during my depression, and steer away morbid thoughts during my depression through stimulation. He is a wonderful dog, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ando-Proofed doggie products that Ando recommends to his doggie friends:
Tropiclean Oxy-Med Oatmeal Shampoo: This is a great shampoo for dogs who get bathed often and need something that won't irritate their skin. It's all-natural, cruelty free, and it smells heavenly! Four paws up from Ando!
Earthbath Green Tea Leaf Grooming Wipes: Ando gives these a paws up! These wipes are perfect for dirty paws, in between baths, they are all natural, and they smell so good! Not to mention the are cruelty free and they don't irritate dogs' skin!
Red Barn Braided Bullysticks, Pig Snouts, and Beef Straps: All natural treats for pups! Excellent chews that provide hours of entertainment, Ando very much enjoys these products while in his crate.
Nylabone Edible and Non-Edible Chews: Along with Red Barn, Nylabone makes some excellent chews for puppies and grown dogs alike! Great for strong chewers!
Great Life Pet Food- raw coated kibble This is what Ando eats because a raw diet became too expensive to do. This is a close cousin to the raw diet as far as kibble goes, it's grain free, made with free range chicken, has a freeze dried raw layer, and it is all human grade. It's something I can feel good about feeding because on the raw- let's face it, we can't always feed free range. Now I can feed something I feel better about.
I invited your auntie to go to the mall with us Ando, but instead she said something that really hurt my feelings. She said something only you and Damon would understand and hurt with me for- something about me being an embarrassment with my disability and her not wanting to be seen with me.
So, I hung up on her and we went to the mall anyways. I had a good time and we got lots of compliments and pictures. It was just you and me. Kind of difficult to get pictures of you and me when I'm by myself but it worked out alright. What she said to me though really lingered. Actually, it infuriated me. But I suppose you can't choose family.
So when I got home I sat with you and you helped calm me. You actually full on climbed into my lap as far as deep pressure went- silly boy! And then I lit some candles and took and bubble bath.I'm okay now. If only she could see the wonderful things you do for me, and the smiles you bring to people's faces... if only...
And it looks awesome! It's everything I expected Ando!
The leather color matches your leash perfectly!
The leather is very sturdy, quality leather and its light so you won't feel trapped or uncomfortable in it- I've already taken you for a walk in it and you felt just great! The handle is what I wanted- and there's even a metal star decoration on the back- and a chest plate! It's fabulous- just what I wanted! And you look so handsome in it!
On a nice morning hike in the foggy sun today, Ando. It was lovely, and I have to admit I took some nice pictures of you. After that we relaxed for a while and then took a trip to the dog park. You were so excited... you knew right where you were going. There was a Golden Retriever there who liked to play fetch. And to my astonishment- you played fetch too! And brought it back! That doggie taught you well Ando!
After the dog park I had to go to my counseling appointment. I took you of course. You were great but absolutely dead beat from the dog park. Despite being tired though you were watchful and on-duty how you always are with me.
I love you.
