Trent Park Agility show

We went to an agility show yesterday and the Novice Agility was quite difficult, but I got a clear round, there were only 5 other dogs that went clear, so I came 6th out of 179 dogs. I also got a clear round in Novice Jumping.

Spooky

I got all the humans spooked last night at our heelwork to music class. It's in a hall that's at the front of the hospital and it used to be the old hospital morgue. Well, I was just laying there quietly at the side waiting my go when I suddenly got up and barked at the ceiling, even when I stopped barking I stood staring at the ceiling for ages.

Supadogs 2006

Last week we were at Supadogs Agility show. I got 5 clear rounds during the week.

My new little sister

Skye came home this morning, I was so excited and couldn't wait to meet her. Mum said I had to be gentle with her and I was ever so good, I showed her where the ducks were and she liked them, I can't wait until she gets bigger and we can play together.

Mid-Downs Agility show

We went to our 1st agility show of the year today, I was a little distracted in Novice Jumping and ran past a jump, but I got a clear round in Intermediate Agility.

Weaves

When I did some agility training today my tail got all tangled up in the weave poles, it happened twice, the 1st time wasn't too bad, just pulled me back a bit, released, and then I continued, the 2nd time though I was stuck and even mum had a job releasing me. She put me back through the weaves a couple more times, just to make sure I hadn't got a hangup with the weaves now. I've always been slow through the weaves and now mum thinks that maybe anytime I get some speed going through them my tail gets caught a bit and it tugs, so I only go slow. A few people on our BC Forum have said that some dogs with fluffy tails get them caught in the weaves when it's wet and it was wet this morning. Mum doesn't want to cut my beautiful tail, so she says she'll just let me go through the weaves slowly, so it doesn't get caught up anymore.

Snow

It's snowed and we've been out in it. The snow really shows up how dirty the white part of my coat is, it looks cream coloured!

Christmas

I got so many new toys and treats, Christmas is great. My Secret Santa on our Border Collie forum sent me the most yummy Turkey and Cranberry biscuits, which I (of course) shared with Boomer and Teagan.

Blackwater Dog Club Xmas Party

Another Party tonight. I got to have a go at 'Retrieve the Sausage' but there was no way I was going back to mum until I'd eaten that sausage, she'd fooled me when I was a puppy when I brought it back to her before I realised it was a sausage and every year it's some poor unsuspecting puppy that takes it back to their mum without realising it's a sausage, this year it was a Rottie puppy. Then I did the fancy dress, dressed as a puzzle dog, I didn't win though, it was some human children with their Cavalier King Charles Spanials, that had a sleigh and 2 dogs were dressed as reindeer at the front of the sleigh and 2 were elfs in the sleigh.
