my awards shelf now a lil bit heavyer.......

i can not beleaves my gud for-shon! my page wid all da picfurs of me waring da hid-e-us cost-tooms has winned da page of da month at "princess divas and prince charmings". i putted my tro-fee as my mane picfur so flannigan haves to see it on his page. momma say dis are not nice but i don't care! i is a proud scottie and i revel in da lime-lights!!

Derrin has been in his new home for a little more than three weeks now. I thought we should have been finished with the housebreaking process by now but Derrin continues to have pee-pee accidents intermittently as though he can't help it so I collected a urine sample and took it to the vet. Sure enough, he has a urinary tract infection! He has not figured out how to lift his leg yet and he squats sooo low to the ground that he probably picked up some bacteria. Today he starts his medicine so I think by next week we will be accident-free!!

all is good.......almost..........

yesserday i spended da day wiff da lady doctor. mom, dad and flannigan taked me dare at 8:30. i getted wayed and i is proud to says i am a healthy 18.2 lbs. i spended a little time visitin wiff da other speshal doggies dat got to be dare and den a nurse girl came and took me to one on one meeting wiff da lady doctor. funny ting is, i don't remembers much affur dat. i musta beened really tired cuz i felled asleep and didn't wake up fur who know how long? when i did wakes up, i was not wiff da lady doctor anymore. i hope she don't tink i is rude, but i couldn't stay wake! daddy comed to get me about 5 o'clock and telled me i could not play wiff flannigan or do any jumping or running around. i don't understands it........i didn't do nothin wrong and i feels fine! i showed him my displeezure by having "no so" axcident on da floor. him beleeves it is juss a setback cuz of my visit wiff da lady doctor.
maybe dad on to somefing cuz dis morning i had nother axcident only dis time i getted in trouble cuz i juss be outside 10 minutes earlier. what that lady doctor do to me??

good morning diary,
it has beened a berry bizzy week. i gotted to my new home tuesday afternoons. i stayed in two rent-a-rooms on da way home. i gotted to sleep on da big bed wiff flannigan, mom and dad. it was grreat! me and flannigan are bestest buds. we play and play den we sleep so we can play sum more. i has had a few assidents in da house but i am gedding better wiff each day. momma says i is a fast lerner! i watch what flannigan do cuz him never gets in truble. i find out litening fast dat i get da treats mucho faster if i sits down. i can come flyin in and slide in to da sitting postition. momma say she hope i don't wear out my hiney cheeks!
mom said she was gonna call and makes me an appointedment wiff the lady doktor. her said i would be spending a hole day wiff the doktor lady and dat i should feal real onered. i gonna be gedding something new or newdered or something like dat. it sounds very impordant!
momma's furend lisa comed over yesserday wiff peaches (her a nice black labradork). lisa ooh and awe all over me. they bringed over a big purdy bag ful of goodies and treats. i telled em they can comes back any time!
