Anything he can eat. And I mean anything. Except spinach.

He hates his feet touched.

He loves the park and running with my downstairs neighbors, Emma and Hannah

Best Tricks:
The little piggy can catch food in his mouth. Go figure.

Arrival Story:
After I lost my pug, Elvis Pugsley from cancer at only 7 years old, I was just heart broken. My neighbor had Loki's older brother from another litter, who I fell in love with. Although I was reluctant to get another dog, my beagle, Sweet Pea was lonely without Elvis even though she was never nice to him when he was alive (typical girl, right?). Loki came to us when he was about 4 months old. Sweet Pea was slowing down at 7 and welcomed Loki's spunk. On her 8th birthday, 4 month old Loki taught her how to catch. It had to have been one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Loki is named after the Nordic God of mischief, which couldn't fit his personality more aptly. He is always sneaking into something he shouldn't be getting into or stealing food when I'm not looking. I have never met a more treat motivated animal in my life. I sometimes wonder if I didn't feed him enough when he was a baby and now he is obsessed with food. Loki has this wonderful way of making everyone feel like they are his very best friend and the only person on earth who matters to him. Little do they know he does this to everyone. That's okay, for the moment he is with someone that person is the center of his world. While he is such a sweet, happy dog, he's also a big chicken. Once I was walking with him and his leash got caught up between my legs. I did a total face plant on the side walk and instead of being a loyal friend and companion ensuring my safety, he ran half way up the block in terror. He jumps like a cat at his own shadow and in fact, he has even run from cats. But that's okay. He is my pup and I love him.
