Arrival Story:
When we got UBU we were supposed to get a Yellow Lab. When we got to the breeders to pick out a pup, he had Lab/Vizsla mix puppies for sale also. I decided on a little, whiny, yellow mix pup. The day after we brought her home, she got sick and when we took her to the vet, we were told that she had parvo and there wasn't much hope for her. It was our choice to either put her down or to give her a chance. The vet would do whatever he could to support her and see her through this illness, but there was no guarantee that she would survive. We decided to go for it and give her a chance at life. We left her in the loving hands of the vet and after around 4 days, she was doing better, so we brought her home. She is a very sweet, but spoiled baby and we love her lots.

UBU had a stroke last night and at 4 a.m. today, we said our last goodbyes
as we helped her to the Rainbow Bridge.
It was very peaceful and she fell asleep with us hugging her. It is going
to be so lonely for all of us here withought out mommasita.
Godspeed sweet UBU...I loved you more than life and if there was any hope
that you would get well, I would not have made the choice I did. We did it
with all the unselfish love we had in our hearts. You were my heart dog
and will remain in my heart forever. Watch over us and help us to make the
right decisions for Sadie and Peaches.
See you at the bridge my sweet girl.

Dear Diary and pup pals.
Well...I found out where Sadie was. She was at the hospital getting fixed.
She told me it was a scary place and she was so happy to be home. Guess what.????...she didn't have the dreaded cone on her head, either.
I am not sure if I am happy about her being home, or not. I AM getting better treats when she is around. Everytime mommy gives Sadie one, I give her my best sad look and she gives me one too. Thanks... I LOVE YOU MOMMY! I even have my own Kong which gets filled with peanut butter every day. On the other hand, I have to put up with her constant picking on me. Of course, when I have had enough, I do let her know it. tee hee
Plus, mommy sticks up for me because I am the oldest.
ANYWAYS, I gotts to go....potty that is.

Mommy and daddy took sissy Sadie somewhere and didn't bring her back.
I have been looking everywhere for her and can't find her. Maybe she is being held hostage somewhere and she needs me to save her. Mommy told me that she had to go to the hospital to get fixed and she will be home tomorrow....I didn't know she was broke. I think I am going on a hunger strike till she comes back....on second thought....that is not such a good idea.
Really...even though I love my sissy, it is kind of nice to have mommy all to myself for a few days. I will make it up to Sadie when she comes home....just hope she doesn't jump all over me...
Ta Ta....I am going to put on my best sad looking face and see if mommy will feel sorry for me and put some peanut butter in my kong.
