Great news everyone! I've completed my heartworm treatment and
am finally done with exercise restriction. I'm such a happy girl now
that I can run and play in the back yard. I sometimes jump up and do an
airborne kidney bean move that you wouldn't believe! I am now ready to
find my forever home. I am housetrained and crate-trained, although I
still don't love the crate, I will tolerate it when needed. Mostly I get
to hang out in the foster room uncrated and keep all of the other
fosters in line! I do not tend to chew on anything and I am very calm
and quiet when inside the house. When I get the chance, I LOVE to relax
and nap with my foster parents while they are hanging out around the
house. I am very much of a people dog. I love kids and am gentle enough
for a home with children. I do fine with other dogs after an appropriate
introduction period, but I would be perfectly happy as an only pet. I
walk nicely on leash and ride well in the car. I enjoy playing with toys
and especially with balls. I hope to find my forever home very soon and
make it home for the holidays!

I have been a busy girl recently. I got spayed and microchipped a few weeks ago and I just began heartworm treatment last week. I'm doing well with treatment so far. It's just no fun because I can't run and play right now! My foster parents still think I'm a very easy and sweet foster girl. I am housetrained and my foster parents no longer crate me. I do not tend to chew on anything and I am much happier when left uncrated. I am a quiet girl who rarely barks and I am calm and gentle considering my young age. I get along fine with all the other dogs here, but I have no interest in playing with any of them. Sometimes I get mad when they try to hog the attention from foster mom and dad, but I shape up right away when my foster parents verbally correct me. I would be happiest as an only pet in my forever home. I am really a "people dog" who loves to cuddle, follow you around the house and just hang out! I have interacted very nicely with children of all ages. Once I get through with this boring heartworm treatment, I will love going on walks and playing more in the back yard!

Hi! My name is Junebug and I am brand new to BRBR. I had been running
around as a stray for several weeks, but a kind lady caught me and
contacted BRBR for assistance. I am now in my foster home and my foster
mom believes that I was an indoor companion animal at some point in my
past. I have nice manners, I am very sweet and social, and I am in good
physical health other than my heartworms! I will soon be spayed and
treated for my heartworms. In the meantime, I'll be learning lots of
good stuff in my foster home. I'm not a fan of this crate contraption,
but foster mom keeps putting me in there, so I will have to learn to
live with it! There are lots of other dogs here. I've met a few of
them so far and was very calm and friendly with them. I have a busy few
weeks ahead of me. I'll send you another update soon!
