Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give you a quick update. It's been 18 days since I got adopted. Thats 5 more days then the last time, and things couldn't be better!

My foster mom and sister, Giir came and met me and my new mom at the dog park to get some play time in. I was so excited to see Giir and my foster mom, my tail just couldn't wag any faster. She gave me lots of hugs and kisses and told me how much everyone was happy for me that I had found a new home. I am too!

The dog park was so much fun! My mom knew she wouldn't be able to get me away from there, but I was more than happy to follow Giir right to the car and head home, it was very chilly out. There is talk of us getting snow!? What's snow.... by the sound of it none of the humans are excited about it, it is the south after all.

If its nice on Saturday, and there is none of this stuff they are calling snow, my foster mom told me that she'd be happy to meet us back here for more play time, in the sun which will hopfully be warmer!!! I didn't mind but I know I'll get to stay longer if my human is happy and warm.

Enjoy the new picture, it's of me and Giir playing!!!!

sloppy kisses,

Do you wonder who Dave is? Dave is my new 11 month old grey tabby brother!!!!!

How did I get a brother?

Well.... I GOT ADOPTED!!!!!! (again) This time for good!!!!! (cross our paws)
It happened on Saturday. My foster mom got a call from one of the wonderful ladies that works with Save a Life the organization I was through here in Georgia. She asked if she was bringing me in today. She said no, but then she told my foster mom that she had a couple here that wanted to met me.

WHAT!?!?!?! Well my foster mom said we would be there in 15 minutes, and she rushed to get me ready. I had been frolicking in the mud outside, so I had to get cleaned up quickly and put on my collar and vest. Grab all my stuff and off we went. I loved them, and they loved me too! They also adopted a kitten.. That's DAVE! and we hit it off right away.

We walked around the store getting everything we both needed, new bowls, litter box, food, litter, toys, and treats! After that was all done, my new parents came over to my foster moms to pick up my crate and any last minute things that she forgot about. Like the awesome stocking she had hidden away with yummy goodies for me!

Then my first night at my new home Dave, my new brother kept following me around. Which I was ok with. I had my crate all set up and plenty of raw hides to enjoy.

Live is good,
and I have a furever home for Christmas and beyond!!!!!

300... and yes. My name is staying 300

This could have been me.

Puppies and kitties are not ment to be given has gifts that will not be treated right, and loved like family should be. I know, my foster mom found me with a chain and padlock attached to my collar 4 months ago, I was under fed, and covered in fleas. I was filthy and stained and I had fur missing. I'm just looking for a great home.

Enjoy this poem my foster mom found,

T’was the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
With no thought of the dog filling their head.
And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
Knew he was cold, but didn't care about that.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Figuring the dog was free and into the trash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of midday to objects below;
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But Santa Claus with his eyes full of tears.
He unchained the dog, once so lively and quick,
Last years Christmas present, now thin and sick.
More rapid than eagles he called the dog's name,
And the dog ran to him, despite all his pain.
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Let's find this dog a home where he'll be loved by all"
I knew in an instant there would be no gifts this year,
For Santa Claus had made one thing quite clear.
The gift of a dog is not just for the season,
And we’d gotten the pup for all the wrong reasons.
In our haste to think of giving the kids a gift
There was one important thing that we missed.
A dog should be family, and cared for the same.
You don't give a gift, then put it on a chain.
And I heard him exclaim as he rode out of sight,
"You weren't given a gift! You were given a life!"

I'm still looking for a furever home, so please let everyone you know that is looking for a new pet to look into adoption. Young dogs make great pets!!!!!

For the time being I'm enjoying my foster family very much. My foster mom has moved my crate into my foster sister's room so I sleep in there with them. I'm so great about my crate, that is defiantly my special place, if all is quite in the house you can find me there taking a quick nap or chewing on a rawhide.

My foster mom is going to try and get a video up of me having a great time in the back yard, it's just been kind of icky weather lately, so we haven't been spending much time out, so it'll be up when the weather allows it.

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving, I know I did!!! I enjoyed some turkey and played with Giir, my foster sister, Ace and Destroyer, my foster moms parents dog and her friends dog.

Biscuits and Love,

Don't you think I'm cute?!

Hi again.

Me, Myself, and I... aka 300! is still available for adoption. It's been 3 long months and I'm doing great! I look nothing like the dog I was when my foster mom found me, and I've got such spunk and personality.

You've seen my pictures, from then till now, but just to recap on what I was like then... on August 7 when I was found... and now!
I had a 5.5 pound chain and padlock attached to my collar. I was under weight at around 29 pounds, I was covered in fleas, most of the fur on my tail was chewed off, and on my back right paw. I was "coffee stained" on my white fur where I layed in the dirt all my life till I ran away from that horrible place.

I'm all white and brown, no coffee stain here, my tail has grown in beautifully! my paw is all better, I'm filling out to a wonderful weight of 38 pounds. No more fleas, heart worm negative, I've been neutered, and micro chipped. I get a long with other dogs, cats, and kids.

I'm looking for a loving family home that will provide me with everything I need to stay the spoiled pup I'm becoming. A playmate is a must for this me, I'm not picky, I'd just love another, dog or cat, even a kid to play with! Even more than one of those options would be great for me!

Please email me if you'd like to meet get in contact with my foster mom to meet me!! Because I can't wait to meet you!

Yum, Yum.. Wag-O-Ween

My goodness was that a lot of fun!!! I'm surprised I didn't get a tummy ache!

So my foster sister's and I went to wag o ween this past Saturday, and let me tell you. I enjoyed myself! All these nice people handing me treats, I just couldn't say no. Both Giir and myself made lil pigs of ourselves, and the funny thing is. Saleen was the one dressed up as the big. We went out as the barn yard. My foster mom was the farmer, and then there was Giir as the Chicken (a very big chicken), Saleen as the little piggy, and myself.. your pumpkin! :) I also had on my new vest! It got here just in time. I wore it proudly. My foster dad was walking me and telling everyone how to get more information about me. So let's cross our paws again.

Love & Biscuits,

Just a update.

Just an update to let you know....

nothing new.

No one is interested in me yet. But my foster mom did buy me a cool vest that says Looking for Love, ADOPT ME to wear on Saturday when we go to wag o ween, which is a local event here every year downtown where humans and their dogs get dressed up and go trick or treating. My foster sisters went last year and they got a TON of treats they said, I can't wait for this year! It's going to be a blast, and I'm looking forward to all those yummy treats just for me!

Looking for Love,

Hi again everyone,

It's been 13 days since I was adopted, and I'm back.

Back to being known as 300, and back with my foster family.

I just didn't work out with my new family. I was bored, even tho I was out in the country and I started to chew on things around the house. I never did that with my foster mom and so I was given back.

When my "temp" mom called my foster mom yesterday she asked her if she wanted to take me back.... or I'd be going to the shelter.

So here I am, back at my foster's mom. I got back here at 6am.

Then later in the morning when my foster sisters got up we all went out in the yard and played, like I never left. It wasn't to long ago that I was here.

In that time, I did get neutered, micro chipped, and had my distemperment shot. Not sure if I received anything else, my "temp" mom forgot to bring the paper work and so she's going to mail it to my foster mom.

Cross your paws again pup pals, my foster mom is going to contact some other rescue/adoption places today.

yeah we're back to my old name... no more Spud.

You can call me by a new name.

My new owners have re-named me, which my foster mom was hoping they wouldn't, but most everyone else was, with 1 or 2 exceptions.

I am now known as Spud.

like a potato.....

What do you think is better?
Spud or 300?

and don't forget....

300 aka Spud
