Wow, what an eventful day today! Mom took us all over to her brothers house where she is taking care of their dogs while they are on vacation and did a lot of training with us. She worked with us on our Down stays with distraction and on our Recalls. She even took our Weave poles over there and worked with me on them... though it was hot and I wasn't really up to doing them but I did them any ways to make her happy.
We stayed there for a few hours taking turns being worked with, plus we got to play with the other dogs that live there. That was fun. Though I got in trouble a couple times today, I forgot I wasn't supposed to jump out of the truck and I remembered real quick like I messed up. Then I jumped out again later wondering if I'd been forgotten about. Oops, nope I got in trouble again so I decided it was best to just stay in the truck.
After that, we all go to go to the river! Ahhh the water felt so nice! I was really hot so it was quite refreshing though I didn't swim as I don't like to, but I did wade deeper than normal.
Mom says maybe later well get to go on a walk and do some more Agility training. We'll see!

Yay! Today Amy took Judd and I out on a walk. She was working with us on off leash walking around town & out of site stays while she went into the post office and our local gas station. We were both very good! We layed down very nicely while people came in and out of the store. It was a calm day though so we didn't get to see very many people.
At the end of our walk, Amy took us to the park! We got to run around and sniff a bit and we worked on recalls.... I needed a few reminders. Then we went to the river which is right by the park. Judd went for a swim... I'm still learning the whole swimming thing, not a huge fan of it yet. After that, we went back home.
After resting for a bit, Amy took me in to work on our Agility! She says I'm perfecting the Weave poles and am doing very very good! I can sense she is proud of me which makes me even happier.
Of course my whole day wasn't fun... it was boring up till she took us for a walk, and then later she took Allie & Daisy two of the other dogs we live with out on their walk and left me home. Then I was left home again while they went golfing and out to a B-Day Party.
Soooo... I spent my time here on the computer writing up this Diary Entry and talking to you guys. Clever Eh? haha

So first of all... lets get caught up shall we? I've lived here with my humans since I was a pup. They brought me in and have given me a great home! I live with 5 other dogs.... yes 5. Haha.... I was first to get put up on Dogster! *teases other dogs*. I am the youngest of the group at 2. The others are 13, 12, 11, 9, and... 5-6 maybe not sure how old the last one is due to being found. Any ways... this is about me not them.
Amy being a dog trainer, I am very well trained and am already off leash trained, though I need a reminder every now and then. Hunting... well ... we're working on it. My humans wanted to train me to hunt, but didn't have birds and the what not to work with me with while I was growing up. Soo I'm still learning though they take any opportunity they can to teach me.
In fact just last week we were away on vacation visiting a family member when I snuck over to the neighbors and caught me a chicken! How's that for hunting? Ha, that chicken didn't know what hit her. Of course I didn't kill her or hurt her even. I kept a very soft mouth... though I did let her go once I finally got everyones attention I had caught my own chicken, shhhh I kept feathers as a suvineer!
Later, my humans explained to me chickens aren't what I'm supposed to be hunting. *sigh* I'll get it one of these days.
Any ways... I've recently began training for Agility! Boy is that fun!!! I am very good at everything, sometimes I get real excited and just start running circles. It's so fun! You all should try it! Though lately we haven't been getting to go to class due to Amy getting sick and such. Next week though! I can't wait!
Luckily Amy was nice enough to build jumps and weave poles so we could practice agility at home too. I'm happy about that.
Sooo... that pretty much sums things up for now. Today I'm a bit bored as Amy has been sick and we haven't got to do much. But she has been great enough to let us practice agility. Perhaps we'll get to again later today as well! One can surely Hope!
Bye for now.... - Crash
