Meet Bunny. This sweet little stray puppy has stolen our hearts. She is definitely a mixed breed. I believe she is mostly Boxer and German Shepherd as she has very short, thin Boxer fur and German Shepherd shape. Her tail, ears and dew claws are still intact. We estimate her age to be approximately 12 weeks and she is 15 lbs. Due to her age and weight, she will most likely be a large dog.
The vet has given her a clean bill of health and she is highly intelligent. She has already learned a few commands and she knows what we mean when we ask her if she would like to go outside, for a walk, ride or call her for meal time. I am amazed how quickly she has taken to crate training and house breaking. She will stand by the door to alert us when she needs to go out and doesn’t mind being in her bed at night. She’s been so good that she has the run of the house except for when it’s bed time or when we are not home. Every time I teach her something new, she easily picks it right up. She isn't a typical puppy on a leash, she walks with a beautiful, proud gait. My walks have been taking twice as long lately because she draws people over to meet her.
Bunny is a very gentile puppy and plays great with the kids and other dogs. I have not seen her with cats yet, but I think she could learn to live in a house with other animals with no problem. She is a character and hilarious to watch and play with. I doubt Bunny will be with us for very long - she's a special little pup
