Thank you to everyfur who wished me a happy Birthday! I had a great day!

"Do you think it's possible that she's lost?" Asked Annie.
"Probably not. She's too young. She was probably born a stray."
"Hmmm... should I bring her in?"
"Most Definetly," replied Doctor Stef. "Bring her in now."
Annie hung up the phone and took the pup to her car.

Annie entered the office of the pet hospital, where Doctor Stef was sitting, waiting. When he saw her, his eyes widened.
"Ms. Spotts, why didn't you tell me it was this bad?" Asked Doctor Stef.
"I did... I guess. I just didn't know what to say."
"Wait here." And with that, Dr. Stef took the pup, and immeadietly rushed into the hallway, where he dissapeared in a labyrinth of passageways.

What its like to be loved

She lay her head down on the cold asphalt ground. It must be at least 11 at night. She closes her eyes, trying to sleep, but she can’t. She raises her head as much as she can, but she is weak. She hasn’t eaten for days. Slowly, she rises. She staggers as far as she can, but falls to the ground after only a few steps. She knows she is dying…. dying of a broken heart. Only a few weeks before she had been filled with so much love… but there had never been anybody to give it too. You see, she had been born a stray, a mutt that nobody wanted. Her mother died a few days after she was born, and her and her litter mate were forced to live on their own when they were only old enough to see. It is a wonder that she survived. She had been so close to death in the few weeks she had been on Earth, and she had done nothing to deserve it. As she lay down, she begins to think about her past. Her and her brother, the only other who had survived from the litter, walking down the cold, dark streets of Philadelphia. She never stopped wondering what had happened to him, the only living sole she had ever known for more than 2 weeks. Then she thought of her mother… a beautiful dog indeed, who had never been treated as well as she treated others. The pup began to stop thinking, and began to take in the world around her. Soon she felt gentle hands pick her up… warm, human hands. She had never met a human before… she had only observed them from a far. She was terrified, and she wanted to run. But her body failed her. She gathered up enough energy to open her eyes, where she saw an elderly woman smiling at her. She wondered what was to happen to her. The woman gently stroked her fur, and said, “There, there little one. I am going to take care of you. I will.” The pup could only stare, and wonder what the woman was saying. “My name is Annie,” the woman said, “There is nothing to be afraid of,” she continued. The pup just lay in her arms, as the woman carried the pup to her home. The pup rested in her arms, and for the first time in her life, she felt safe.

For my Dear Furiend Sunny...

Here is a not from my fureind Sunny, #963261. He has not been feeling good... he is only 2 years old, and deathly needs your pawrayers! This poor boy... read all of his diary to find out about his liver, his bowel infection, and all of the other challenges the poor boy faces. We love you Sunny!

My boy is not happy anymore. He is suffering. He came home yesterday afternoon. He was naseous all night and lethargic. When I'd pick him up it was like he had so little life in him. He did have the energy to get off the bed and follow me around the house, but just layed down on the floor again wherever I went.

The vet called this morning and the doc said to bring him back. He wants to give more antibiotics IV over the weekend, and is going to do an endoscopy on Monday to see what is going on inside him. I told him I have no money to pay, and he said he would do it free of charge, thankfully. I cant even say thank God, because God is taking my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is only 2!!! And he KNOWS he is all I have in this world!!! He has taken so much from me in this life - and now to take Sunny!!! How dare he! I have so much anger right now I could explode!

I will not let Sunny suffer like this. If he doesnt recover, I will do whats best for him. If you could see the look in his eyes - the way he looks at me. He is so sick. I cant even go into what my parents are saying. They have him in his coffin already.

Right or wrong, all my faith is in Dr. Ron at this point. Sunny's life is in his hands. Please dont criticize me for what I'm doing. I HAVE to believe in him. And I desperately need the support of my friends right now in this choice. I dont have the money to go elsewhere. So, where things stand now with Sunny's condition, Dr. Ron is Sunnys only hope. I just dont think hope is enough to save my best friend in the whole world - who should have many many years of life left. It so not fair.

I want to thank all of you who have sent Sunny and me POP's, and other gifts. I just havent been able to individually thank everyone yet. I finally read thru them, and was so touched by the messages, and the support once again from those I've never even met! Bless you, my friends! You are such good people to pray for my little boy.

I touched Sunny with my hands and just begged God to heal him, if he really cared at all. I hoped the strength from me somehow went into him. I know its dumb. I hope that wasnt the last time he was home. I wouldnt be able to bear that. He just has to come home and be well again.

Just Saying Hi!

Hi all! Just wanted to say hi and show you all that I am stil here. Heh heh. Incase any of you are wondering, I still have my toys from my birthday... well excaept the one I tore to shreds. That had to be thrown out. BOL! Tomorrow I am going to the doggy spa... getting groomed and stuff like that. I even get to take my first swim in a doggy pool! I'll have to tell you all how it goes.... cannot wait! I heard they wlll give me lots of treats... oh Boy! Well, see ya later furiends! ((Wags))

Today is My Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what.... I turn 2 today!!!!!!! It is so early in the morning and so many furiends have already made my morning so special... I just wanted to thank you all! You are all such great furiends!!!! I can't wait... My furmily promised mant treats, toys, and I have to look nice, so I get to get groomed!!!!!(Which I LOVE) I even get peanut butter, bananas, and I get to go to PETCO!!!!!!!!!!! This is gonna be great.... thank you to all my Dogster and Catster furiends! You guys are great!

I've been on Dogster for over a year!!!!

OMD, I have been on Dogster for over a year!! Boy, I am so excited!!! I can't believe it.... I have learned so much in my 1st year. I have made so many furiends, and played so many games!! Hehe... I am looking foward to my 2nd year very much. Can't wait!!! ((Wags))
