Friends please say a prayer for my feline sibling Furby. He has been missing since yesterday. Mommy is so worried cause he is the one kitty that seldom ever leaves the yard. He is neautered & he is 12 years & lazy. I say lazy cause he almost never goes further than the fence. Furby is an indoor/outdoor kitty. When Mommy is home he stays inside in the bathroom. Furby is the oldest member of our feline/canine pack. He was with Mommy even before Wrinkles & me came here. We's worried something happened to him.
We will pray that Furby shows up and that he is fine.
Was he ok before he went away?
Yes Zoe, last time we saw him was Thursday evening. He came in for his dinners. I say dinners because he ate his dry kibble then demanded his wet food. Mommy gave him his daily combing (she combs all our pack daily) but didn't notice anything usual bout him.
Oh dear!! I'll say lots of prayers that Furby comes home REAL SOON!!!
Sending prayers across the city that he comes home fast. If your mama needs us, tell her to call anytime day or night. :o)
Prayin' fur Furby's safe and happy return!
Your dear Furby is in my pawyers for a safe return home...soon, really soon.
I will ask my kitty brofurs to purr, too.
OH dis is NOT GOOD! Sumtimes my lil kitty Ingen 'scapes our back yard. It skeers mama when she does it. Whenefur she 'scapes, me & mama goes lookin fur her. Mama a'ways look so worried. She jus' go next door cuz da naybor has lotsa bushes an stuff-Ingen really like hangin out ina bushes and we doesn' has any.
I hopes you finds Furby real soon. I tells Ingen alla times-is skeery ina big world, but she don' listens to me. stupid kitty
There still no sign of Furby.
Could Furby have gotten locked in someplace?
Ebby, we're sending good thoughts that Furby will be home soon, safe and sound.
Ebby we are sending you guys good thoughts that Furby will be home soon.
Hugs and thinking of you.. even if the neighbours have already checked sheds etc.. ask them to check again
Love and HUGSSSSSSSS
Yeah, that's what we's thinking, Harley. Twice Momma's brudder's siamese kitty got locked up-- once in the next door neighbor's workshop (for days!!) and the next time, Momma went up to all the neighbor's garages and called for him. She found him way up the street in a neighbor's garage.
Maybe your Momma could ring some doorbells and ask the neighbors to check their garagees....
Yeah! Keep on chekin' an' chekin' an' neber gib up hope ♥
Those darn cats!!! They want to live with us but then every once in a while they go outside exploring. Our kitty brother Simba Blue got out once and a neighbor found him and took him in their home. Momma and daddy went up and down the block calling him. The neighbors heard and came out with Simba in his arms and you know what Simba did? He clawed him on his arm and the neighbor dropped Simba who then proceeded to come home - BOL, BOL Let's hope Furby is only out visiting someone also.
oh no! We know that feeling.. this is awful. Maybe he went for a tabby coffee with another cat? I will pray for you all and cross all the paws we got for his safe return.
Woofs and love, Jojo and sonja
Furby, go home safely! We know how worried you must be. Me and the kitties are praying for him.
Furby has not returned. We are so sad. He was not the type to go out hunting or exploring. At this point Mommy would just like to find his body. That way she'd know for sure. She says it times like this she wishes she didn't care so much.
Ebbers, we continue to send good thoughts for Furby's return.
We are all praying for Furby to find his way back to you ♥
Love & Wag's, Pookah
Furby the cat has not come home. Auntie been crying on & off. We's had tempature up in the 3 digits so if he's hurt somewhere he probably won't have access to water. Auntie drove around the neighborhood again but nothing. We don't have high hopes. It's raining tears at here.
Dont lose hope yet .... Josephine and Jolanda's kittie was gone I think 8 days(?) he had health probs.. but he came back.. and is ok. SO.... just hang in there... things are far from definate right now.
LOVE and HUGSSS
ok - here is what you have to do.. It will help.
Make a flyer, which you will put into as many mailboxes as you can in your neighborhood. Use sentences like:
"Check you attic, garage, storage, under the house, under your stairs, in your yard, ask your children.."
People will! They always do when our boy has his "gone missing week"......
Also share your number and the number of your vet or family on the flyer. You might get calls from people, who just want to express their concerns, others might ask whether they could touch the cat, etc.. But I would definitely give out these flyers. Also take one to the local animal care and control and the police station. Put the most up to date photo on it, where he is easily recognizable..
We think of you.. love, Jojo and sonja
hey Flicka - yes, he was a mess, but several of our neighbors saw him and one eventually caught him. He was weak. When he was back on the road, weeks later, we still got calls! We had to put out a thank you flyer so people would stop catching our guy *grins*
all was well....... like Flicka said, don't ever give up hope.

POTP for Furby...
Lulu here: There has been no sign of Furby. I am losing hope. Had this been any of my other kittys, I would hold out more hope but for Furby to be gone this long means something bad had to have happened. Maybe he was ill and went away, maybe he got injured somehow & was too hurt to return, maybe he got locked up somewhere....maybe...it's all the maybes that are the hardest to bare. I just pray to God that if he's gone he went quickly & didn't suffer. It's the thought of him suffering that has been keeping me up at night. Hard as it may be to accept that he may be gone, it is more unbareable to think that he didn't go quickly. Thank you all for so much kindness & encouragement, you have no idea how much your kind word mean to me. I thank God for Dogster & Catster people. I can barely see to type any more so once again thank you all for all the love.
Lulu.... JoJo and Jolanda's cat was gone 8 days.. he was also in delicate health. Folk have had cats go much longer.
Please.. dont give up hope yet.. please.
Also.. torturing yourself isnt going to help YOU.. or Furby. YOU are not responsible for whatever is happening... please stop making it so so SO much harder for yourself.
I know.. we all have the guilt.. but bottom line is.. that doesnt help us at all.....
Please Lulu.. its early days as yet... just hang in there.
LOVE and HUGSSSSSSSS
Growlmy & I don't know what to say and if we thought we did we wouldn't know how to say it...so we will just send you a big hug.
And licks from me to wash your face.
Lulu you can't give up hope yet. You also can't keep tormenting yourself like this. Furby wouldn't want you to do that. I know how hard it is to not know where one of your furbabies are. I have had a cat stolen from a front window that was open but, had a screen on it. I have also had a dog runaway to die. It hurts not knowing where they are and if they are okay but, thinking the worse only makes it that much worse.
I know someone has my Bluebird inside of their house but, that doesn't stop me from checking the shelters site everyday in hopes that she will pop up and she has been gone for over 2 years now. I have seen people find their missing furbabies 6 years down the road. They never gave up the hope of finding them and that is how they got them back. Never lose your hope Lulu. Furby knows that you love him and care for him and I bet he is trying to get back home to you, Ebby and Ceeley right now.
Don't blame yourself and keep hope in your heart.
Sending lots of love and happy thoughts your way.
