SANTA SPOTTED ON HWY 281!

O-M-D!!! Wheres shall I begin?! I's start at the beginning! Well pups, it all beguns Saturday afternoon. Mommy had to go do a photo shoot of a little girl in Blanco (that's the town where our Paw-Paw lives). So's she decides we's should just spend the weekend at Paw-Paw's. Yippee! Anywho, she loads us up in the jeep & off we go's.

Ceel & me is in the back with our heads out the 'winder & that's when we seen him! There, on the side of the paved path (HWY 281) was Santa-Paws & his elf assistant waving at passing cars! We 'wunners what he is doing on the side of the road. Ceel thought his sleigh musta' broke down. "Or maybe one of his venison-beasts had a flat hoof!" she said. Since we's doesn't see no sleigh or venison-beasts, we thinks they's musta been towed off. Hmmm...me 'wunners what happened.

Anywho, Mommy does a u-turn & drives back. "Girls, how would you like to get your picture taken with Santa?" Ceel & me's was 'escited & 'noyvous all at the same time! Mommy gets out & goes over to speak with Santa. We hears her tell him that she happens to have her camera & her two little dogs with her. She asks if he would mind if she snapped a few 'pitchers of him holding us. Imagine our 'sprize when he said "SURE!" Mommy was just 'espectin to snap some shots right there on the side of the road but he invited us to come inside. He said he had a little set-up jus' for 'pitchers! The elf asked if we's good with little human pups (children) cause where we's 'ennering is a preschool. Ugh! I's not too crazy 'bout 'chillens & Ceel not crazy 'bout little strangers touching her with her 'pawmission. "No problem," said the elf, "They can come in the back entrance."

"OMD! You's hears that Ceel?! We's get a private, backstage pass to see Santa!!!"

Santa asked, "And what would you like for Christmas little dog?" I was a little star-struck so Mommy answered for me & told him I's been askin' for lots of treats. Thank-dog for Mommy!

Wow! A private audience with Santa!!!!!!!!! You guys are soooo lucky! Thank goodness your mom was with you to tell him what you wanted! Carry your lists around next time and that way nothing will be left out! Your pictures are so cute too!
