Arrival Story:
My wife and I had promised our human children that once we got a house of our own we could get another pet. The girls wanted a cat since we already had a dog, Daisy, but once we got to the animal shelter I saw this beautiful little red hound and since my very first dog was a hound I had to get her. So far, she gotten along very well with our other children - human and canine. We are so excited that she is happy with us. I think she's going to be a great addition to our family.

Bio:
Staying true to her breed, she really enjoys investigating new scents. On my first park walk with her she was going everywhere but would heed my command to stay close until she got wind of squirrel and off she went. She was quick to run him up a tree and I couldn't have been prouder. I also learned that a leash will be required on our next park visit.
