Mom sat down today and said, "Rethy, it all happens at once, eh?" I thought, well, I'm not sure, but if you say so. She was talking about the fence falling apart, the kitchen sink backing up and the dsl going out all at the same time. Mom doesn't just let stuff be, she has to cogitate on it. Me, hey, if I break a toy, I just play with the pieces or if I'm digging and run into a strong root, I just start another hole. You know, just roll with it
Mom pretty much does that, but today, while Larry our landlord was under the sink with his butt crack showing (my butt is much cuter), Mom was thinking, what do a broken fence, a backed up sink and messed up communication have in common? You know, she actually figured out something deep--humans think they are so smart. I think they think to much. To me, what that stuff has in common is they all happened on the same day. They're fixed so now let's go play in the park.
Tonight, the Boss' husband Art took our picture for the training school website. I sat on the dog walk and Mom and I looked at each other. She put the full picture on the website, but cropped it down for my dogster page. She likes it. Then it must be good.
I like it too :o) It is true, all happens at the same time *sigh*
The butt crack thing is funny ;o)
I think you mom is smart taking care of everything.. but playing with the ball is way better - no doubt there. You got my full support ;o)
Woofs and hope you can kick back today, Love, Jolanda and sonja
Rethy, your world view on the value of pieces of a broken toy is deep, very deep. My human says so, and I since I didn't know there was any other way to view a broken toy, I agree.
Um, and my human is curious about the connection your mom made between the broken fence, back-up sink and lack of electronic communications. That's one trait my human and I share: curiosity. Me, I don't care if there is a connection unless it involves danger, food or fun. Humans are funny that way, aren't they?
thanks Iris. Tell your mom that mine figured it had something to do with the friend who went sideways on her about me. The broken fence (bad boundaries), filter static on the dsl line (unclear communication) and backed up sink (pent up feelings) were all related to that. Mom is still trying to figure out how to set that situation straight, but knows it's not her problems. She's just sad about it all. I tell her fuggetaboutit, let's go to the park. She usually listens to me because, Iris, between you and me, I'm a more clear on things than Mom is sometimes.
