On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009, I became a daddy. It was very exciting and scarey at the same time. One minute Kaila and I were running and playing together in the yard and the next thing I know its time to go to bed and she just wouldn't relax. She was pacing the floors until the wee hours of the morning and at around 2:30AM (actually it was the 24th now that I think about it), she layed in her favorite spot and just began popping out puppies. My daddy was helping her deliver and they were slimey and yucky but I felt so proud nevertheless. My blessed Kaila delivered 10 healthy puppies in all! We are all so proud of her! Now we have a full house and we all could not be happier.

It has been exciting watching them grow, they have just started to walk and play and their eyes have opened...now I feel comfortable to go in and see them and try to give my blessed Kaila a break. She has been so good and is taking wonderful care of them. I am going to have to treat her to a day at the spa soon to give her a break.

This is the most exciting thing that happened to me since my daddy took me to the doggie park for the first time!

All and all, I am looking very forward to the fun filled days ahead of us.
