Arrival Story:
Mom says: I had been looking on Petfinders for a long time for a Border Collie mix. There was one available at a local rescue group. So one Sunday hubbie and I went to the adoption day. Someone had already spoken for the collie, so we spent the day visiting other shelters. We decided to go back to the first place to see if the collie was still there. When we got there, the rescuer asked if we liked Cockapoos, she had just got one in and "he matches your hair color!". A couple had returned Barney, 2 weeks after they had adopted him, claiming he was so uncontrollable they had to crate him all day long. Even though I never was interested in "froo-froo" dogs, I felt sorry for the fellow. It was his 3rd chance, and maybe his last. We took him home.
Bio:
Even though Mom was worried I might not get along with Sam the Cat (also a rescue), we are great pals. I keep Sam young, and Sam shares his food with me. I cant figure out why I was returned to the shelter twice before Mommy and Dad adopted me. I love everyone and everything, and I'm only naughty sometimes.
