Arrival Story:
Queen was a rescue from a migrant worker family who used her for hunting. She came down with heart worm and cancer and could no longer use her, or afford treatment. She got treatment for everything and is now and happy, healthy, affectionate, sweet - I could go on and on.

She had been an outside dog and wasn't house trained, had never seen a leash, never heard the word "sit" . She was great at hunting - was the only dog to even come near catching a squirrel at the dog park (and she only missed it by a step) - but didn't know a house dog's life. The minute she laid on my bed, she was hooked.
