Jingles just loves to walk anywhere! But he adores walking in fields and woods and smelling bunny and dear tracks!

Arrival Story:
About 12 years ago Jingles was wondering down a busy highway on a long weekend, weaving onto the road. It was just a matter of time before he got hit by a car so I stopped to help him. It took over an hour to coax the scared little beagle to me, but eventually I gained his trust and he started to eat some food out of my hand, let me gently touch him and then he got into the car with me and my other dog Rusty (Rest in Peace). Rusty was not happy with this new comer, but they soon became good buddies! Jingles didn't have a tag and he was in the middle of no where when I found him, so I took him to the vet for a quick checkup and he had porcupine quills in his mouth (probably from eating a dead porcupine on his travels), he had whip worm and was very under weight. He had no idea about living in a house and he was obviously mistreated, curled up into a ball if you approached him too quickly, was a fear biter etc. But with lots of patience and lots of love he turned into a very fun, loyal, loving, sweet boy :-)
