Arrival Story: We lost our Rotti/Lab mix in Feb 22 this year she was 4 1/2 yrs old (Baby Angel Lassie)We are devastated. we start volunteer work at the local shelter (BSPCA) thereafter and even fostered a little sweetheart we name MIRA. Mira wasn't too well when we fostered her and she eventually had to be put down (after 3 days) April 6'09 as the vet told us that she was suffering from parvo as they have PTS her siblings earlier(Zack & Juniper).For us this was one heartache after another.
I guess to ease our pain our cousin gifted us with a sweet little rotti whom we name Leila who is now 5 months old (Leila's 1st month with us was very stressful as Mira was PTS for parvo and we are praying that nothing will happen to Leila).
But time has passed by we still have Leila with us and I don't think we can ever give her away.

Dada and his friend planned a trip to the beach for Ingy and me , well actually it was mostly for me. But dont tell Ingy that. Dada's friend has a truck where they could keep my kennel and ofcourse me in it.
It was 4:45 am, dada's racket woke me up. I was surprised to see him up that early. Only then I knew that we were heading out. Shortly we were heading out with in the truck with me in the back and mom, dada and little Ingy in the cabin.
It was my first ride in the truck and of course I was barking a lot initially, but it was only to let dada know that I was alright (actually I was very scared... But we can't let him know that)bol!
After some time though all was fine and I actually started enjoying the ride, even if it was a little warm. We finally got to the beach and wow! it was awesome. I have never seen so much water in one place. I hope mom does not have to clean it all up,I know she will be very upset if she has to(she goes nuts when Ingy and I spill water from our water bowl).
Mom and Ingy settled down under some shade and I charged into the water with dada. Wow... what a rush. I then realise that mom and Ingy were not coming in so I charged right out. I ran to them and of course shook off all the water and sand off me infront of them, I think mom was not very happy about that, Ingy couldnt care less.
Since they were not going in the water, I decided I shall not either. So, I parked myself next to them and watched dada and his friend. Dada finally came out and we played for awhile on the sand. It was fun and Ingy joined us too(he sneaked out of mama's hands actually).
Ingy managed to get some sand in his eyes he is so clumsy mom was terrifed. Dada decided it was finally time to head back home as he had to be at work soon. So we all got back in the truck and got back home.
I was so happy to be back that I almost jumped off the truck when dada opened the kennel. That wouldnt have been good as I would have surely hurt myself.
Dada and I hit the showers and he finally left for work while I hit the bed for a well earned snooze.Mom will be posting our piccies soon!

This coming Sept. 15 (Tuesday) I have an appointment with my Dogter and for an Xray.Last time Dogter had prescribed glucosamine (mobiflex).Dada was checking the internet about Flexicose have any of you heard about this supplement?
Will pray that it's not Hip Dysplasia and all will be fine.

Ingy is doing the happy dance for me and I'm just barking out loud!!! woo hoo!!! mom has prepared a pumpkin yoghurt frosty paws for us...yay!
