There may not have been any new recalls for a while but the effects are still all around us. Lois emailed in asking for help with her furbaby who was one of the thousands of dogs poisoned by tainted food. If you have ideas or ways to help, please bark in!

My dog is in kidney failure from the contaminated food. Getting her to eat anything is turning into a full time occupation! She will eat a little of something i.e. chicken breast, steak, hot dogs, hamburger, shrimp, bacon & egg for a couple of servings and then turn up her nose. Any suggestions on what else I might try. She is hungry and keeps going to her dish, but won't eat.

She has lost half of her body weight - was 9 pounds, now down to just over 4. As you can imagine this is heart breaking. Any ideas will be appreciated.
