Best in Show

If you've got a few minutes and want to explore the doggy edge of comics, check out Best in Show, an online comic strip about a boy (okay, a grown boy) and his dog. Writer/artist Phil Juliano says:

"Best in Show" was conceived on the way to the Small Press Expo in October of 2004. A long time alone in a car sets the mind to wander...

Anyhow, earlier that summer I bought a chocolate lab. Right off the bat, the knucklehead was feeding me material for the comic strip you now read. My hopes are for you to enjoy reading the strip as much as I have enjoyed creating it. Dog owners rejoice!

I guess comic artists and writers just can't get a dog without being inspired. I guess it makes sense when you think about all the funny stories us non-comic folks tell about our dogs!
