If you think your dog has star quality, and you’d like him or her to be featured in a swank coffee-table book, grab the leash and head to Hollywood this weekend. Noted commercial photographer Andrew Grant will be holding a casting call for dogs who want to appear in his next book, Woof. Like its predecessor, <a title=Rover, Grant’s new book will feature illuminating portraits of dogs of all stripes and spots. Dogs of a few celebs will also grace its pages.

Andrew says his goal is to raise money and awareness for pet shelters and rescue organizations, and to promote adoption. Click here to find out details about how he does this, and where the casting call will be this weekend. (Psst: If you have a spare $500, you may be able to buy your dog’s way into the book.)
