Grind 4 ounces of raw white rice in an old coffee mill until it looks like cream of rice. Mix in 2 egg whites or 1 whole egg and 4 ounces of plain canned pumpkin or well mashed ripe banana. Spread in a 8″x8″ or 9″x9″ pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes until browned on edges and the middle is firm. I cut right away with a pizza cutter into 16 squares. Store in the freezer. These can be used for training as they can easily broken into small bits but isn’t crumbly. I suspect you could do the same using oatmeal. Possibly cream of wheat or rice cereal would work. I plan to try this with applesauce next. I would not try this without parchment paper although a lot of greasing could help. Both my dogs like these, raw-fed Max and cooked food Sassy.
