Mom posted big Facebook announcement last night to let all her friends knowed about little Jiffy. This is what she said last night after reading the e-mail message from HUA (Hearts United for Animals): "BIG Announcement!!! HUA Adoption Committee has approved the adoption of Jiffy into our family. I'm going to faint...can't wait to pick up this adorable little fellow. Tomorrow I'll go get him a special doggie bed of his own and start making plans to go get him." She say this in post today: "It happened so quickly I haven't been thinking rationally and need more divine intervention to get little Jiffy home safely for Christmas. It's been MANY years since I've been exposed to snow, ice and all that type weather, but if roads are clear I'm up to driving the 907 miles to get him. It's less than half the distance from here to my hometown in Maine, which I've driven at least three or four times in my lifetime during summer weather." Mom say Jiffy gonna be wuffed furever and ever. She on missions today to get him special bed and say she can't wait to spoil him. We knowed it's gonna be good cuz it's about Bo, but since we haven't read it yet we can't rate it. But mom says twenty customers rated Bo's book at the Amazon site and all twenty gave it five stars each!! The highest rating. Way to go, Bo. Condogulations on a pawfect rating!!! We gots a really cool blue ball made by dogtronics. It's a lot of fun to roll around the floor cuz it flickers constantly. The only problem is we can't tear it apart....it's hard plastic and no way that we can destroy it. We're almost sure Sheba would try if she was here, but mom says she don't even think Sheba could have destroyed this ball. It's like indestructible!! We also got a hedgehog hop, also made by dogtronics. It scared us cuz it hops around all over the floor like he's having spasm attacks....he's so funny. And we got a light toy in the shape of a bone. It's also made by dogtronics and is orange in color so should be easy to find should mom misplace it. The Christmas card has seven bulldogs with Santy Claws hats on. They is so cute! All this come to us cuz we won that big stocking drawing we barked about in a previous diary entry. Aarroooo!! Now all we need is that gigantic stocking to arrive so mom can get busy with that picfur taking. She said if it don't get here on Monday she will take one without it cuz we needs to send a card to all our furiends. Izzy barked about gratefulness better than we could say it ourselves, but we are thankful for so many things despite it being a sad year fur us. Bella & Scooter are grateful to spend a second year in their new furever home. They learned the ropes from Sheba and Spike who continue to look down on them every day. Sheba is thankful for thirteen years with mom. What a wonderful life she had after dad rescued her from that evil man who was planning to take her for a ride and dump her on some country road. She is also thankful to so many furiends on Dogster who she got to know and have fun with, especially in the KKC as she danced up a storm in those red high heels and to her best furiends in SBU where she could be top dog every single day. She is thankful for so many in all the groups for sending so much love & prayers when she was ill & went to the bridge in March. Spike is thankful for ten wonderful years with mom. He was King of the Yard and all of his domain. He done a great job of keeping out unwanted critters. Spike is thankful fur so many furiends in many groups on Dogster who he had fun barking at and playing games with. Spike barks he is also thankful for so many Dogster pals & their moms who pawrayed he could beat the big C and stay with mom longer. Mom is missing him & Sheba on this Thanksgiving Day; the first without them right there by her side. Sheba and Spike was always at her feet in the kitchen when the foods were getting ready cuz something just mighta falled on the floor. Miracle is thankful fur all the help in making her #1 in the brickfish contest earlier this year and fur her furiends continued love showered upon her. She is thankful mom rescued her from the doggie jail last year and she got to know lots of wuf before going to the Rainbow Bridge. Peppy and Cricket are thankful fur having been wuffed and treated like princesses during their times on Earth. Despite the year being a sad one mom says she would have gone to the nut house if not fur so many of our Dogster furiend's moms giving her support through the worst year of her life. Here we are into the month of August already! We just can't believe the way time flies. Mo ... Sunny Lee's mama made a pawesome CD for our mom and included a big bag of delicious natural dog treats (Charlie Bears) and three small squeaker tennis balls for us. We are so lucky to have such wonderful furiends. Mom started buying us Charlie Bears...we got one of each kind last week and wuf them all!! Spike was also chosen as diary for the entire week at one of his groups. He also barked loud about that. And, Spike barked loud about our gigantic Greenies we got from Ernie George & Izzy's mom. Aaaroooo!!! We got some BIG news about winning cards in the Pet Post Card Project for the month of May. SHEBA had three winning cards, Spike had one and Bella had one!! Aaarroooooo!!! Some of our fantastic prizes already got here...the cleaning products we got earlier this year when we won before and a picture is in our photo album here. The rawhide chews arrived too, but mom is giving those away. It's fun winning prizes, but more exciting knowing we helped homeless pets get food. Miracle was a diary pick on June 4th and Sheba was a diary pick on our dad's birthday, July 27th. We thank all our furiends for sending our angel furs special messages and rosettes when their diaries were picked. We have to bark about Mica\'s IMHA Research as it is so dear to us pawsonally. All of our furiends know it took Miracle away from us all too soon just as she was starting to enjoy her new life here. Mom still misses her a whole lot and it's hard to believe it's coming upon a year since she went to Rainbow Bridge. And now Sheba is there with her sprinkling angel dust on mom every night while she sleeps to help heal her broken heart. Mom's doing better and will be okay cuz she's farming these days. Yes, it's already been two m ... Miracle was a crushing blow cuz mom fell head over heels for that sweet little girl who seemed to be improving and doing well. Miracle was so happy here then that nasty AIHA had to latch onto her. Thank dog she came to know love and happiness in our home before she crossed Rainbow Bridge. Sheba was mom's special baby who slept beside mom on the bed every single night. She's been sleeping there for thirteen years so you can only imagine how lost mom is without that big furball next to her. Spike was showing signs of grieving also and mom was worried about him, but he is doing better now. Mom always said she believes Spike thought Sheba was his adopted mama cuz he came to live with her as a baby. She was almost four years old when Spike got here and Sheba mothered him from day one. They had a strong bond and each would become upset when separated from the other. Dogvice got a overhaul and is called the Pet Postcard Project. We have been blessed that most of our cards have been accepted and posted on the site. It's great that we helped feed homeless pets. Mom plans to do some more cards real soon. We have also been very blessed to have one of our cards chosen as a winner for the month of March. Today mom got two boxes delivered by Fed-Ex. They contained what Marley Bob called the "Dingo Motherload" cuz there was a whole bunch of Dingo treats, along with shampoo, conditioner, some spray, bath wipes, and Natures Miracle. We posted a picture for all to see. What a wonderful surprise. Power of the Paw to our dear furiends Hanna Banana and Monnie. We pray they and any other furs who are ill will soon be well and back to normal very soon. We are happy to hear that our other furiend Ernie George is doing well again. You truly are the best! Miracle is smiling dow ... Miracle is smiling down from Heaven above at all the outpouring of love. It is truly amazing how we were at number 235 last Friday, but after posting here on Dogster we ended up at number 19. The power of Dogster furiends is pawesome! We asked for help and everyfur came through, but we should have asked sooner. Mom entered another campaign with Miracle's beautiful photo. Mom was so touched by some of the nice comments left about Miracle. One said, "...you can see the love in those eyes." Another comment came from the mother of an entry mom had been supporting. She said, "This picture really captures the personality and heart of this little one!!!" That brought tears to mom's eyes, but she went back and posted this reply: "Thank you for the wonderful comment about Miracle's photo. I guess that explains why it's my favorite photo of her. Mom entered another campaign to bring attention to the Animal Rescue Site... to those who may not know about feeding homeless pets by simply clicking the purple button. Most everyfur we know already is aware of this pawesome site so we won't go posting all over Dogster to drum up votes for this one. Mom is passionate about this, but is not excited about the prize this time around unless it can be turned in for cash. It's a makeover trip to L.A. for herself. She would rather be home with us doggies than travel anywhere again. If there's another campaign with prize money she will post more vigorously here because a portion of any monetary winnings will go to Mica's IMHA Research fund in Miracle's memory.
