My mom took me to a doggie store yesterday for yappy hour! They had so many cool toys. We picked out some new treats and a peanut butter banana sandwich! My mom says i was super well behaved!

After that, we went to the bark park and this big dog named Gus (male) tried to mount me! I was sure to tell him that I was not a female dog, but he did not seem to understand! He followed me around the park the entire time until we left. All I wanted to do was chase the football!

I went on my first hike on Saturday. It was pretty short, only about a mile or slightly over. Ten other dogs were also there. The road/trail was very rocky, but my paws are quite rough, and showed no signs of trouble. My mom tells me this is the first of many hikes we will do! I was very tired near the end. I growled at some of the dogs, but my mommy was sure to tell me that was not acceptable and later in the hike I did not growl at all.

The hike was a ranger led hike on South Mountain, that is done monthly in the off summer months. It is done near sunset and it is usually dark before the hike is over. You can sign up and pay for the classes on-line, which is convenient. http://online.activecommunities.com/phoenix/Activities/Activities.asp?SCheck=925286422&SDT=39349.4877730324
