Rosie escaped this morning 11-5-09 from her pet sitters fenced backyard. She actually managed to unlatch the gate and presumably is headed for home. Her owner is one of my best friends and was scheduled to go out of town today hence the need for a pet sitter.

Rosie is an adult, female, German Shepherd with a very black colored face. AC saw her at North Star and Northwest Blvd. at 10:00 AM this morning but couldn't catch her. If you find her or think you've seen her please call 614-297-8380 or 614-787-1405. She is normally a friendly dog but was very scared when she was last sighted and took off running. Please let us know if you see her.

Rosie was wearing a pink gingham collar, she has all her tags on.

Please help me spread the word to anyone you know who lives in the Columbus area. Share this message on Facebook and retweet on Twitter.

We are worried sick for Rosie's safety.

Thank you for any help!

So I don't get to wear my jewelry anymore. Mom says unless it works really well we're not going to mess around with it, which is fine. Either way I get treats, so I'm cool with that.
I got to eat a raw egg today for the first time. And let me tell you pups, that was completely awesome. Holy cow. I don't know if I could have licked my dish any cleaner. It was super tasty. You know what else is awesome? Mom has like, two days off work. So she's been home all day with me today. This I like. Dad isn't here, which is sort of too bad because he does give the best belly rubs ever, but on the other hand I get his spot on the couch, so all is not lost. I think if I play my cards right I might get to sleep in the big bed tonight too. He'll be back tomorrow, Mom says, so I'd better take advantage while I can. I love Dad and all, but he is a pretty good sized guy (that's why I can get away with sitting in his lap) so I'd better enjoy the extra stretch out space on the couch while it's there.
Really pups, it's just been a good all around day. Mom all to myself, treats, walks, and ball....and extra space on the couch...and Dad coming tomorrow to rub the ol belly. Mom tries on the belly rubs, don't get me wrong, but she's way better at just general snuggling. And I do like snuggling now. So it's been a good day.

It has been a rough few months around here. I got in two fights with other dogs and I think I won, which was good for me but was very sad and expensive for mom. The other dogs are going to be ok. Mom doesn't want to talk about this again in my diary, though. We are working on it. I have a new collar--Mom calls it my "jewelry" and a shorter leash, and now I have to go potty before we walk, and then I have to walk next to mom and if I'm good, I get treats. So that part's good. And I'm not allowed at daddy's house anymore, but that's not because of anything I did. Apparently I'm a "restricted breed". That sucks, cuz I really liked going over to dad's house. I could look at the windows and watch people and I was VERY good when I was there. I never even chewed anything up. Oh well. But I'm getting better at being good at home now too. I sorta like cuddling with Mom on the couch now..and dad if he's here, of course. I used to not like anything that required sitting still. But I've decided that snuggling is good. Unless of course they want to get up and play with me, in which case I will happily go for that too.
Let's see, what else have I done. I finally broke my orange Cuz and got the squeaker out, so Mom got me a new blue one, and she says she's never buying that kind again, cuz it sounds like a monkey just like my pink one. And I'm getting REALLY good at finding my ball when Mom hides it. That's a pretty good game, except for the part where she hides my ball!

Even pooping, apparently. Yay me, I totally pooped in dad's car a few weeks back. It's mom's fault. It was my first time staying over at dad's house, and she forgot that I need a good walk before I'm going to go poop. Or a good car ride, apparently. So she was taking me out to pee, but not walking me far enough to do the whole thing, y'know? So on the way home, I REALLLY had to go, and so I did. I even kept my balance! Mom says the fact that dad didn't dump us after I pood in his car proves he's a keeper, I say the fact that he lets me ride in his car in the first place, much less poo in it, is reason enough. But whatever. I was really good at his house. I like it there...he has carpet! And he cooks fun things. And if I'm really good when he's cooking, he gives me a piece! For the first few times we were over there, I had to sleep in the hallway on my blanket when they went to bed, but last time they let me sleep in the bedroom with them, and I was awesome. I didn't chew up anything. I did wake them up at 5:30 am. But that's when Mom usually takes me for a walk, and it's not my fault they stayed up late. Dad took me out in his underwear that time. I think he was a little tired still.

Well, it has been a fun few months around here, pups. Winter is finally over, and apparently we are just going straight to summer. So I'm getting my walkies in again, thank goodness! With summer come bunnies, however, and there is one particularly sassy bunny that thinks our window well is his private bunny condo. The other day he was on his hind legs, WAVING AT ME! Well, you can imagine the fuss I made. Mom says one of these days, she's going to open the window, take the screen out, and give that bunny a big surprise. I can't wait.
So the big thing these last few months, Mom finally got me a dad! Well, kind of. He doesn't live here with us or anything. But he comes over pretty frequently. I LOOOOVE him. He lets me jump on his lap and lick his face. And he rubs my belly! And his socks smell delicious. I chewed up a pair once, they were so good. Now mom makes him put them someplace where I can't get them. He has a dog too, named Bruiser, but I wasn't very nice to Bruiser when we met so I don't get to see him anymore. I can't help it, I was on a leash, that makes me anxious! Mom says I might be more fun than Bruiser can handle, whatever that means. They are still talking about maybe letting us get acquainted some other time, though. hmm, what else have I done the last few weeks? Oh, I got a new collar! It's got flowers on it, it's pretty. And a new leash to match. I'm all springy and festive now! And I gained about ten pounds, but that was a good thing...Mom says I can still gain 5-10 more. Heck yeah, bring on the food! Other than that not much has happened. Mom says I'm making really good progress on my reactivity...I still have my bad days, of course, but I am getting better! ooh, and I'm shedding A LOT again. Just for extra effect, I chewed up the good brush right before I started blowing coat. I just like to keep things interesting, ya know?

Heidi,
It doesn't seem possible you've already been here a year. Wasn't it just last week you were crapping all over the floor and shredding things? Oh wait, it was just last week you were shredding things.
What a year it's been. You made it through your first obedience class, and you're making me proud with the progress I see in our current one. You went to the vet a couple times, but were very considerate and didn't get sick much. This is miraculous considering you ate balloons, books, cooked chicken bones, and entire loaves of bread. And how can I forget the bully stick incident? I didn't even think it was possible for a dog to eat that much bull weiner.
You also cuddled with me on the couch, took walks whenever I wanted to take them (And sometimes when I didn't.) You slept with me, ate with me, and made sure I was awake for work whether I liked it or not. I discovered you liked belly rubs and chin scritchies. You learned I dislike having things stolen off my plate. It was a learning process for both of us, and it's still going on.
You learned to sit, down, and stay, even when you'd rather have been doing something else. You learned that chasing balls was fun, but you still don't seem to care for bringing them back.
I learned that no matter how long it's been since it rained, you can always find the puddle. I learned that your definition of food is pretty darn flexible. And I learned really fast not to wear skirts around you unless I wanted embarassing accidents. We really need to work on the goosing thing.
Sometimes I miss the days when I didn't have to rush home from work to take care of you. Sometimes I try to remember what it was like to have a house that wasn't covered with dog hair. The vacuum cost more than your shelter adoption fee, you know. Sometimes I wonder what the heck I was thinking.
But mostly, I wonder how I got so lucky. I wonder what else you have in store for me. And I wonder at your patience with me, in spite of me frequently not knowing what I'm doing.
I also wonder whether we will have any carpet left at the end of this lease.

I hope we have many more years together. I hope I get better at being the person you deserve to have. And I hope you know how much I love you.
You are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
love,
Your Mom

So tonight, I got to go up and socialize with the landlord and his dogs, which I LOVE...and he gave me a dog biscuit too, he is sorta strict with me but Mom sets rules for him and makes sure that the rules are the same as downstairs, so it's not confusing or anything.
And then, after he went to sleep, Mom and I got to go for a good walk downtown to where mom works....they aren't supposed to allow dogs, but Mom says that the customers are WAY more likely to pee on the floor, so she's going to allow dogs up until she gets one that behaves worse than the people. I guess that hasn't happened yet. I had an awesome time. The route down there has all sorts of interesting things to smell. And I found something edible outside the store, which Mom actually allowed me to eat after establishing that it wasn't anything too wierd. And I got some lovin' from her coworker...although she didn't let me sniff his butt, silly mom. And I was a VERY good girl--I sat when I was told, and didn't harass people, and didn't pull when we were walking, and I pooped. On the way down there, I mean. I had a great day, and Mom is in a good mood, and now we are going to chill on the couch for awhile, cuz Mom has a wierd sleep schedule. I think it's time for bed, but as long as she's going to be awake I dont' object to sleeping on the couch and periodically getting lovin' for no reason.
We still need spring to come soon, though, tonight just underscores the fact that Mom and I get along much better when we get our walkies.

Well, it has been awhile since Mom actually wrote an actual diary entry for me..silly girl and her poop poems. It has been very boring around here, unless water spontaneously coming out of the walls is your idea of exciting. At least the ceiling hasn't been raining lately. The weather has been extremely bad, even I fell down on the sidewalk one time, and I have four paws! It seems like every other day we get a bunch of snow, then it gets freezing cold again..the last two weeks we have had this wierd slushy stuff that then freezes in ridges on the sidewalks and makes it all but impossible to walk. Even for me! And the snow is so deep beside the sidewalks that I fall through the top and have to kind of leap around to get anywhere. It's really not been fun at all. Neither Mom nor I is getting the sort of exercise we need, and it's driving us both...absolutely..insane. The snow was fun at first but now I am getting tired of everything being slippery and not even being able to get my bottom out of it to take a decent poop. Mom thinks my reactivity is getting worse too. We really need spring. Like, yesterday.

Every time you take a poop
I get my baggies out (they're nice and blue)
it's no problem of mine, but it's a problem I find

There's no sense in just a pee
it's fun to do but it won't set you free

for more than a day, my confusion grows

every time I see you squatting,
I get my baggies out and pray

You feel fine,we both feel good
if you're pooping like you should
but if things go astray, I just don't know what to say
Why can't you poop the way you pooped yesterday?
I'm not sure what this turd means
you've been in the trash it seems
It's not too bad yet, but we'll go to the vet
so your poo can be the way poo ought to be

One of our pals was shot and killed earlier this week. Mom and I are really sad about this.

I don't believe
in the existence
of mercy's guiding hand
after all that I have witnessed and cannot understand
forever burdened with the knowledge
that I could have been so much more
when the truth is hard to suffer
I knew this all before

There's no comfort in faith
the heavens still will fall
a thousand towers rise before me
I cannot climb them all
there's no kind of joy in this
there is no time that it can heal
with emptiness and shadow's bliss
there is nothing left to feel

And I will walk this ground forever
and stand guard against your name
I will give all I can offer
I will shoulder all the blame
I am sentry to you now
all your hopes and all your dreams
I will hold you to the light
that's what forever means.

Good gracious pups, it's been quite a week over here in the cornfields. The ceiling started magically raining again last Friday, right before mom had to go to work. So she had to turn of the water to the house--that stayed off until Sunday afternoon. Luckily she keeps a pitcher of water in the fridge to make sure her and I have some in just these sort of situations! So I had water, that was no biggie. But we have been sleeping in the living room since then. On sunday the landlord came down and cut some really tidy holes in the ceiling to try and figure out what was going on, that was sort of chaotic, cuz I REALLY hate being left out of things like that, so I was raising the biggest fuss I could, and luckily my mom's mom called her back just as things were getting really interesting and said we could go over there. Then in between that phone call and my grandma getting there, another seal broke somewhere and there was more water in the hallway! It was way exciting! There was also cussing. But I got to go to grandma's and play in the yard, so I dont' care about the rest of it. i also was allowed off leash in one specific room of the house, which was nice. I chose to take a nap, it was really nice and warm in there. I behaved really well, Mom was really proud of me. Eventually we went home, and the water was back on by that time, but the ceiling still has holes in it and that valve is still leaking a bit so we are still sleeping in the living room. Mom got bit by a spider in there on monday! At least, we think it was a spider, I didnt' see it or I would have eaten it, but I slept on top of Mom for the rest of the day just to forestall any other beasties that might have wanted a taste. Now her hand is all swollen up and stuff. Not so good. but, I do sort of like sleeping in the living room. Especially since I am allowed to sleep right with Mom if I want to. And I got a whole turkey drumstick and thigh all for myself the other night! Dang that was delicious! Mom's mom took that off the big turkey she got for thanksgiving, but she decided it was too big and so she cooked it up a little while ago and gave me the good bits! Raw, of course...I personally feel that my digestive system is more than up to cooked turkey bones, but Mom's nervous system is the ruler in this situation. And, I get a new food today! I have never eaten Orijen before, but apparently this is a kind made with fish, and I love fish, so I'm pretty excited.
It has been a good week for me, but I think the ceiling needs to resolve it's issues, I am not sure Mom enjoys sleeping in the living room as much as I do.

Won't you be my neighbor?

Hey pups, it has been a pretty slow couple weeks around here. The weather has been really cold, and Mom's a sissy, so we haven't been out and about as much as we'd have liked to be. The light fixture in the bedroom started raining last Saturday right as Mom and I were getting ready for bed, so that was pretty exciting. The landlord still isn't sure why it did that...I don't really care, cuz there was lots of activity and Mom slept on the couch so I assume the whole thing was a big party thrown just for me. That night I got to go up and hang out with the landlord upstairs too, I LOVE going upstairs. Especially since they never remember to put me back downstairs and put the gate up before they go to sleep, I managed to steal a whole bag of dog treats before Mom got home! she put a new gate up at the top of the stairs this week, it swings shut automatically. That is not so good, I think the fun may be over. We slept in the living room for 3 days until she was sure the ceiling wasn't going to get all magical again and now we can sleep in the bedroom again. Mom and I have been really enjoying the POOP thread in the GSD forum as well, I like to poop and Mom for some reason likes talking about it, so that has been working out really well. My poops lately have been super, if I do say so myself. I even have a poop picture!
Mom hasn't taken me downtown lately, which makes me sad...people always like paying attention to me downtown. She has PROMISED me that sometime this week we will go down there and she says if I am really good, I might even get to have a hot dog!
And I started wearing an Easy Walk harness instead of the Gentle Leader headcollar...Mom and I both like it much better. It is not going to teach me how not to pull or react, Mom has to do that herself, but in the meantime it allows her to get a handle on my crazazy if we do see another dog or squirrel, and it isn't going to damage my spine or trachea, apparently, which is good. speaking of trachea, Mom, you going to order some more bullysticks sometime this month? Mmmm...bullysticks....

wow, Mom has gotten really bad about pupdating my diary..no treats for you today, Mom. We had a really good Christmas. On Christmas Eve mom stayed home with me alll day, and we cooked a turkey. well, she got it ready and put it in the oven, and I ate a bullystick. But the fact that I didn't steal the turkey counts as help! I got to eat some more of my secret santa cookies too, from Vincent and Rosie. Then before she went to church, Mom put a whole bunch of new toys in a new bed in the living room...and they were all for me! I got a bed, a squeaking tug toy, an orbee ball, and a new nylabone. She took a video, but apparently we weren't supposed to have music playing=( so I can't show it. You will just have to trust me that I was a star!
Then, on christmas day, we went to Mom's parent's house. wow that was exciting! I had to stay on a leash, or in my crate, cuz I can reach counters really easy when they're full of delicious things. But I was very good, I chewed on my chewie and did what I was told and I didn't try to eat anyone's presents. And I got some more presents of my own! Mom's mom gave me a booda hedgehog that makes fun noises, and a collar charm that says "top dog" (so true!) and her brother gave me a little squirrel dude. it was great. Mom was very happy even aside from my angelic behavior, cuz she got an ipod. i dont' know what that is, except that i am NOT allowed to play with it, but she assures me it means that even more people she meets can look at pictures of my gorgeous self. So I guess that's good. Then I had to go in my crate while they ate. That i did not enjoy. I don't mind being in my crate, but it was a new place and I was downstairs and Mom was upstairs. So I had to bark a little. But eventually I gave that up, and when i did, Mom came downstairs and gave me the raw turkey neck and giblets. Oh boy! Her brother said it was gross, but I think he was just jealous. Then I got to go play in the yard....a big yard, full of LOTS of fresh snow, that no pup had ever even so much as weeed on! omd, it was like another Christmas present all by itself! I love snow! Then we went back inside, and I took a nap in my crate for awhile. some other people came over, but they didn't give me anything so poo on them. I was polite though, everyone was very impressed. then we went home, I was sooo tired after all that excitement. I hope everypup had as merry a christmas as I did!

I have tried to be good--no really, stop laughing, I have! Mom left a letter on the kitchen table last night and I didn't even chew it up. And I assume you saw me with the booties, yes? I know I still jump on people, and lunge and bark at other dogs, and the squirrels, well...I hope you're not watching those parts. But I am a good dog! I really am! I potty where I'm supposed to, and I don't chew the furniture ..well, except for the stair, and the baseboards, but those don't count right? If Mom tells me to sit, I usually do, and I can stay, and I'm really good at down. And I always try to give a warm, butt-sniffing welcome to any strange dogs that might come over to visit. And I''ll even share my tennis balls, you know how much I love tennis balls Santa. You know, Santa, I was in the shelter, and I'm not sure what happened to me before that, cuz I'm a dog and my memory is pretty short unless it involves places to pee. I just hope you don't expect too much from me, like I said, I always try to be good. Stop laughing!
Anyway, I am hoping that you will bring me
A new nylabone..either the one with the big nubbly things on the end, or the beef bone shaped one.
Some more canned food, so i can have Kong popsicles again.
Some squeakies. I really like my Cuz toys, so I think you should bring me another one.
A new bed. There's nothing wrong with my old one, but I'm a spoiled princess and deserve the best--MOM! stop making me look bad for Santa!
Santa, I hope you will believe me that I have tried to be good--STOP LAUGHING!--and I hope you will bring me something good on Christmas. I didn't eat Frosty, that should count for something right?
Sincerely,
Heidi
PS
Santa, this is Heidi's Mom. While she hasn't been a perfect dog, she really does try to be good. So I have an arrangement to propose for you. Since I have not even TRIED to be good this year, just give anything you have for me to Heidi. She is going to get it all eventually anyway. And anyways, since I got her there's nothing you could give me that would even come close. I think you should give her points for making your job easier, Santa, because I got everything I wanted the day that I got her.

The other night, we finally got some snow! Actual snow this time, not ice...the fun stuff, the stuff you can stick your nose in, and splash around in, and track into the house..ohh, it's good stuff. Today Mom and I went out in the yard (I hardly ever get to go out there, because I chew up the landlord's stuff and I take forever to potty out there anway) and I got to chase my tennis balls. My Kong ball would have been really good for this, but I left it at Grandmas house last time we were there. And the landlord's dog came out to play, and since we had two tennis balls Mom threw one of them for him..which is fine with me, I like chasing him as much as chasing the balls! That's the end of that tennis ball though, cuz once he gets ahold of one he destroys it in about two minutes. It was fun, anyway. I like snow a lot! Mom needs some better gloves though, we didn't stay out very long because she said her hands were froze. Santa, bring some more snow, and better gloves for my sissy Mom!

ICK! Winter has definitely arrived here. We had a whole day of freezing rain, snow, and sleet. Everything is frozen and slippery out now, I have to really watch my step, and I have to wear booties because of all the salt. You would think, with that much salt down, there wouldn't be as much ice, but no. I wouldn't mind if it was just snow, but it's all ice, which is no fun at all. You can't stick your nose in it, you can't bury things in it, you can't really eat it, and you fall down if you're not careful. No fun. Mom says we may get some more actual snow this week, though..yay! It is also really cold, but I don't mind that so much. Except that I don't get as long of a walk when it is really cold, Mom is a sissy. She needs a good warm coat like mine. Or maybe if she started shedding too, that would help.
I am trying to be good so that Santa Paws will bring me some good stuff. Mom says I was really good about the booties, so that should count for a lot. I also haven't torn up the carpet on the stairs this week, so I hope Santa is watching. And I didn't eat Frosty when I had my picture taken with him. So hopefully all that will balance out the other stuff I did that might, if you looked at it the wrong way, count as Naughty. I thought it was just fun, but Mom says that Santa Paws has a different idea of fun.

Yum..thanskgiving came late this year. I got to have the turkey neck for breakfast today...mom says she would have given it to me earlier but she forgot to take it out of the freezer. If she would just rig it so I can open the thing i would fix that for her. It was quite tasty, I've never eaten anything raw before. Meaty and crunchy at the same time. Mom says I will get at least one more, from the Christmas turkey, and that she will try to find some other tasty bits for me next time she goes to the store.
I also got into the trash last night, because SOMEONE forgot to latch the door to the cupboard, haha! All sorts of super chewable things in there. It would have been even better if Tuesday hadn't been trash day.
And Mom got a new vacuum. That I don't care for at all. It is big and loud and it sucks up all the fur that I've been working so hard to shed all over the house as extra insulation for the winter. But she loves it. She says she is going to take a picture of me with it and put it on my page sometime. It's name is Dyson. I don't care for Dyson one bit, but I do get something tasty in my crate everytime it comes out, so I suppose I'll have to soldier on somehow.

Howdy pups. my typist has been pretty lax on pupdating my diary since I got sick. That was actually sort of scary for a day..I didn't feel like eating, or playing with my cuz, or ANYTHING. But then, the next day, by the time the vet called Mom back, I was totally back to normal. Weird. The other scary thing that happened to me was that I got attacked by another dog a few weeks ago. That was not good. I was on my leash, sitting nicely while I waited for Mom to open the car door, and he was on a retractable leash, so he just dragged his owner over on her stomach and came after me. He sort of bit me on the mouth a little, but I wasn't really hurt, and mom was able to get me away and we went in the yard until they left. What a mean dog! Mom doesn't like those leashes, she says I'd have to have way more manners than I'm ever likely to have before she would let me use one. Humpf. I have more manners than that doggie, I'll tell you that. And I bet with one of those leashes, I could catch me some more squirrels! But Oh well.
I did manage to catch a little mouse in grandma's yard yesterday though, which was excellent. i didn't eat it or anything. I just caught it and killed it..although, in all fairness pups, it does not take much to kill a mouse. All the same, I did it! Heehee, I am officially a predator!

It was perfectly tasty, but I might have eaten something on a walk that disagreed with me, cuz not an hour after I ate, back up it came! It was still good, though, so I got to have breakfast twice, which was all right, I guess. Mom was trying to clean it up, so I was happy to be able to help her out with that. Then I had some unfortunate poops when we went for another walk. Haha, Mom was pretty pleased that I didn't slurp that up too! she was trying to keep me from kissing her, but pishposh, I don't see what the problem is. That food was barely even used!
Yay! I'm two years old today! Mom managed to get the night off of work so we could have plenty of fun for my birthday. She also got me some new toys and treats. Yummy! And now I get to sleep on the bed, too. I'm very pleased about that. For some reason she wont let me take my bullysticks up there with me, but that's ok. She also got me a clicker. i don't really know what it is, except that it doesn't appear to be edible and it makes a funny noise. But every time it makes that noise I get a treat! I think Mom needs more toys like that! And i also got some pretty stars and rosettes from my awesome friends in the german shepherd forum. That makes me happy. What would be even better is if mom would let me roll in that dead thing across the alley, but no chance of that apparently. So I guess I'll have to stick with the toys I have. Oh well.
Hi puppers! I haven't been able to persuade Mom to update my diary as much lately, she's been working a lot more than usual and I have to admit, if I have to choose between walks and dogster, I'll pick walks every time!
I know she feels bad about working so much, but it's really not that hard on me. I even got to go back to grandmas house last weekend...we weren't able to go for a while, cuz of doggy school. But they have a REAL big yard, and i get to chase my ball for HOURS..oh so much fun! It was very exciting the last time we were over there, I saw another dog that looked almost exactly like me! He was a little bigger, probably cuz he was a boy. We were barking back and forth at each other, and then he jumped his fence and I got so excited, I thought for sure he was coming over to play with me! but his family came and put him back in their yard before he could jump OUR fence. =( Mom was watching me, so I didn't dare try jumping it myself. After that handsome pooch left though, the little small hoomans that live next door came out to play. I don't really know what to think of hooomans that small..they're so loud, and shrill, and they run around and wiggle a lot...the big hoomans don't usually do that stuff unless it's really late at night, bol! But these threw my ball for me, which I appreciated, so I gave them some kisses through the fence. Then when we were leaving, they came up and wanted to pet me on my leash. I tried to show Mom that I would be calm and not scare the little thingies, so she let them pet me. They are kind of poky! One of them practically stuck her hand in my mouth! I used my best manners though, and Mom said she was very proud of me. As well she should be!

Hi! I've had a busy week so far. The other day, Mom got a whole box of tasty smoked meat products for me. There were braided bullysticks AND moo tubes (those are beef tracheas, and they are deelicious!) she let me chew on one of the moo tubes awhile before she went to work, but I really didn't feel done with it, so I pulled the treat cupboard down off the shelf and had myself a little party! I ate 3 12" braided bullysticks and 4 12" moo tubes. Boy I do love me some smoked meat product. It made me real thirsty though, so I drank ALL the water in my bowl. Then do you know what happened, pups? you guessed it...i had to go to the bathroom. I still haven't figured out how to let myself out the door, so I tried barking for awhile. (Mom found out about that, because the landlord called her at work). When that didn't get me anywhere, I jumped the 30" baby gate in the living room doorway and pooped and peed on the rug in there. That's where I had all my accidents when I first came home and couldn't help it. Mom tried to clean them up, but I can still find my spots! As long as I was going to be in the living room, I figured I might as well hide the rawhide I'd found in the the treat cupboard. So I had that in my mouth when I jumped the gate, and I found a good place for it in the couch. Then I was done in the living room, so I jumped the gate again and waited for Mom to come home and give me some more water. Boy that smoked meat does make a pup thirsty, let me tell you! I drank three big bowls of water after she got home, and then had two accidents because the silly girl didn't figure out that that would make me have to pee! Now I've had funny poop, and Mom took the tasty cow parts away and said no more for me for a while. she also put up a new gate in the living room and moved the treat cupboard. I know those bullysticks are still around somewhere, though, I can smell 'em. And when I find out where they are.....

Clearly she's just not used to a dog of my superior talents! I was pretty proud of myself. The only bad thing is, now I don't have it to play with until Mom gets me another one. That's okay, though, I'll find ways of keeping myself entertained. Like last night, I found a container of special food and helped myself to half of it! Then I chewed up the measuring cup in the container. I like to have a project to work on, you know? Well, i'm off to find new outlets for my bursts of creative genius. Later, pups!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I've been tagged by my pal Jack! So excited! So, here are the rules..
once a pooch has been tagged, they need to post the rules and the seven pawsome facts about themselves in their diary. ( I accidentally tagged some people who don't have diaries, I hope they're not mad) Then choose seven of your most terruffic pup pals to tag and list their names. Don't forget to bark them a pmail or send them a super rosette to let them know they've been tagged.
So seven things about me are..
1. I don't like Kong toys!
2. my favorite spot to sleep is on the landing of the stairs
3.I can hold a stay even when Mom does the hokey-pokey! (it's been tested!)
4.I like to chew books
5. I looove to give kisses right on the mouth!
6. Once, I actually CAUGHT a squirrel. (mom was not pleased)
7.I like broccoli!

And now I tag.

Rosie
Sam
Meg
Duchess
Levi
Daisy Mae CGC-EWC
Annie

Pawsome pups every one of them!
hooray for tag! Now to see if Mom will play tag with me...

Well, I did it! I graduated from doggy school today! It was a very fun class. Before the other doggies got there I got to play on the agility equipment, since we had to miss that class. I was very good at the tunnel! Once class started, though, it was hard for me to pay attention. During my week off, I got out of practice at working around other dogs. And they were doing such interesting things! I hope Mom finds another class that we can go to, but I guess it's hard since I am so excitable. But they gave me a milk bone and a diploma! (I tried to eat the diploma. Hey, I've HAD milk bone before!)
And I already have some pals on Dogster! That makes me so happy! This has been a really good week for me. I also got to start eating Innova dog food instead of Science Diet. Honestly I'm not picky, but the Innova does come out of my Buster Cube easier, so I'm all for it! I hope I make some more pals on Dogster so I can hear all about the exciting things other pooches are doing!

I am so excited about having a diary on Dogster! I love attention, and it makes me happy to think that people i don't even know will be paying attention to me! Yay! This is a pretty week for me so far, although I didn't get to go to doggy school on Sunday like usual. Mom said something about "agility week" and "too exciting". How can anything be too exciting? I don't understand. I like doggy school, although i admit i DO get pretty excited. I get worried when there are dogs i don't know around, especially when i'm on my leash and can't go up and sniff their butts and get acquainted properly. But I get lots of treats and attention at doggy school, so i like it. I hope we get to go next week. I don't know if Mom enjoys it as much as I do, though, after the last one she muttered something about "needing a drink" and disappeared for a few hours.
