DogAge calculates your dogs real age based on there health, personality, household, nutrition etc. It's very imformative actually but a little too "simple" in some areas for my liking. Anyway here's the results from Missy's test.. Missy's DogAge is 27.1! That's 10.9 years younger than the average DogAge for Missy's breed. Here are the DogAge benefits... Ideal weight Spayed Healthy teeth and gums No general health conditions No canine disease No infections No parasitic conditions Proper nutrition Good training and well behaved Safe yard Leash use And here are the DogAge costs... Missing vaccinations - Mum is not a believer in yearly vaccinations, so answers that question. At risk of heartworm, fleas, or ticks - Mum has never treated us. Never been treated for ticks as they are not a common problem in our area, never had fleas and never had heartworm ( again pretty rare ) Mum is not someone who uses preventative treatment for the sake of it. Smoke in the household - Bad Mum!! Although she wants to pack up in the new year :D May be lacking proper nutrition - Kind of confusing since they listed i was getting proper nutrition above! Not enough exercise - Maybe true, although mum thinks she gives us the right amount. We do get walked daily in numerous weather and i love playing with my tennis ball launcher. Aggressive behavior - Well we all know about this one :( My aggression towards other dogs is a stress to me and like human stress, it's no good! But we're working on that one ;) So all in all, not bad. The things they outlined as "bad" are actually pretty minor.
