Hi everyone, how y'all doing? I am great. I am loving the summer because I am outside all the time! There is however one thing that is annoying....... shedding...yes I am shedding my winter coat, which is very odd because I thought animals shed their winter coats in the spring, and here I am in the middle of summer, wait..... almost the end of summer (since we are almost August) and I am shedding! Mom and Dad are brushing me everyday (I love the attention) But whenever they think they got the most out of me, hahaha, I surprise them.....and shed some more, big chunks of fur! There is hair everywhere, yesterday they brushed a whole plastic bag full out of me. They have to put it in a plastic bag cause if they leave it on the drive way, it blows away and I don't think the neighbors would like to have my clumps of fur on their doorstep...it really is that much hair! And also for some odd reason, if the hair is lying around I like to to eat it...I know that sounds gross (it is) I don't know why I eat it, I just do! Maybe it's some animal instinct to clean up after myself or something. Well besides all the fur, I am enjoying the time outdoors even at night! Summer is nice! Hope you are all enjoying it too!

Summer is here and can you believe it's been a few months since my knee operation??? Wow time flies...well I was on strict "short leash" walks and supervised outdoor time, but that has all changed, I now am allowed off leash and can play in the backyard, however still supervised, they don't really let me get too riled up. But I have hit another obstacle....since I was not being as active as I usually am, my nails got really long, and one of them split down the middle. When they returned from L.A. they saw to it that it was trimmed properly, but by the time they got back from Cannes and the Monte Carlo Grand Prix my nail was infected, so back to the vet I went. They now have a 3 step treatment they have to do to my nail and surrounding area once a day, and it takes the both of them to do it, Dad has to pin me down cause it's very sore, but I like all the attention I have been getting, they won't leave me for a while now, so my evil plan has worked wha-haha! I also get to wear a booty to protect from the dirt and stuff which I'm not too keen on but I suppose it's necessary! 2 weeks of this treatment and then hopefully it will heal perfectly. As for my knee, it is sore some days, and I limp, and other days it's fine. Dad being such a sport/health nut has me on an exercise program that has me doing walking in intervals, and going to the lake, I actually don't know how to swim but I go into the water until it touches my belly. Dad however, is keen on teaching me to swim this summer, we'll see how he motivates me to do that! Thanks for all your well wishes and letters, from celebrating dad's big b-day to the jokes and funny videos, I enjoy them all, I hope you all are having a great start to the summer!!!!!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the love and support. It seems to have done the trick as I am feeling like my old self. I still have to be careful, and am still not allowed to go on walks "off leash" but I am walking on my leg like nothing ever happened to it. The pic I just posted was taken when I was on a "skype" call with my dad, when he was away for work. As you can see I am goofing around like I always do. To speed up the recovery and strengthen my leg, I am taking some fishy smelling powder, that they mix into my food every night and also have some extra vitamins to take everyday but other than that the Doc says I only need to go in if there is a problem. So good news and happy days await me!!!!!!! Hope you are all happy too, spring is right around the corner, yiiiipppppyyyyy :) :) :)

Hi everyone, first I want to say thanks for all the love and support that has poured in for my quick recovery. I must say I am doing better than what was expected. Today was actually 2 weeks since my knee band operation and I had to go back in to get the 25 stitches taken out......and have the Doc look at my progress....
He was not only happy with my progress, but says it is amazing how fast I am getting used to the new leg. I am walking on it fine, although a 10 min walk is about all I can handle at the moment, but the point is I am walking on all 4's, barely limping, and the Doc says that's very good news!!!!!!
I am sure my happy recovery is due to all the good thoughts that all of you have been thinking "up" for me, and I know that I will get better day by day. The road to a full recovery is long, it will be at least a few months before I'm aloud to run "leash free" with my buddies at the park. I am on some special powder that they have to mix into my food and am also taking pain killers to help with inflammation. I will have to be walked on "short leash" for the next 6 weeks and no rough housing with Dad, but I am confident I am on the road to a fabulous full recovery!!! Promise to keep you updated, lots of paw-hugs to you all!!!!!

Bad news guys, I'm going to the vet tomorrow to be OPERATED ON....Ok I'll back up a bit....Around Christmas time I escaped into the back yard of house. Even though there is wrought iron fencing all around the property, within the property there is a 2 foot span of wire fencing, (and that was where I decided to go through)....while doing so I got myself tangled in a small piece of fence, and was limping for a few days, but then healed.....fast forward 2 weeks after the incident I started limping again so into the vet I went.

The vet did x-rays and gave me a shot for the pain, he prescribed walks on "short leash" for a week and no jumping around......after a week I felt fine no more limping, even after a week and a half no problems, then it happened.....I was at the park, off leash, and decided to take off real fast, weeeeeeeeell while doing so, I started to yelp in pain, and then I was reeeeaaaallllllyyyy limping. Into the vet I went and the vet said I have severed a tendon in my knee and it has to be replaced with a man-made one. The operation day is tomorrow and after the operation I am on strict "short leash" walking for 2 weeks and then I start physical therapy!!!!

Morzsa had a similar operation a couple years ago, and the crappy part of the whole thing was the recovery, it was months before she put weight on that foot. Supposedly dogs are fine on 3 legs and they forget to use the 4th leg in fear that it will hurt again, you have to train them again to use that leg again, we had to put a pretty heavy weight on Morzsa's foot for a month before she even thought about using that leg, it was 6 months before she got back to normal. The only thing they are really worried about is that Morzsa is a small dog, they usually heal faster, I'm huge....I hope things go smoothly I go in Thursday (tomorrow) and get picked up the next day. Wish me luck!

HAPPPPPYYYYY NEEEWWWWWW YYYEEEAAAAARRRRRRRR everyone!!!!! Hope you all had a fabulous time over this past Holiday season, I know I did!!! I was treated to lots of goodies, I even had my own stocking at Christmas!

Now it's 2009.... can you believe it???? I am no longer a puppy (even though they still treat me like one) and it's time for New Year's resolutions and all that fun stuff! Dad has already got back to the gym, he says he ate lots of things he shouldn't have over the holidays and it's time to work it all off- now that "feasting" time is over. I told him to quit complaining, he should have just given it all to me! hehe.

I'v been very busy since New Years "rang" in, I'm doing a few projects and one of them consisted of me having to go in and do what my dad goes in for, which is called "looping" that means the sound that was taken during filming (for what ever reason) is not good enough to be used and you have to re-record just the voices. So there I was in the studio barking and growling away, it was fun. The way dad gets me to make these sounds is by playing with me, tug a war actually, with one of my favorite toys, a mini rubber tire (what's left of it anyway) The sound technician was standing right beside us with a big furry black microphone thingy, recording every single noise I made, and I made a lot of them! All in all it's been a real bang of a New Year so far, and I wish all you pals out there a fabulous 2009, with lots of adventures, fun and especially LOVE!

Wow, I want to send my high 5 "paws" to all my fellow 4 leggers out there and thanks for all the bones, rosettes, messages. I can't believe it's already winter, these past few months have gone by so fast.....lots of things have happened, are happening and will happen in the near future...that sounds silly but I guess it's just me going on about stuff I wish I could say, but can't just yet. What I can say is that my family and I are working on a bunch of projects that are moving forward according to plan. Dad's been up to "stuff".
As for the holidays that are rolling around fast we still haven't made any real plans for Chirstmas, so it's kind of going to be a last minute thing, we still don't know what country we will be in yet but I will keep you all posted. I love the holidays when we spend it together....lots of left overs...they have no choice but to hand some over my way, shouldn't go to waste LOL....Happy Thanksgiving for all those who celebrated and I promise to write soon and post pics soon.

I am super tired after a day at the lake. We went there to take pics of new stuff that arrived in a big brown box, samples of some sort (I love cardboard boxes, no matter what size, I can shred them to pieces) inside the box there were clothes, pillows, posters and more. Anyway, as they were taking pics I was running up and down the docks trying to attack the foamy wavy water (Am I the only one who finds foamy wavy water alarming?) this went on for a bit.... when all of a sudden.... I lost my balance, teeeedered and todddddered….back and forth, until I lost the battle.....and fell in the water...I panicked, and felt like I was drowning, everyone was laughing. Dad “fished” me out by my collar. I now understand that foamy water is what it is, and I should leave it that way. I felt great after, and started sprinting around taking leaps of joy and rolling around in the grass. The day finished with me rolling on the ground getting Dad all wet and stinky, so I wouldn’t be the only one with “wet dog” smell in the car ride back home!

The time has finally come, where you know summer is coming to an end. The traffic in the city is full-on again, cause everyone is back to school and work. The heat is "bearable" as oppose to mid July, and the days are getting just a tad shorter. I personally love it since the hot humid days of summer are my least favorite and I can't wait to play in the snow in winter. Everyone around here has been super busy, lots of work, projects and exciting new ventures, I might even have a few of my own!
Ok questions: I don't know if there will be any cons in NYC, that would be cool though cause I know Dad loves that city. No, I am not sure where I will be during the L.A. con, but if I'm there maybe I'll crash the party! LOL I travel a lot too, and my schedule often changes, so I don't even know where I'm going to be next week... let alone next year!
As for the new addition, Rudi. He was named after what is actually one of Dad's favorite snacks/desserts made in Hungary called a Turo Rudi (Cottage Cheese Roll). It's a very "strange" little thing so the name was quite fitting. It's hard to explain, it might even sound gross to some, but it actually tastes pretty good. (Even though I never eat any cause it's covered in chocolate). It is about the size of an index finger and is a "sweet cottage cheese roll, dipped in dark chocolate". Like the cheese that they have in some French pastries, not the kind of cottage cheese you would eat with fruit for breakfast that's a bit sour. I guess when they named me after a Florentine pastry years back, they thought they should continue with the dessert theme, and so it was pretty logical to name him after the weirdest sugar packed dessert known to man, because he is definitely very odd, and is always on some kind of sugar high! He took to his name very fast. And even though he is a major pest, he is actually quite smart and learns quickly, he already knows all the tricks I know...excpet I still do them all better!
Thanks for all the bones and hope to hear from you all soon!

First thanks for all the love and curiosity that has come my way via dogster, pls don't get upset that no more "personal" mail will go out. I have had to start answering questions in "diary" form...otherwise I would be typing all day long, repeating the same things, and since I require like 18 hours of sleep a day... that just wouldn't work, so I will try to answer all your questions but so that everyone can see them here!

It's been.... since the jump cons were canceled that I have last written, things have been so busy. I wasn't happy when the cons were canceled, I wanted to visit New Orleans, and I don't like seeing Dad upset, but he's a "roll with the punches" kind of guy so he didn't dwell on it, instead he's onto finding other ways to reach his awesome fans. New Merchandise is coming soon and he's also planning other appearances. He's also working on a bunch of new projects....I'll let you in on a secret... I might be written into one of the roles in one of his newest projects! But shhhh it's hush hush right now!

Ok more questions: No, my trainer in L.A. is not the dog whisperer, however sometimes we watch that show, that guy is hardcore cool! Yes, I am gentle when I play tug a war, actually when I play with Rudi he always wins, but it's because I let him, he's just so persistent, you know?! No, I didn't feel a thing when the earthquake happened in L.A. cause I wasn't there at the time. I wonder what it would have been like??? I hate thunder storms and fireworks, so if it was anything loud like that, I'm sure I would have barked a lot! As for climbing stairs, no, I'm not scared of heights at all, actually when they were doing construction on the new flat, I was running up and down the steps before they even had a railing up, I have 4 legs, so it's real easy to coordinate that kind of stuff!

Finally, yes it's my birthday this month, I'm a summer pup, don't know what the plans are yet but if I get a cake I'll post the pics, I usually never get a cake, mom and dad aren't into that kind of stuff but they always get me a big bone, fresh from the butcher, or a new kong or something fun like that! I'm 6 years old this month and feel great, the vet says I'm at my prime, that these are my best years, so I hope to enjoy them and many more!
Bark soon, DINO

Hi paw pals, hope everyone's wagging their tails today! First to answer a few questions: No I don't eat before travel...I did that once traveling in a cesna (4 seater plane) I was laying across the 2 back seats and as we began a turbulent descent, I started drooling, feeling dizzy...finally it all came up...and since I had eaten grass that morning as well as my breakfast....let's just say it wasn't a pretty sight, and clean up took 2 hours.

When Dad travels I almost always stay with family, see I'm a bit of a handful if you don't know me, I'll push your buttons, try to get away with murder, just cause I know you are probably intimidated by me! What can I say, I'm a rottie! But sometimes when no family is around I will stay at my old trainers places, I have one trainer in L.A. and one in Budapest, there's no monkeying around when I'm with them, but I love being there, they have lots of other dogs, mini doggie swimming pools and tones of chew toys. These are the only places I stay.....funny story when I was still young, they took me to a day care place...to cut a long story short...2 hours later I had to be picked up and never to be brought back again, yup I was banned from doggie day care! haha

As for which cons Dad will be at you can check that info out online, bark soon!

Hi all, whoa it's really hot, summer is definitely here and I have a thick black coat!!! Anyway, I would like to take the time to answer a few questions that I have been recently asked...about traveling to the upcoming cons with Dad.... I highly doubt that I will go, cause not many hotels accept guests like me and I am just too big to do that much traveling on a plane!!!! See when I travel, I'm inside my very large crate, which is fine with me as I sleep in it every night (with the door open) so I am free to sleep anywhere I want (but choose to sleep in my cozy crate).
I have to be at the airport at least 2 and a half hours before take off. Dad checks in but doesn't get his boarding pass until he goes to the ticket issuing desk and pays for my travel which is separate, they then give Dad his boarding pass. By this time I know it's time to get ready so Dad takes me out for a quickie and then over to security we go, where they scan my crate before I hop in (I always wonder what on earth they think I'm hiding in there besides a bone)!!! After I'm inside, they wheel me away from Dad, and the next time we see each other is at the other end when they wheel me out near baggage reclaim. Dad usually has to get a porter cause my kennel is too big to fit on a cart ......but there were times where there were no porters and Dad had to take my kennel apart and lay my kennel (which is in two halves) onto the cart and then lay his luggage inside the kennel. This however takes time as the kennel has to be taken apart by unscrewing around 15 nuts and bolts! It's a bit of a hassle.

As much as I would love to always be by Dad's side, it's just not in the cards, but it makes the time we spend together even more precious! (I say this without getting all mushy) LOL

Hi everyone, I thought I would update you all as to what's going on in my world these days. Well, I am super happy that I am hanging out with Dad again. He had a great Birthday and was so happy to have received so many Birthday wishes......he has the best fans ever...but "we "couldn't spend it together, so I didn't get to try any of his cake! But, I guess that's ok cause he's a chocoholic and chocolate is really bad for us pooches! Since he travels so much I don't always get to go with him. But now that we're together again we are like 2 peas in a pod. We do everything together, go for runs, long walks, tug a war and even play on the Nintendo wii together.....well, I watch!

Anyway here are some pics of us playing our morning game of TUG-A-WAR, he's pack leader, so I let go when he asks for it, but sometimes he lets me have it just for fun!!!!

Fun times being on set, lots of people were scared of me...I don't know why, don't I have an adorable face????? Actually, when I first got to set no one knew I as there yet, and I was in the trailer waiting for Dad to have a break....then in walks the 2nd AD, Murizio, or at least he opened the door without knocking, and boy did he get a big surprise when he saw my face..... eye level to his..... as I was standing by the door when he opened it. He froze for a second then immediately slammed the door on my face and that kind of scared me so I started barking my head off, it was really funny, and he certainly learned to knock before entering!!! After everyone met me they weren't scared anymore and I got lots of cuddles.
