Mommy and Daddy got married 3 years ago, today, and we've been a happy family ever since!

Since October 14th, we've been an even bigger happy family! :D~

My furless sister, Keira Colleen, was born on October 14th and I have to say, she's really pretty nice so far.
Usually if she starts getting too loud, Mommy or Daddy can pick her up and wiggle her or plug up her mouth and get her to quiet down.
She never tries to steal my kibble or my toys. And I still get to sleep with Mommy and Dad while Keira sleeps in her basket near the bed.

Yeah. It's not so bad being a big brofur! At least not so far..... bol

First, all us Tater Tots want to let our furiends here on Dogster know how much we miss you! We're really hoping that Gramma will get internet back sometime in March. *paws crossed* It's been a very long and lonely couple of months away from our pals.

Teddi Sue came over to play at my house tonight, and she brought Gramma and Grumpa to visit with Dad and Mom.
You shoulda saw Gramma's face when Dad told her and Grumpa that they're going to be grandparents come this October! She actually let out an honest to Dog "WOOHOOOO!!!!" and she did a Happy Dance! Then she latched on to Grumpa and twirled him around and they did a Happy Dance together! :D~

It's great to see Gramma and Grumpa so happy! I won't take away from their moment by telling them my exciting news. ;) If only they knew that I am going to be a Big Brofur soon.....

One year ago, on December 6, 2008, my mommy and daddy got married!
They were married at the Eugene Actors' Cabaret Theatre right here in Eugene, Oregon. Our friend, Matt, became ordained online and he performed the ceremony. He did an excellent job. We couldn't tell who was the most nervous... Mommy, Daddy or Matt! bol!
The wedding was short and very sweet, just the way Mommy and Daddy wanted it to be, and then the newlyweds were off on their honeymoon to Cannon Beach, Oregon.
The Oregon Coast is very scenic and beautiful with it's sandy beaches and rocky cliffs. While on their honeymoon, Mommy and Daddy saw the most beautiful and amazing sunset! As soon as I can get Gramma to help me find the picture, I will post it here in this entry. (It's saved to our computer - we just have to figure out where! bol )
Mommy and Daddy had a wonderful honeymoon!
This weekend, one year later, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary staying at the same hotel in Cannon Beach, walking the beach, taking pictures, shopping and just enjoying being together and in love. :)

Happy anniversary, Mommy and Daddy! I love you!

YIP-EE! I'm spendin' the night at Gramma's and Grampa's! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Yup! I get to call Glen "Grampa" now and he doesn't even get mad! I knew he'd come around sooner or later an' lighten up about that. I mean, he doesn't get bugged if Teddi Sue or Zelda Marie call him "Daddy".

That's pawsome news, but that isn't even the grrreat action that I wanna woof about! I'm spendin' the night with my sisfurs! *jumps up and down, tail wagging furiously* YIP-EE!

All four Tater Tots together fur a night of action-packed, fun-filled adventures! Furst, we got to race around and play outside fur a bit. Then we played some more inside while the peeps went out fur Mexican food. Too bad Gramma remembered to put a bunch of stuff all around the desk so I couldn't jump up there and find some good stuff to get into and eat or ruin. But we had fun anyway. Gramma always makes sure we have plenty of pawsome toys and sueaky stuffies to kill.

Oh, btw, I learned how to catch my stuffies in mid-air! That, along with knowing my "high-five" and my "double high-five", pretty much convinces Grampa that I'm pretty smart and waaaay kewl! *puffs up chest*

Oh, but I digress! Back to the sleepover. We played some more and slept a little. Gramma gave us our dinner, then we all scored a couple of those teeny, tiny little bone-shaped biscuits. They're tiny but they're good!!!

Whenever I spend the night at Gramma's, Gramma and all four of us Taters all snuggle up on the couch together, with a big, fluffy quilt, and we get to sleep together all night long! Grampa says he doesn't think he can fit, so just Gramma sleeps with us. :)

Everyone else is already sleepin', so I better get in there and find a good snuggle spot by Gramma. I usually get the spot right up near her face, in front of her chest, so she can hug me. My Gramma sure loves me! *big smile*

I hope all my pals are havin' a furbulous a night as I am! G'night!

Well, I'll be doggoned! I have finally been Tagged! *happy dance* My absowoofly gorgeous furiend, Holly got me! I just can't believe it!!! All my furmily has been Tagged several times, as The Tater Tots and also individually - but this is my furst time ever!!! Thanks fur Tagging me, Holly! Ya sure know how to make a pup feel special! *chest puffs up*

Here are the rules of the game:

Furst of all, I am supposed to list 7 of my absowoofly favorite things, then I'm supposed to Tag 7 of my furiends, kitties or pups, so they can join in the fun! Furiends should be Tagged either by woofing them a pawmail, or by sending a fun rosette.

Here are my 7 favorite things......

1. My peeps! I looove my peeps and I just wouldn't know what to do without them! Especially my mommy. *swoons*

2. Hmmm... another of my faves is..... my sisfurs, Teddi Sue and Zelda Marie. I used to live at Gramma and Glen's *rolls eyes* house until my mommy and daddy moved into a place of their own. Now I get to go over to Gramma's and visit my sisfurs almost every single weekend and sometimes during the week, too.

3. Squeaky stuffies! Those are most defurnitely on my top 7 list! I looove to squeak, squeak, squeak then kill 'em! There's just nothing quite as fun as nibbling a little hole and ripping the stuffing out!

4. Any kind of treat or cookies. Yup! I think that must be on most everyfur's top 7 list! Mommy and Daddy are a little bit stingy when it comes to letting me have treats. I do best in the goodie depawtment when I'm over at Gramma's house! ;)

5. I also really love to sleep under the covers with Mommy and Daddy when we go to bed at night. I feel all nice and snuggly safe and warm all curled up by my mommy's legs when I go to sleep at night.

6. Ya know those little foam rubber earplugs that people use when they use loud machinery? Some are yellow and then I've also tried the purple ones and green, too. Aaah, yes! Earplugs are YUMMY! Gramma gets mad at Daddy fur leaving his earplugs around 'cuz it scares her alot when I poop and it's mostly earplugs! She always makes the funniest face and says "Eeeeeeew! Link! You have to stop eating earplugs, Yicky! You're gonna get a tummy ache!" Aw, come on, Gram! They're yummy! Soooo chewy and squishy! Yeah! *high-paw*

7. Okay! My seventh and final favorite thing is going fur a nice, long walk! It's so much fun to sniff all the sniffs and see all the people! Everyone always wants to pet me and give me yubbies. And Momma's been listening to Cesar, the dog whisperer, and helping me to learn to be a pawlite an' pleasant walking partner. It makes taking a walk even more fun!

Now, it's time fur me to choose 7 furiends to Tag so they can have fun, too! Here are the 7 furiends I choose to Tag.....

1. Lil Man

2. My celebrity furiend, Tucker. He's in a magazine called The Chihuahua Connection. He's in the Fall issue and will be inn the Holiday issue, too! An' Tucker lives right here in Oregon! Just about 18 miles from my house! Kewl, huh?! Way to go, Tucker!

3. Sisco's Sir Benjamin Charles

4. Damon

5. Smuckers, a very special pup. It would be really pawsome, and I'd be sooo happy, if everyfur would go and sniff his page and end him a PPR. Pawlease pawmail me if you'd be interested in helping me try to help Smuckers.

6. Nikita Sophia. Poor sweetie just had major knee surgery and caught pneumonia, too. :( Maybe we could all send her some yubbies and some bones or a pretty fur her page. ♥.

7. Tinker Belle NPC. She's the one who made such a beautiful picfur to show PotP and support fur Sassy's daddy. Very nice, Tinker Belle! What a sweetie-pie. (((HUG)))

I hope you all have fun! Thanks fur playing Tag with me!

Well, looks like the pawty's over fur me.

I usually go over to Gramma's house every day during the week. I go hang out with my sisters while all the Peeps are at work, earning money to buy us Tots our bones and stuffies.
Well, I haven't been over to Gramma's fur the past week. And fur the past week the furmiliar little pile of dog poop hasn't been waiting inside the front door fur Gramma and Glen *rolls eyes* when they come home from work.

Fur a year my sister, Zelda Marie, has been taking the blame. Hey... well. Sorry, Zeldy. It was good while it lasted.

A Dog Dictionary

LEASH: A strap which attaches to your collar, enabling you to lead your person where you want him/her to go.

DOG BED: any soft, clean surface, such as the white bedspread in the guest room or the newly upholstered couch in the living room.

DROOL: Is what you do when your persons have food and you don't. To do this properly you must sit as close as you can and look sad and let the drool fall to the floor or better yet, on their laps.

SNIFF: A social custom to use when you greet other dogs. Place your nose as close as you can to the other dog's rear end and inhale deeply, repeat several times, or until your person makes you stop.

GARBAGE CAN: A container which your neighbors put out once a week to test your ingenuity. You must stand on your hind legs and try to push the lid off with your nose. If you do it right you are rewarded with margarine wrappers to shred, beef bones to consume and moldy crusts of bread.

BICYCLES: Two-wheeled exercise machines, invented for dogs to control body fat. To get maximum aerobic benefit, you must hide behind a bush and dash out, bark loudly and run alongside for a few yards; the person then swerves and falls into the bushes, and you prance away.

DEAFNESS: This is a malady which affects dogs when their person want them in and they want to stay out. Symptoms include staring blankly at the person, then running in the opposite direction, or lying down.

THUNDER: This is a signal that the world is coming to an end. Humans remain amazingly calm during thunderstorms, so it is necessary to warn them of the danger by trembling uncontrollably, panting, rolling your eyes wildly, and following at their heels.

WASTEBASKET: This is a dog toy filled with paper, envelopes, and old candy wrappers. When you get bored, turn over the basket and strew the papers all over the house until your person comes home.

SOFAS: Are to dogs like napkins are to people. After eating it is polite to run up and down the front of the sofa and wipe your whiskers clean.

BATH: This is a process by which the humans drench the floor, walls and themselves. You can help by shaking vigorously and frequently.

LEAN: Every good dog's response to the command "sit ", especially if your person is dressed for an evening out. Incredibly effective before black-tie events.

BUMP: The best way to get your human's attention when they are drinking a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

GOOSE BUMP: A maneuver to use as a last resort when the Regular Bump doesn't get the attention you require . . . especially effective when combined with The Sniff. See above.

LOVE: Is a feeling of intense affection, given freely and without restriction. The best way you can show your love is to wag your tail. If you're lucky, a human will love you in return.

So! The US Olympic Track & Field Trials are happening here in Eugene at Hayward Field! Pretty exciting stuff! It began two days ago and downtown has been hoppin'. Gramma and Glen (he doesn't wanna be called "Grampa"...HMMPH!) took Teddi Sue a walk downtown the other night and they had lotsa fun. I could smell all kinds of interesting smells on Teddi yesterday. I wish I coulda gone with them. *pout*
But, get this! Last night and tonight we've been having pawsome thunder and lightning storms!!!!! Woohooo!!! We don't usually get much of that around here so it's pretty exciting fur me!
I wonder if it's Sammy J and Arthur and Wilson up there struttin' their stuff - tryin' to help our city impress all the tourists that are here fur the Olympic Trials?! That's what Penny Ann says. She's an old furt so she pawbably knows.
I'm really happy fur Sammers now that he can run like he loves to on all four legs again. And Arthur! I'll bet he's lovin' feeling like a young buck again - all strong and healthy. He's pawbably chasing Wilson on his bicycle, paying him back with a giant super-soaker! BOL! Those pups are making quite a light show fur us down here!
I'm gonna run outside and woof at the sky and say "HEY!" to my pals at The Bridge!

Mother's Day was lots more fun this year! This is only the second time I've been around to celebrate Mother's Day, but it was the very best ever!!! Last year my human brother was in the Air Force, living on Okinawa. "Too far away!", Momma said. And my littermate, our sister Teddi Sue, had been stolen, hundreds of miles from home, 3-4 weeks before. We didn't know where she was and soooo many of our Dogster and Catster furiends were doing a massive SAR mission fur her. Thank Dog, our furiends were pawsomely successful! Austin and Teddi Sue are both home now. And fur good!

Mom and Dad took me over to Grandma's and I stayed there and played with Teddi Sue, Zelda and Penny while they took Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Austin out fur a nice dinner. Of course, that was after the humans all just relaxed and visited and laughed a bunch. We all got lots of scratches, belly rubs and yubbies. We got to tear around the house and out in our pen for hours! We got Grandma to let us out and back in at least 30 times! Bwahahaha!

Yup. It is absowoofly much better and lots more fun to have all the kids home fur Mother's Day.

I hope all of my pals and their families had as pawsome a day as ours did!

I think there should be a law protecting us pooches from having to go outside to poop when it's colder than....say, oh... 55 degrees. Of course certain pups, like maybe Samoyeds, Huskies, maybe even Pomeranians, may disagree. I mean, they have nice thick, fluffy fur so it might even feel good to them to get out into the brisk, fresh air fur a few minutes. But us MinPins, Chi's, Rat Terriers and such... NO WAY! Right now it's coooold and foggy and, well frankly, I don't wanna drag my little hiney out there into the night and "Go potty like a good boy!". Nope. So, sorry Gramps, but ya jus' better watch where ya step when you come downstairs in the morning.
Well, goodnight, everypup. I'm goin' to go snuggle under the blankie with Teddi Sue and Zelda now. *ambles off to the doggie bed near the woodstove*

Woohoooo!!! This weekend, Mommy and Daddy are celebrating their annifursary so I get to spend the whooole weekend at Gramma's house with my sisters!!! *chases tail, gets dizzy, stumbles*
I sure have missed not living there with Teddi Sue, Zelda Marie and Penny Ann. I even miss Rosie, our sometimes-grouchy kitty sister!
See, Mommy and Daddy got their own apartment back in September, and now I just get to go visit at Gramma and Grampa's sometimes. I like my new home, okay...I just really, really, REALLY miss my sisters and Gramma!
I always get to stay at Gramma's when both Mommy and Daddy have to work. My pawents are pretty cool about not makin' me stay home all alone, with only my feather brother fur company. I can't even play with him, 'cause he's always in his cage. He'd pawbly jus' bite me anyway. He's cute, but he's meaner 'n heck!
Well, gotta go pack my ruff-el bag! Bark at ya later!

HOT DOG! I think I had just about as much fun yesterday as I've ever had in my whole life!
Gramma took Zelda Marie and me to the new dog pawk near Ziggy Moonbeam's house! We didn't see Ziggy there, but there were pawbly at least 20 other dogs there!

There were all kinds of dogs there! A couple of cute li'l Corgi's with their short li'l legs, like Penny Ann's! There were several JRT's there, but none were our wunnerful pal, Ziggy. There were weiner dogs and Labs, a Shar Pei (Um, I think that's how to spell it...) *scratches head* There were a few Pugs - one who snuck out the gate and had his owners chasing him all through the neighborhood! There were Terrier mixes and a poodle and lotsa Heinz 57's. Amazin' how cute those li'l Heinz 57's can be! The doggy I really hit it off with the best was a grrrreat big Great Dane! He was HUUUUUGE! We ran around and chased each other and just had the most pawesome time!

Gramma said she's "kickin' her butt" fur not bringin' the camera! I don't really unnerstand that! What good will it do fur her to kick her butt? An' why is she kickin' her own butt, instead of someone else's? Hmmm. Go figger.

Well, this week , when Saturday gets here, Mommy and Gramma are going to take all four of us Tater Tots! to the dog pawk! Woohoooo!!! That's gonna be a blast! I can hardly wait! And who knows??? Maybe this time Ziggy Moonbeam will be there!

Mommy finally called Gramma back last night at about 1:40 a.m. Gramma had to peel her face off of the mouse pad to answer the phone. *giggle*

Furst thing the doctor did was hook me up to an IV. Mommy told him about the chocolate chip scone I stole from Gramma and the doctor said that I had all the classic symptoms of chocolate poisoning. The doctor told Mommy that it was a good thing her and Daddy rushed me to the hospital as soon as they knew I was sick. It was well past midnight, but if they had waited until morning, I could have slipped into a coma... or worse!

So, the doctor did a bunch of stuff to me, including putting charcoal... in my tummy??!! Then I had to stay overnight so they could monitor me and keep me on the IV. Mom didn't tell Gramma each thing the doctor did, and Gramma is the one who types fur me, but we're thinkin' it musta been some pretty important stuff since my bill came to $626 !!! *gulp* But, like Gramma says, that's a very small price to pay to save my life! I love Gramma and I know she loves me, too. I'm real sorry I stole her scone *hangs head*... but it sure tasted good! I guess I'm glad now that Grampa took it away before I got to finish the whole thing! Grampa didn't now how sick I could get from all that dark chocolate, or he woulda telled Gramma 'bout it right away! I guess he was tryin' to do me a favor by not tellin' Gram, cuz we both know she woulda been pretty mad at me fur climbin' up on the kitchen table an' stealin' her scone. *cringes* I love Grampa... and I know he loves me too.

I got to go back home today (well, actually yesterday, cuz it's after midnight now) and I'm soooo happy to be back in my own house with my mommy and daddy and my crazy feather brother. I'm feelin' jus' grrreat, but I think I'd do it again, if I had the chance! *BLUSH* That scone was yummy!

Today I stayed with my sister's at Gramma and Gramp's house while Gramma and Gramp and Mom and Dad went to a wedding in Salem.
When Gramma got home tonight, I telled her, "Uuugh. I'm sick, Gramma."
I wouldn't get up or do anything at all except just lay in a little ball and shake and cry. Gramma took me out to potty, but I just stayed in my little ball, shaking and crying.
So now I'm on my way to the Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Springfield. I sure hope the doctor can fix me up. This is noooo fun at all. Gramma wonders if the chocolate scone, that I stole from her and ate (half), might be pawt of the pawblem. It has chocolate chips and dark chocolate swirled on top.
I hope the doctor figgers it out quick, cuz Gramma won't go to sleep tonight 'til Mommy calls to give her a doctor's report.
I'll woof again an' let ya know. G'night.

Yesterday I went over to Gramma's fur awhile so Mommy and Daddy could go shoppin'. I don't do very well when I have to stay home alone. I'm so used to havin' my sisters with me... and I miss 'em sooo much! So, it's grrreat when I get to go back "home" to Gramma's and Gramp's and play with Teddi Sue, Zelda and Penny.
Weeeell... yesterday Teddi Sue and I were jus' havin' a grrreat time runnin' 'round the house and gettin' crazy, when we spotted something jus' waaay too interesting to ignore. It was shiny an' pretty an'... well, we jus' hadda chew it up! Turns out it was some medicine fur humans an' after awhile we started gettin' rumbly in our tummies. *blaaah* I frew up 5 times in the living room an' then I was all shaky an' feelin' pretty awful. Teddi didn't seem to feel quite as awful, but we both tried to poop and couldn't. Gramma an' Mommy were watchin' us both real close fur the rest of the day an' last night.

Good news! It's after 7 ;00 p.m. now an' we're both feelin' better! Woohooo!!!! We both pooped an' back to eatin' our Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover's Soul!
Mom's sure happy.... but she can't be as happy as we are! *whew!*

Today Mom and Dad loaded me up in the car with all my toys an' my li'l bed an' our kitty condo an' took me to a place called 'our new apartment'. Hmmm. I'm not sure 'bout this! It's goin' to be sorta lonely without Teddi Sue an' Zeldy an' Penny. I'm goin' to miss my gramma an' grampa, too! Gee. It's very strange! One day I'm perfectly happy in my home with all us Tater Tots an' Rosie, an' Bird, an' Gramma an' Grampa an' my daddy an' mommy... then suddenly, I'm here living in a new apartment with Mommy an' Daddy an' Bird! I'm really goin' to miss sleepin' with Gramma an' all my sisters! I'm goin' to miss playin' with all my sisters every day. Gramma told me I can come back an' play anytime I want, an' I can even spend the night! I love my Gramma! I'm her 'Yicky Boy'! That's cuz I looove to lick her! I hope she comes to visit me an' brings my sisters, too. My new apartment is right across the street from a brand - new dog park! An' our good pal, Ziggy Moonbeam lives right by the dog park, too! Gramma says all us Tater Tots can go to the dog park an' maybe Ziggy can meet us there an' play with us!!! That sounds like fun. I guess moving isn't all bad, but I know I'm goin' to be missin' my sisters alot! I better get busy an' plan out some fun times fur all of us. I'll keep ya posted on how it's goin'. Gotta go to sleep now... in this.... new apartment. G'night.

Boy! I sure am a lucky pup! I'm so happy that I have this nice furever home. I'm especially lucky to get to live with my twin sister, Teddi Sue, furever! And our big sister, Zelda Marie is here, too! Mommy and Daddy love Zelda sooo much that they wanted more pups from Reba and Tiger! Mommy says that we are beautiful and smart and very loving! Every day she jes' has to smile and give us lotsa kissies cuz she thinks we're such good li'l tots! Teddi Sue is completely potty trained already and I'm workin' on it real hard. I hardly ever have an accident in the house anymore. If I do, it's usually cuz Mommy doesn't listen when I tell her I gotta go! Darn Mommy! I need a li'l help here, Mom!!!! I'm jes' a baby, ya know!
My ears were up soooooo beautiful... then... PLOP!!!! The left one fell down! Mommy says not to worry cuz she's pretty sure it's gonna stand back up again. But even if it doesn't, that's okay. She says I look super cute... uh, er. I mean HANDSOME with it floppin' down. She says it gives me character. *puffs up li'l chest* Oh, and my friend, Vincent, (he's a big, strong GSD), he woofed that his ears were up and down furever and now they are jes' the most pawesome ears any pup could ever hope fur!!! I love Vincent! He's such a grrreat friend! *big grin*

My darling, beautiful Aurora has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I feel like this is only a very bad dream and soon I will awaken and everything will be okay again. But I know that isn't so. A terrible tragedy has taken baby Aurora from her family who loves her so much, and from me and her other Dogster friends who love and care about her.
I was the happiest pup in all of Dogsterland the day that my sweet, li'l Aurora woofed that she would love to be my Valentine. It only got better from there. I was so nervous and scared, but I took a deep breath and woofed her to be my special girl furever. She was sooo happy and excited and she thought I would never ask! Imagine that! And I was afraid she would woof me down!
Now, just days after I found the true love of my life, she has been taken on her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Princess Aurora always was an angel and I believe that is why God has taken her to Heaven. She will watch over her family and her friends. She will be in every ray of sunshine, every soft, summer breeze, every cool raindrop that falls. She will be the sweet music in the song of a bird, and the fragrant petals of a beautiful flower.
I will miss my sweet angel baby, but I will hold her love close in my heart furever. She was and is the most beautiful angel in Heaven and on Earth. I love you, sweet Aurora. Thank you for giving your love to me.

Life is good! I got to come home to my furever home five days ago and I am just lovin' it! I'm the smallest of all of us fur babies. Even my twin sister, Teddi Sue, weighs almost a 1/2 pound more than I do. That's alot, considering I only weigh 2.6 pounds! Not only am I the smallest, but I am also the only boy!Even though I am tiny, I really hold my own during playtime! Mommy calls me 'little tuff guy'.
So, here at home, I have three pup sisters and a kitty sister. Zelda Marie is my and Teddi's full fur sister, but she is from an earlier litter. Zelda is 8 and 1/2 months old. She is a pawesome playmate! She just adores Teddi and me! She plays real well with us and Mommy hardly ever has to remind her to be gentle. Penny Ann is just starting to warm up to us little babies. Mommy thinks she's trying to make sure that we understand just who the alpha dog is ! Well, I think we all can tell already so she doesn't have to keep biting our heads off! hehehe! Today Penny actually wagged her tail at me and Teddi so we know that she's starting to accept us.
The kitty. Rosie. She is pretty and soft and very brave! I found out why she feels so confidant yesterday! That girl can SLAP!!! Woohoooo! I don't think I'll be bugging her while she's trying to sleep anymore! hehehe! YOUCH!
The only thing that hasn't been perfect was the visit to the doctor. He said that I had wormies in my tummy! YUK!!! He gave me medicine and now I don't have wormies anymore! YAY!!! Now Teddi and I are taking medicine cuz we have some other little buggies in our tummies. Something called Giardia and Coccidia. We've been taking the medicine fur two days and we feel sooooo much better! Even our little poopies are looking like real poopies now! YAY!!!
All in all, I think I am about as happy and lucky as a little pup can be! Now it's time fur a nap!
