Last Sunday morning I was shivering and mom covered me up with blankets and moved me near the heater. Last night, barely a day later, I woke up panting and was too warm and mom had to let me down off the bed so I could drink water. I was restless last night cause I was too warm. (Mom’s scheduled groomings for me and Shakey for Saturday btw.) What’s up Mother Nature? I thought we were pals! One day you’re making me shiver and the next day you’re making me overheat.
Mom took me and Shakespeare to the indoor Pet Expo this past Saturday. We’ve been going for a few years, even before we moved here. Heck, I was even in the fastest tail contest a couple years ago – I did not win cause I do not do anything anyone tells me to do. I do what I want! Anypaw! We were walking around and there was a booth for a “Virginia Alliance for Potbellied Pigs” group. Well a piggy on a leash came near me and sniffed at me, so I sniffed back at it, and let me tell you, it did not smell like bacon! Of course I BARKBARKBARKED at it! I put my front paws down and backed up and BARKBARKBARKED! Mom says I looked like the pig freaked me out, but she did a terrible translation! I was telling the piggy it needed to go be made into bacon treats right away! (No, mom, that is not mean!)

Oh yah, and do you know my mom doesn’t like bacon?!? She is crazy! Oh well, more bacon for everyone else!

Me and mom went to the vet’s office yesterday so I could get bloodwork done before my teeth get cleaned on Monday. We’re waiting in the lobby and a nice lady who tells mom she has a schnauzer too, the lady oohhs and ahhhhs over me, as of course everyone should do. So naturally I jump on the nice lady and she pets me, and then, BOL, then she tells mom “she doesn’t seem like the type that barks a lot.” BOL BOL BOL!!! Mom replied “actually it’s the complete opposite.” Wait a sec! Ok, ok, it’s true. And I proved it cause the lady’s schnauzer girl came out into the lobby and I barked and barked my head off at her! Then her schnauzer barked, and she and mom shrugged all like “yep, schnauzers, what are ya gonna do?!?” BOL

I don’t look like I bark a lot, funniest thing I’ve heard all year! BOL!

Me and Shakey wrote about our misadventures at the v-e-t but mine were way worse. The v-e-t poked and prodded around my eye, which doesn't have goop coming out of it anymore but it still annoying the heck outta me and I gotta paw at it. Grr! Mom's been giving me eyedroppies since then and that annoys me too. I dunno how my cousin Sam puts up with it all the time! Maybe if mom gave me more treats… Anypaw!

Cause I'm still model-thin, BOL, the v-e-t also tested my pee and blood yet again. I'm having trouble reading mom's notes here - you'd think a squirrel wrote this mess! So, ok, there was a little blood and a little protein in my pee, which would mean bladder stones, but I'm not having trouble peeing and I don't need to more than usual, so the v-e-t told mom to just keep an eye on my plumbing.

My ab-u-men level was still low "barely within normal", a 2.6, but it was up from a 2.4 from my results last month. V-e-t says that means I'm probably not losing protein in my urine or it’s not pawsistent at least.

My glob-u-len level was still high. Appawrently this can be a sign of increased antibodies which means something's stimulating my immune system.

My CPK levels are elevated.. mom wrote this is a muscle enzyme, and elevated levels mean something is acting on my muscles. The v-e-t said normal levels are between 300-900 and mine is 2900. Wow. Wait, mom wrote that the v-e-t told her he once saw a Jack Russell with CPK levels of 30,000, and that doggy had a rare disease in which the body attacks the muscle tissue. Poly-something or other. V-e-t says this can be diagnosed in a muscle biopsy, but since it's rare he doesn't recommend doing that now. Whew!

And one of my liver enzymes is up. But all my other vital signs are normal, so that's good.

V-e-t reminded mom that he and our howlistic v-e-t had noticed my lymph nodes are enlarged, which means my lymph nodes are being reactive, which means immune system is overreacting to something, and maybe a lymph node aspiration could tell them something.

Yah, there's a lot of vagueness here, both in mom's notes and what dots the v-e-t can connect. V-e-t says the gist of it is that I have a high CPK, I look and feel like I have muscle wasting (weight loss), and there's evidence of stimulation to my immune system, but there's no obvious reasons why. And the poly-whatever muscle disease is really rare so I dunno.

V-e-t recommended a lymph node aspiration in a couple weeks. Oh, and for mom to keep "pushing the groceries" and beef me up with treats (beef treats!).

Woof! Thanks to all my pals for my barkday presents! I have the bestest pup pals!!!

I need to get mom to fix my Dogster info cause my barkday is actually May 21. That's ok cause I got to pawty for another day! We didn't pawty too much though. We only had a short walk cause it was sprinkling. I got Wellness Chicken Stew for breakfast and Merrick Venison Stew for dinner. We ate lots of treats like chicken jerky and beef jerky (good brands like Zukes cause only the best fur us! And frozen pizza for mom, BOL!). Mom even baked biscuits and used her schnauzer and bone-shaped cookie cutters. We didn't eat but a bite of those cause we were full and napping! Yah, yah, we're a house full of seniors, BOL! (It's funny cause it's true! Me and Shakey are 10 and doggy roomate Bela is 10 or 11.)

Which all reminds me of a conversation I overheard a few weeks ago. Mom and human roommate had some friends over, and one of them had a human baby named Sophie. Mom was rocking Sophie in her carrier thingy (and even making goo-goo eyes, but mom'll deny it, BOL), and she remarked how she didn't feel any maternal instinct doing that. Moms' friends all LOLed! They said you have lots of maternal instinct, look at how you treat your dogs! BOL! Mom does call us her furkids and spoil us and she does carry me like a baby up and down the stairs. Uh oh mom, BOL!

Ok, I'm not really a runway model, altho I am photogenic and look pretty in anything! Woof! Mom says I've been "skin and bones" these past few weeks, which in human terms means I could be a runway model, right?!? BOL! Mom's been trying to fatten me up with extra treats, but it hasn't been working. So yet again she took me to the *sigh*.. v-e-t.

This vet is a new vet in our new city, but it's the same office our howlistic vet works out of. They weighed me, and I've lost .8 lbs since I was there 6 weeks ago. I'm a tiny 10 pounder (who ever heard of a 10lb mastiff?!? I think they left off a "0"!), so the vet said that much weight on a "tiny" (BOL!) dog like me isn't good.

So the vet checked me out, and he agreed with the howlistic vet that the lymph nodes on my hind legs are a little swollen. But none of my other lymph notes are swollen, so the vet said the hind leg swelling wasn't necessarily a sign of *whispers* lymphoma. He told mom dogs he's seen with that are really ill, and I haven't been *knock paw on wood*.

Anypaw! My appetite is fine and there's no change in the amount of water I drink, and I don't have any extra urka gurkas or *privacy please* problems. So that meant they did some tests. *sigh* I don't have parasites (I get heartguard the 1st of each month, duh!) or lyme disease.

They also tested my pee (mom thanked dog that she didn't have to get that sample!). I don't have glucose in my urine, so no diabetes. But the vet said there was a little blood in the sample, which is a non-specific sign of inflammation. There was also an "intermediate" level of struvite crystals, which could mean bladder or kidney stones (shout out to Fizzy, BOL!), but the vet said some in the urine is normal. The vet had mentioned to mom at the appointment that I might have a problem with malabsorption, and protein would show up in my urine, but my test results showed my microalbu..er.. protein levels were normal. So there wasn't anything "glaring" in my urinalysis at least. (Mom got scared when the vet said he'd seen similar signs in dogs who ended up having *whispers* bladder tumors. But I'm not showing any other signs of that, so *knock paw on wood*.)

So fur now, the vet said to give me as much food and treats as I want to see if I can put on weight. Canned yummy goodness all week, arooo! Vet also told mom to keep an eye on my plumbing, like I have a flushing mechanism or something, BOL. He wants me back in a week to check my weight and repeat my bloodwork.

Oh, one of mom's friends on the book of faces suggested feeding me bacon to fatten me up, wouldn't that be yummy!! But mom said no way cause it's not good for me. Geez!

Seriously, I do! Mom was petting me and said she could feel my hipbones and that I needed to gain some weight. I don't think too many pups ever hear that! I was only 10.8 pounds when I was weighed a couple weeks ago, and I should be 11 or 12 pounds. What can I bark, I'm not very food motivated. I'm only motivated for certain treats, like Charlee Bears (only 3 calories per treat, so I need LOTS! BOL!) and peanut butter and ok, most other treats. Pawsome, mom just put a handful of Charlee Bears in front of me. Shakey and Bela only got two, and I got a bunch. I need to gain weight, lucky me! Woof!

But I'm on bed rest with good drugs, BOL! Seriously though, the nice howlistic vet pushed and pulled on my leg, and poked and prodded at my back and hind quarters. She couldn't find anything wrong by doing that, altho she felt swelling below my knee. So she did xrays and nothing stood out, which was good cause that means she didn't see tumors or breaks or anything (whew! *knocks paw on wood*!). Her well-educated guess was that I hurt or sprained my cruciate ligament cause lots of little (little?!?!) pups like me do that a lot. And cause I had some swelling. So she gave me pain meds with anti-inflammatories and told mom I should have lots of bed rest. She told mom to "baby me," which mom is pawsome at! And of course which I like, except for those times when I want to assert my independence.

The howlistic vet also did senior bloodwork on me cause apparently I'm a senior (I don't look a day over 5, geez!). All my bloodwork came back good, woof!

I also made a new friend with a Great Dane who was waiting in the lobby with her dad. It's cause we're both the same size, BOL!

Mom and I are taking a short road trip tomorrow so I can see the howlistic vet and doggy chiropractor. Shakey's seen her before and says she's nice and helpful. I've been having what mom calls "hind quarter weakness", meaning I walk ok but I can't get my lazy butt out of bed, BOL. Seriously tho, it's been kinda hard for me to stand up after I've been laying down for a while. Mom helps me up. When I stand I'm ok, and once I start walking I'm ok too. Except there's been times this week when I won't put weight on one of my legs. So mom's gonna see if I need to be chiropracted like Shakey has been.

Between you and me, pups, I don't like these hardwood floors. I slip and sometimes lose my footing and sprawl on the floor. Mom thinks that might be what's causing my back issues. She says she's gonna buy more rugs. I don't like the stairs to the second floor either, but mom carries me up and down so that's ok.

Me and Shakes have also had tummy troubles the past few days. I had urka gurkas a couple times, and Shakey sometimes won't eat and he'll be kinda lazy. Mom can tell we're having tummy troubles so she's been boiling chicken to mix with our kibble. She doesn't know what could be causing our tummy troubles. Could be weather, or our new surroundings, or fleas and flea meds. We dunno. :(

Oh yah, we also had a few fleas on us earlier this week. :( Mom put Advantage on me and Shakey. That's the only med that works on me and doesn't make me sick (or maybe it has been? I dunno), but mom saw a couple more fleas on me yesterday. I guess a dog friendly city means fleas, which none of us like at all! And we can't spray anything in the grassy areas cause it's city property and lots of people walk their dogs there and stuff.

Yah, mom's been worried about me and Shakey lately.

This new city life does have its perks. The human roommate is home sometimes during the day and lets me sit in his lap and gives me lots of pets. And we do go on lots of walks, and there's always dogs and espawcially people to bark at. Mom says she's gonna find the dog parks and we're gonna visit them on a regular basis, so hurry up with that mom!

I was having none of it though, so he didn't groom me. The vet checked me out though cause one of my wounds was looking icky. She cleaned it up and gave mom more meds and is making me wear the dreaded cone of shame until the biggest wound closes up. Merry Christmas to me, geez!
Woof! Thanks Dogster for choosing me as a diary pick today! Hi to my new pals!

My pal Zoe told mom she needed to update my diary to let everypup know how I'm doing. Mom hasn't had too much time this week cause she started a new job, tried to get caught up on howliday shopping (she still had to get us pawresents!), and kinda tried to unpack and settle in to the new place. She's been walking me and Shakey separately for the most part cause I hadn't been able to go on long walks until the last few days (mom wouldn't let me). Mom's also been busy taking really good care of me. She's been hand feeding me and cleaning up my wounds and carrying me up the stairs to snuggle with her every night. Not that she needs to carry me up the stairs cause I can do it by myself now, geez! I've been pretty much back to my spunky, independent self over the last few days. I want to go on longer walks, except mom won't let me, and it's cold and mom won't put a sweater on me cause of my wounds. Mom makes me wear the cone of shame when she leaves the house so I won't bother my wounds. I can't wait to never, ever have to wear that again. Sweaters will be ok though cause it's cold. (Which means time for Santa Paws!)

I'm still getting along with Shakespeare and my doggie roommate Bela. Bela is a totally submissive pit bull mix and she knows I rule to house, so she's good, BOL. I have mom's roommate, Bela's pawrent, wrapped around my cute little paws too. Woof! Of course mom's got me literally eating out of the palm of her hand, BOL.

As fur the doggy that attacked me and mom, he's been doing a 10 day quarantine at animal control. His owner has never come by to apologize to me or mom or reimburse mom for my vet bills. Mom's talking to a lawyer now.

Thanks so much fur all the PoP and thoughts and prayers - we love you all, woof!

Lacey is ok *knock on wood*, howver, could you please send her lots of PoP and prayers? She's staying overnight at the emergency vet's because she was attacked by a neighborhood german shepard who was running loose. She has wounds and bruises, and a drain, and had morphine and an antibiotic shot, and the vets say she'll be ok *knock on wood*.. OMG, to her her howling in pain was the worst feeling ever and I can't stop thinking about it.

My roommate and the neighbors did call animal control, and we've been talking to them, and we are planning to file a vicious dog report. (The dog also bit me - didn't break the skin.) The german shepard lives in a fenced in area behind us, with another shepard or two, and no one lives there, and the dogs are guard dogs, and got loose, and I can hear the owner hammering the fence as I type.

I was walking Shakespeare and Lacey when it happened, and my mind went blank and I screamed hHelp and a guy who was standing on the street corner came over and hit the shepard with a bag of something, and I hit the shepard on the nose and tried to pry its jaws off Lacey. She was also trying to fight back. I'm still shaking.. but Lacey is at the e-vets... under observation...

On our walk this morning, Mom said this morning that my feisty meter was set up a zillion times more than normal. I wonder where I could have gotten that from, MOM?!?! BOL She's right though. We haven't been on many walks in the last couple days cause it's been too hot, so I have a lot to catch up on and lots of doggies and people to remind, again, that I rule the neighborhood.

Also on our walk this morning, I was being my extra super feisty self, and we turned the corner, and there, with her mom, was my arch nemesis Pepper*! Oh did I tell her off lots and lots! It was kinda hard with mom yanking me in the other direction, but I know she heard me loud and clear.

*Mom says to remind you pups that Pepper is a nice doggy, and her mom is a nice woman, but that Pepper and I haven't gotten along since our incidents at the doggy park furever ago. Sheesh, happy now mom?!? Ruin my street cred! BOL

Me and mom and Shakespeare were just out for our post-dinner stroll, and we saw a group of neighborhood doggies in one of the grassy areas several feet away. Everypup was leashed so mom let us sniff around a bit. Then the medium sized doggy got out of her collar and ran towards us! I snarled and barked to let her know not to get any closer, but she kept running towards us. I kept snarling and barking - you all know I'm the biggest dog in the neighborhood! Mom yanked me away and next thing ya know I was spinning in the air on my leash while mom tried to pick me up in her arms. Just as she had me in her arms, the doggie's dad finally got there and grabbed the medium sized doggy girl. He said "it's always something" and that his doggy didn't like small animals - hey, I'm not a small animal! Geez, how many times do I have to tell people and dogs that I'm not a bunny or 12 lb dog?!?! Anypaw, mom told the doggy's dad that she was worried about me cause I'm snarly. Whatever! I've gotta protect myself and mom and Shakespeare, who, by the woof, just sat there. We're all ok, but mom's a little shook up. She says she'd like to borrow Zaidie's mom's vodka drip pawlease!

Mom’s been asking me these past few days why I’ve had extra attitude and feistiness, well, now she knows why. I have a painful abscess owie on my back. She found it on Wednesday as a lump, and the very next afternoon (yesterday) I was at the vet’s cause there was dried blood around it. The vet shaved around the sore spot and touched it and I wanted to bite his face off cause it really hurt!!! He tattled on me to mom about that. (I wouldn’t *really* bite somebody’s face off by the way, I am a super nice girl! Just don’t poke me in painful spots!) Mom and the vet aren’t sure how I got it, and I’m not telling of course. The vet and mom’s friends on the book of faces said I’ll be ok. Just give me my medicines in soft food and pill pocket treats, yum!

Speaking of treats, congrats to me and my furbro Shakespeare on being a Diary Pick! Now pass the goodies Shakes!

Thanks for the barkday wishes everypup! It sure was a full of activity! First me and Shakespeare and mom took a couple morning walks.. well, we do that every weekend. We stopped into the apartment office and I talked to the nice office ladies and they gave us treats and pets. Then we went to an open house for a new pet lodge nearby. I met a doggy my size and color, but people were calling it a "great pier", so I think maybe it wasn't exactly like me. The open house sucked cause we didn't get any treats, like what a way to *not* want dogs to come back! Then we dropped Shakey off, and me and mom made our rounds in the local pet stores. I got attention and pets from lots of people, some even if they didn't want to, I just jumped on them and they couldn't help but pet my adorable self. I'm good, BOL! Mom made my barkday cake and tried to sing to me but she kept laughing. Me and Shakey had cake and he helped unwrap my presents (treats! yum!). Dog, am I wiped out! I gotta rest up so I have enough energy to jump on people and force them to pet me at the Paws for a Cause event tomorrow. Woof!

Hey pups, is there a doggy tooth fairy? Anypaw! They took some blood from my leg and the nice vet tech even gave me a blue bandage cause she said white doggies tend to bleed, and I guess she didn't want me getting dirty cause she knew I'd have to get a bath when I got home. I got a paws up healthy report on everything except my teethers. I'm still eating food and treats, and the vet said I didn't need my teethers cleaned right away. Mom told me and Shakey she got this new plaque off stuff that her friends said worked well on their schnauzers, so maybe that'll work and we won't have to get our teethers cleaned. I hope so, mom feels all guilty that I'd probably have to lose some teeth... wait, unless there's a doggy tooth fairy and I get a big steak for each tooth I lose!

Just me and mom were out walking around the neighborhood, and we walk around the corner and see a neighbor doggy running off leash around her little yard area. The doggy's like an akita/golden mix or somethin. Mom is so paranoid - she scoops me up in case the doggy runs towards us. Like that would help, mom knows better! Anyways. Doggy doesn't come towards us. Mom walks towards the doggy with me in her arms - she didn't cross the street cause she didn't want the doggy to run across the street and follow us cause it might be dangerous. Besides, there's only a little kid watching the doggy. So I'm barking, and mom holds out her hand to the doggy, and the doggy runs! The doggy wants to play! She's a super friendly doggy! And hyper! She runs around her little yard area and doesn't go farther than that. I bark at her, but mom won't let me off leash to chase her and play. Then the doggy's grown ups come out, and I bark at them to say hi, and they're nice, and their doggy runs inside, I guess to play, BOL.

This morning mom and I were in the lobby at the vet's office, and I was being really good, making friends with a scared and matted lhasa/shih tzu mix who had just been adopted by a new family a few days ago. I sniffed him and told him it would be ok and it seemed like his new dad really cared about him and life would be good. Then I jumped on his dad and thanked him for taking care of his new scared doggy. I didn't even bark at either of them like I usually do with doggies and people. I was my super sweet self! And for all that charity and goodness, what does mom do? She leaves me at the vet's all day so I can get a haircut and two shots! Geez!

Ok, I did need a haircut cause it's hot out and the vaccines cause they keep me from getting sick, but still...! Woof woof woof aroo roo! (You pups know what that means! BOL!)

Mom started the morning by singing to me, but I barked and barked to get her to shut up, BOL. Then she went to make the treat money. I hope she made a lot! When she got home, she took me and Shakespeare for a nice long walk around the park. She let me sniff whatever I wanted for as long as I wanted. Then she took Shakespeare home, and we went a short mother/birthday daughter excursion. We went to Petsmart, where mom stocked up on my favorite treats, canned food for a special dinner tomorrow, and shampoo.. shampoo.. wait a sec.... Anypaw! Oh! I can't forget the best part... while we were at Petsmart, she let me sniff around the bird enclosure.. OMD!!! I was having a pawsome time watching those birds fly around!! I was entranced!! Mom had to practically yank me away. So then we went to chick fil a and got dinner and me and Shakespeare had teeny tiny pieces of chicken and waffle fries, yum!

And tomorrow! Tomorrow mom's making a barkday cake and we're getting canned food for a special dinner. I love celebrating as long as pawsible!

Oh yah, do you know mom put the wrong barkday date into Dogster? She put in tomorrow.. I guess it's ok cause it's not like we're not pawtying all weekend!

She's clueless, BOL! So yesterday we had a neighborhood girl come to our door who offered to walk me and Shakespeare for a dollar cause she's raising money to get something she wants. Mom told her that it would ok for her to walk me sometime, but not Shakespeare cause he eats kids.. ok, not really, mom told the girl that Shakespeare isn't used to kids, which is more to the truth, BOL. Anyways, mom let me outside off leash in the front entryway to meet the girl, and I liked her and she liked me and I jumped on her and wagged my tail and she gave me pets and we got along great and I didn’t even bark. I even let her touch my sensitive ear. Shakes stayed inside, ha ha!

Later on mom was walking me and Shakes on our leashes as usual, and we saw the girl (she called my mom "Miss Christy" which made her feel old, BOL!). So mom brought us up to the girl, and Shakes barked his head off of course (that's what he does around the kids), but I barked and barked at her too. (Shakes is a bad influence!) Mom doesn't get why I was really nice to the girl outside my door but barking and in her face on leash walking around with Shakespeare. Cause I really am a nice doggy! (Shakespeare, well.. BOL!)

I was especially intolerant of that today, so much so that the groomer had the vet call my mom and tell her that I “didn’t want anything at all to do with that.” (Yes, even with fuzzy ears I can hear really well.) Mom gave me a talking to about being nice and cooperating with the groomer, but I don’t see her plucking hair from her ears. (The eyebrows, that’s a different thing, she’d be mad if she knew I told!) Well at least I’m not grounded (as if! BOL!), although mom did threaten to make me wear an Easter dress. Oh no, gotta hide! Here are 7 things about me that you might not know.

1. I guard my food and treats. When Shakey comes near em, esp. my food bowl, I'll growl and do my crazy bark. He listens well, BOL.

2. I'm picky about chewies and treats.

3. I won't take a treat out of someone's hand, not even mom's.

4. I sleep with my mom almost every night.

5. I can't not be touching my mom when I sleep with her. If she moves, I move so I can touch her. Sometimes this ends up with me taking up half the bed, BOL.

6. I was adopted by my mom when I was four years old.

Last night Shakespeare and I alerted mom that my arch nemesis* Pepper was walking with her mom towards our apartment. What did mom do? She went outside to say hi! Not cool mom! At first Pepper's mom didn't seem to remember who my mom was, and then mom mentioned me, and pointed to where Shakey and I were barking "stay away from that other dog, you cheater!". And then - *gasp* - mom petted Pepper! She petted Pepper on the head and scratched her back and bottom. Eek! Pepper liked it and liked my mom, and her mom said Pepper loves people. Ok, ok, so mom was right, my arch nemesis* is a nice dog, and of course I am too, we just don't like each other for whatever reason. Pepper's mom said Pepper'd been leery at the dog park ever since she was bit by another dog - oh no! (Psst, it wasn't me!) Mom came inside and Shakey and I sniffed her all over, and even though we were jealous of course, we just sniffed her and then proceeded to go back to our security posts.

*My arch-nemesis is a nice doggy really and her mom is nice too. Just like me and my mom are. For some reason it's just me and her that don't like each other. And she's not really an arch-nemesis or anything, it just sounds cool to say that. BOL

We went to the dog park again yesterday! It was so much fun! I met lots of new doggies, including a big Irish setter who seemed to take a liking to me, not like that, like his new friend or his kid. I got pets from a bunch of new people too (they have to pet you when you jump on them! BOL!).

I also met and brought home a new arch nemesis - The Tick! (No, he's not blue, BOL) Mom tried to get The Tick out of me last night with her tweezers, but the sucker (tm Lexie) really liked me. The Tick refused to let go and I was getting annoyed with mom yanking on me. Mom ended up getting his back half off, but his head and upper half stayed stuck. Mom put some iodine on it and then panicked all over the intrawebs, BOL.

Parts of my arch nemesis The Tick were still stuck on me this morning, and a small area around it was a little red. Mom's hoping that it'll just fall out, like the intrawebs said my immune system would make it do. I really don't want to go to the vet. Out, darn arch nemesis, out!

Mom and daddy Kev took me and Shakespeare to the dog park yesterday. We hadn't been in weeks cause Shakey had to heal from his surgery, and then mom went on vacation and me and Shakes stayed with grandpaw. We were so excited to be back! We went early in the morning, and we had the park all to ourselves, we ran around and sniffed and marked all over!! But then I saw my arch-nemesis* and her mom coming into the park. Now, arch-nemesis* and I have scuffled twice at the park - mom doesn't know why, me and the doggy just don't like each other. Arch-nemesis is a furry aussie/spaniel mix and is bigger than me, at least in physical size. She and her mom live in the same apt. complex as me and Shakey and our mom too.

So anyways, they came into the park, and mom picked me up and we headed towards daddy Kev and Shakey while arch-nemesis* and her mom went to the other end of the park to play ball. It's a big park. But still, even with our moms being vigilant, me even being on a leash for a while so mom could easily walk with me and "catch" me if she needed, we still managed to run towards each other a couple of times and we grred and growled and bared our teethers. The worst tho was when mom and I were walking and arch-nemesis* ran towards me with a ball in her mouth, and her mom was telling her to stay, and she was running, so mom picked me up and held me up near her head. Now, mom knows you're not supposed to do this, you're supposed to stand and be all alpha to the dog. But her mother instincts (BOL) made her scoop me up. My arch-nemesis* was jumping up trying to get to me, and she got mom a couple times on the arm, but then her owner came and got her away from me, and mom put me down and leashed me up again.

Oh yah, my arch-nemesis is named Pepper. I don't know why Pepper and I don't like each other, we just don't. Maybe she's an alpha girl like me? Maybe we can smell each other around the neighborhood and are too mean girls or something? I dunno.

*My arch-nemesis is a nice doggy really, she and Shakey get along, she and daddy Kev get along, She's a nice doggy and her mom is nice too. Just like me and my mom are. For some reason it's just me and her that don't like each other. And she's not really an arch-nemesis or anything, it just sounds cool to say that. BOL

Mom took me to the grand opening of a new chain pet store yesterday. From the moment mom and I walked in, the crowds descended upon me and exclaimed at my cuteness and "rare color." I was soaking up and loving all the attention! I even marked the entry way of the store so other dogs knew I'd been there. When I barked, it echoed, so that was pawsome too, I got to announce my presence to everyone all at once and several times. A few people got distracted by the two "breeder*" guys carrying schnauzer puppies (even mom, she was ooohing and ahhing, it was so embarrassing!), but the guys would point to me and then the people would come say hi to me too. Mom also told a bunch of people that I was a rescue dog and you can find adorable doggies like me in rescue.

Mom also picked me up and held me by the mousie and rat displays - she kept asking me if I wanted to "get them." "Lacey, do you feel like kicking their mousie butts?!?" What?!? BOL!! I ignored her and the mousies, BOL. Yah, I know schnauzers were bred to be ratters, and Shakey's good at it, but I'm way more interested in attention than mousies.

*Mom made me put breeder in quotes cause they were very likely backyard breeders instead of responsible champion schnauzer breeders. Mom's a big rescue advocate, imagine that!

Today is my seventh barkday, arooo!! Another barkday filled with presents, treats, and yummy dinner! Mom says we're having Merrick Venison Stew, yum!! They even gave me a small pawty at day care!

It's a sad day too though. Shakey had to stay home cause he has to heal. He'll still get treats and yummy dinner though. Saddest of all, my furiends Anna Belle and Bailey both very recently passed away. :( I didn't know Anna very well, but I sorta knew Bailey cause his family lives sorta near me. Shakespeare and Sydney knew him though, they visited his house several years ago and played with him and his little bro Skyler. Mom said Bailey is one of the most handsomest schnauzers she's ever met. I've met Bailey's mom, and she is a furtastic lady and a pawsome dog mom.

I'd like to dedicate my barkday to Anna and Bailey. Run free at the Bridge sweet puppers.

I wish he could come to my barkday party at doggy day care tomorrow, but mom says it wouldn't be good for him to go now. Yesterday mom picked us up, and Miss Phyllis told mom I was becoming more confident and coming out of my shell. Mom was like what shell? BOL I bark at dogs a lot at the dog park, but I don't interact with them much. Alright Pals! You made it here. I see you caught my foot ball pass. Here is what you should do next! Hurry and pass the ball to 5 of your team mates so they can make a touch down. You are also supposed to write down 5 things about yourself that are funny. Also please leave me a bone and ask all those who visit your diary to leave you a bone so you will know they have been there! Ok…Here goes the play!

1. I howl at sirens, just like my pal Little Man Mickey. The first time I did that, my mom and grandpawrents couldn't stop laughing. Now they encourage me cause it's so cute and funny! (of course!)

2. I run things at home!

3. I like to chase the big doggies at the dog park and bark bark bark at them! Mom always says "you tell em Lacey!" BOL

4. I don't share well - if I want to sit somewhere Shakey already is, I'll sit there anyways, and sometimes I'll end up sitting on top of him. Mom's even posted pics, so you know I'm willing to do it, BOL.

5. I pick the peas, corn, and other non-kibbley things out of my Merrick dry food.

I didn't like the "dunes" the truck tracks created in the sand, it was a lot to leap over for my little legs. I also didn't like the ocean! Those waves, nuh uh, stay away from those!
Aroo!! Mom registered me and Shakey for the dog park last weekend. Shakey told me he and mom used to go several years ago, before we had the house and yard and before I came along. But now we're in an apartment, so mom decided we needed to run around at the park again. Mom admitted she wasn't sure how I'd do cause I was kind of a snot in obedience class back in the day, BOL.

But, I did GREAT!! Oh my dog, do I love the Bark Park!! Oh wow, all the smells and sniffs and trees and people and dogs and freedom and running and being outside!!! I have so much fun and mom says I have done great every time! The only thing she got upset about was during the first time we went last weekend, and I was trying to play with some 'big' dogs, a lab and a pittie, who really, I'm bigger than in my head anyways. I was trying to get in and play with them and they would jump right over me! One of em even got mud on me, which was ok for me but not for mom (stupid baths, geez).

I hope we go back soon!!

Shakey's talking about how we're trapped in one room for a while. But he missed one of the biggest problems - we can't see out the windows now! Used to be I could hang out on the ottomans near the front window and do my head of security job by barking at everything I saw. Anyways, mom moved the ottomans away from the windows to "stage" the house, whatever that means, I don't see any plays going on. Anyways. She also says Shakey and I would mess up the new paint job by the windowsill. Whatever. So now I don't have a direct view out of any windows, so how can I properly warn mom and Shakey of things getting into our vast territory?!?

On a postive note tho, mom's bought us a couple new beds too. Sucker! BOL

I also met Roscoe the Racehound, who didn't race around much cause he was on a leash, but his mom did lots of racing around for the animals, woof! Some idiot across the street in a car asked if we had any yorkies and Roscoe's mom yelled back "We have all kinds of dogs!" - Pawsome! Arooo! There's going to be another protest next weekend so hopefully we can go then too. Down with puppy mills, arooo!

"A local business is opening a “puppy store” in Virginia Beach, Virginia which will be shipping in 60-80 puppies at a time for retail sale.

Date: Saturday, April 12
Time: 12:30 P.M
Where: 4402 Holland Road “Puppyville”

Bring your rescue dog with you (and plastic bags). We will be on Holland Road in front of the shopping center. The new store is owned by the proprietor of Animal Jungle and is in the same center. We need lots of folks!"

Come join us in protesting this horrible store! You can also meet me, aroo! Maybe Shakey too, he's not a rescue pup but he says he's dealt with enough foster siblings that he might as well be, BOL.

I gotta sneak on the computer at the vet's to tell you pups this story. So me and Shakey were riding in the car this morning, happily sticking our heads out of the window barking at everything, when mom sees two of our neighbor's dogs running loose. Shakey and me have met one of them before when mom had it in our yard for a few minutes until she could get a leash on it and bring it home. It's a nice dog and was good when we chased it around the yard, BOL. Anypoo, mom stops the car and puts that dog, I think it's name was Brittany, in the back of the car! What? Get outta my car! (By the paw, mom drives an SUV, and Shakey was in the front seat, I was in the back seat, and Brittany is in the back back.) Then mom chases after the other dog, whose name was Bassett Hound, and Brittany jumps outta the car (dumb mom left the top part open) and runs to them, and Bassett and Brittany take off. So *then*, geez, mom drives the car over to them and tries to put them back in *my* car. I'm barking in protest but mom isn't listening. Brittany jumps back in the car, and mom tries lifting Bassett. BOL, that was hilarious to watch! Bassett just kept laying there all stubborn-like for a belly rub, and it didn't want to be lifted, it just wanted a belly rub - I mean, can you blame it?!? BOL! Eventually mom lifted Bassett with both arms and got it into the car. Now there are *two* strange dogs in *my* car. I'm barking at them to get outta my space, but they were happily oblivious. Not like they could go anywhere anyways I suppose. Luckily mom drove to their house and put them in their yard and all was safe and sound. Well, until mom left us at the vet's again! Geez! I'd be fine at home helping the handyman! (Oops, vets are coming, gotta go!) Oh, mom told us we were really good with the neighbor's dogs, that's only cause she didn't understand what we were saying, BOL!

Dear Santa Paws,

I love you Santa! I hope you could tell from the couple times I've visited you. You're the bestest, esp. since you love us doggies so much!

I have been such a good girl this year! It was another year of me being mom's "bright shining light" and lap warmer! :) I didn't pester my older brother Shakespeare too much, and when I did, he wanted me too! Sometimes I even let him win. I am a *pawsome* security guard and I keep my mom alerted to everything that goes on outside. Even when she's in another part of the house, I run and tell her in my loudest barks what's happening around our territory. I keep our house safe and sound (I have lots of sound, BOL!). I keep mommy warm when she's laying on the couch and when she's sleeping in her bed. When Shakey jumps up to lay with her, I don't even push him off! I'm a good sharer!! I keep everyone's laps warm too, which is great now that the weather's getting colder. (p.s. Could you please tell mom I don't need sweaters when it's cold, no matter how cute she thinks I look in them? Thanks Santa!) I'm a very nice girl and I love everybody!

Ok, so fur Christmas I would like:

Please give every homeless doggy and kitty a home this howliday and furever and ever. I am such a lucky girl to have found my furever home last year, and I have a mom who loves me to pieces and a grandma and grandpa who adore me and cater to my every wish. Every animal should have a home like that!

I want all those evil horrible puppy mills shut down and out of business furever. The people who run those things should get coal in their stockings!!! Could you please also put coal in the stockings of every animal abuser? Thanks Santa Paws!

I would like a new bed, as big as mom's bed pawlease if you can fit it on your sleigh.

I would really like to catch a squirrel or bunny. I won't hurt it, I just want to catch one.

I would also like to sample more people food. Do you have the pawer to make it rain hot dogs and cheese?

And warm laps for everyone!

Love and licks!

I was tagged by Velvet and Dude's Big Boy.

It's THANKSGIVING TAG!!!!

Here are the rules:
Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play.

Seven Things I’m Thankful For:

1. I am thankful that the vet's office I was surrendered to called my mom's rescue group and that my mom picked me up and fell in love with me.
2. I am thankful that my mom adopted me!!!
3. I am thankful for windows that I can watch everything through.
4. I am thankful for LAPS!!
5. I am thankful for walks and treats, two of my fave things!
6. I am thankful that mom feeds us really good healthy kibble, and I am thankful that I can pick the dried peas and corn out of that kibble, BOL.
7. I am thankful for my brother Shakespeare and thankful that we have fun playing together.

I got sick on her bed in the middle of the night and got some of it on me, so she had to wash it off and cut some of the icky sticky-ness out. She doesn't know why she didn't wake up, but it's cause I was quiet about it cause I was all embarrassed. She said next time to bark and let her know.. ok mom, I'll remember you said that, BOL.
I was tagged by Sassy and Whitney.

Here are the rules of this dogster game of "tag" in case you've never gotten a chance to play. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new DIARY entry" along with the rules and put them in your own DIARY. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged. Post their names also in your DIARY.

Here are 7 random facts about myself:

1. I loooove to have my neck petted and rubbed!
2. The hair around my eyes grows really fast.
3. I'm possessive about my treats and will tell Shakespeare off if he gets to close while I'm eating them.
4. I'm finally starting to eat chewies! Mom is so proud, BOL.
5. My favorite toys are our two doggy blankets; I love to play tug o war with them.
6. I won't go outside in the rain.
7. I love my grandpa; I'll jump from the floor on the side of his chair right over the armrests to sit in his lap.

I'll let Shakespeare pick who we tag!

Aroo! I had a grrrrreat birthday! I want to thank all the pups who gave me Rosettes and Stars! I loved them all and you pups are pawsome!!

Mom made doggy brownies, and me and Shakey and Sydney got to gobble some of those. Oh geez, mom had them sitting on a table to cool off and it was torture!! With my supervision (i.e. barking, BOL), Shakey tried to get up on the table to get them, but mom caught us every time. As the barkday girl, I got more brownies than my siblings, aroo! Then we had doggy safe ice cream sundae cups, like frosty paws only with 'hot fudge' mixed in. I made Shakespeare open my presents for me (he likes that silliness). I got a long purple Bobo and it's so cute and just for me! I also got a really pretty doggy dish, it's pink with stars! Just for me, mom's star! She got Shakey a blue dish (but no stars, haha) too so we could have matching new dishes. Sydney already has a dish that's perfect for her.

Mom says she'll post pics soon. She sure did take enough!

I got lots of loving and belly rubs and extra treats all night too! Mom even said that even though I need a bath, she'd put it off until tomorrow... wait a sec, that's today.. uh oh I gotta go hide behind my purple Bobo!

I haven't written in my diary in a while cause I've been so busy playing, walking with Shakey and mom, barking at squirrels and birds, keeping an eye on my territory, and being a lap warmer for mom and anyone else who wants a lap warmer. I love sitting in laps, woof! And there's sooo much to watch out of the window! Life is good!

Mom's been making me wear my bright plaid fleece sweater from Otto's Outfits this week cause I've been cold. It's taken me a while to get used to it, but once I realized how pretty I look, well, I gotta brag! I need to post a photo soon!

Last night I had my first raw chicken wing. Mom said it was ok to eat, and Shakespeare was eating one too, but I had to lick it a lot to make sure. I'd never had anything like it. After mom left the room, I started to chew on it and eat it and it was pretty yummy! Shakey, my piggy brother, ate his really fast so he kept hanging out by me in case I walked away from my wing, but mom kept telling him to shoo. My brother is such a dork, BOL! I finished my chicken wing and mom told me what a good girl I was, but of course, I got to eat people food so I win, aroo!

But in the middle of last night, I got sick and mom thinks it was cause of the chicken wing. Shakey's never gotten sick, so she thinks maybe I don't have as much of an iron stomach as he does.

Mom couldn't take me to class last week cause she sprained her ankle - while she was walking us. Watch your step mom! What a klutz! Aroooo!

Tonight we went to the last class and I did sooo much better than I did the first week! I barked only 40% of the class this time, woof! I even had that german shepard boy pup making eyes at me, woof! He sure was handsome, big brown eyes.... Oh yah, so let me tell you what I learned besides how to wrap a boy around your paw, BOL! I can now do a really good Sit, a great Stay, an impatient Wait, a super fast Come, a nice Leave It, and I even entertained mom by staying in a Down when she pulled my paws down on the floor - but since I can do a great Stay, I can do a great Down Stay! My teacher was so proud, but mom was the proudest - she was glowing with happiness at me, woof woof! I'm so glad I made mom proud cause she's been really good to me. Anyways...!

Tonight I graduated!!! I actually graduated from Basic Obedience class!! I even got a certificate and a ribbon!! Shakey has certificates from his classes, but no ribbon *phhbbttt*!!

Now I gotta get him to spill on this thing that mom keeps talking about - Christmas.. sounds fun!

Now that I know when mom's gone and how to use her computer (I am pretty smart), *I* can do all the talking, woof! I have lots and lots to say!

First off I want to thank the pawsome Dogster people and all my doggy pals, old and new, for the rosettes and congrats and paw mails when I was Diary of the Day! [mom ed - Friday Nov 17th] I love attention and people and love and I give lots right back, arooo! *tail wagging* *kisses* I met this Santa guy last weekend and I gave him lots of love and kisses too, he was so nice!

I went to another class again last night. I even behaved - so there mom! *phhbbtt* I did most of my Sits - I know how to do those, that's easy! The hard part was Staying for more than 5 seconds, but I did that most of the time too and I got lots of hot dogs - YUM! - for staying still. Pawsome! Arooo! I even stayed Down once or twice, and I hate doing that unless I'm napping. *Psst*, so don't tell my older brother Shakey, but I really look up to him and how he knows all his tricks and is so smart and he teaches me a lot of them when mom's not home. Anyways!

My pals Dobie and Saint Bernard weren't there, so I talked a lot to the Bernese puppy Zoe, but she didn't talk back much. I wanted to play with my new Bearded Collie puppy pal Echo, but our moms kept us apart, maybe cause I'd get lost in all that fur, roo roo! Echo really wanted to play, and I talked to her a lot too about how much fun we'd have. But what's up with that "bearded" thing - she has fur all over her, that's not a beard, *I* have a beard, and I'm not like a bearded schnauzer or anything. So silly, who comes up with these names?!?!

Ooo, but after showing off my smarts and ability to stay still for more than 5 seconds (mom was soooo proud!!! BOL!), we got to play on a bunch of, um, what were they called, agillitee something? I was kinda nervous about going near them, but then when I got started I realized how much fun it was! I got to Jump through a tire and over some boards and I love to jump! Mom says jumping is one of my bestest skills, next to barking and being adorable. She also says I'm a good runner, well at least when I'm chasing squirrels - I don't know how those darn things can run faster than me! Anyways! I also got to go through some round things called tunnels, I did those quickly cause my mom was alll the way on the other end with those hot dogs - YUM! Oh, but that stupid table thing mom tried to get me to jump on - no way! I have to be still and I'm so not gonna do that when I've already done it tons of times in class.

Whew, I'm so tired now, all this talkin and stuff, I need to go take a nap!

I was so tired last night, even mom was too tired to write about my latest class adventure. I'm a handful, BOL! But now that she's at work making treat money and I'm awake, I can tell you about class from *my* point of view.

First off, those other doggies may think they're bigger than me (I'm barkin' to you, misters Doberman and St. Bernard!), but I am totally the biggest dog in the class! I definitely have the biggest bark, ROO ROO ROO!

So teacher tells mom I have space issues, well, these other dogs are all in *my* space, which is near *my* mom. I don't know why they don't get it. Anyways, so last night I started tellin' all those other dogs off and I got put in the corner cause I wouldn't behave - the NERVE! I got put in a Time Out! My mom, what a dork, she was like all embarrassed cause of her "problem child." She has no idea I'm just protecting her, geez!

But mom says she's super proud of me and that I am sooo smart (DUH!) cause I really am learnin' stuff, I show off at home all the time. I just don't like the class area, it's too distracting with all those other dogs to tell off and all. Now I know the some of the same stuff as my older brother Shakey, I know how to Sit and Stay and Leave It and Off and Come! I'm not quite sure about this Wait thing cause I want to get to mom as quickly as possible, but the teacher keeps ahold of me, geez. Teacher gives me special attention sometimes, but I don't like her treats, yuk! Get some hot dogs lady, I love those!

I really want to make mom happy and also get as many hot dog pieces as possible, not necessarily in that order, BOL. I'm waaay too smart for my own good, just like Shakey taught me cause he's an expert at that. Woof woof!

(Yep, I'm really talkative too, mom is always tellin' me to be quiet, woof woof woof woof! I'm just a social butterfly!)

Ooo, while I can, I wanna give bark outs to my good pals Charley, Drover, and Zoe! Woof woof woof woof roo roo, BOL!

Once again, since Lacey is wiped out from all her learnin', I'll tell you how my furgirl's night went. :)

Class tonight was the third in the course (I didn't go last Tues because I had to give out candy) and Lacey's second. There were fewer people and dogs in class this week, probably because the weather is crap. Anyways, it was nice to have a smaller class and also more attention from the instructor. This time I didn't feed her when I got home *and* I brought hot dogs. :)

Lacey was still very distracted by the other dogs, and when she would look elsewhere or bark at a dog, I'd tempt her with a hot dog. Sometimes this worked. The instructor said Lacey was still having space issues and had us stay further apart from the rest of the dogs. The instructor did work with us for a bit tonight too, whew. Ok, so Lacey did good with her Sits, we started on Stay and she seemed to be doing good at this too. We also tried Wait and Come, as well as Stay as we walked away and came back - the instructor held our dogs for both those exercises. Lacey did very good when I told her to Come. *g* She is still having a lot of difficulty with Down, so I need to get her alone and practice that.

At the end of class, we walked back and forth past other dogs; the instructor put us on the end so Lacey wouldn't get crazy, barky, and/or distracted. But Lacey went nuts every time the dog next to us (a Dobie I think, it had natural ears) would walk by or we would approach it. The instructor told me to keep walking with her, and it was like I was dragging Lacey on two feet. lol Ok, it looked funny but it wasn't because Lacey need to get much better with other dogs I think.

So tonight's class went better than the first one, Lacey seems to have several commands down, but is still super distracted and having space issues.

...

Lacey had her first obedience class today and is too tired to write, so I'm doing it for her. :)

Class was crazy. There are probably 20 dogs in it. Most of the dogs had already been to puppy class and knew how to sit, down, heel, etc. The instructor seemed to know many of the people and sort of expected the dogs to know sit and down at least. Lacey knows sit and that's it.

It was Lacey's first time in this type of environment, and she was very stressed. She said hi to some of the dogs just fine, but tried to pick a fight with two St Bernards, in which I mean she barked her fool head off in a very fast strong bark. She barked so much and was so distracted by the commotion, dogs, people, everything. The instructor told our small group (the class was broken in two groups) that Lacey was very stressed and needed space, and to stay out of her space for now. Sigh. Lacey barely paid attention to me, even tho I had treats right in her face. I may need better treats. :) Lacey's just not very food motivated. Anyways. I feel like we have to start from the very first thing, having her pay attention to me. She'd sit sometimes but she wouldn't look at me when I call her name cause there's so much going on. It was very frustrating getting her to look at me. This week we're practicing Sit, Watch Me (ha) and Leave It. She was soooooo distracted, barky, had no attention span, wouldn't look at me, etc.

I have to figure out how I can get one on one time with her this week to practice.

I think I just had high expectations for her because she seems so smart. I feel very frustrated right now. I have to remind myself that when Shakey was a puppy, he was crazy too and he learned everything eventually.

Shakey had a sniffing crazy fit when we got home. LOL

Please wish me luck. :)

I had a little adventure yesterday and met some new people! I was hanging out in the backyard with Shakey and my mom, and saw some nice people and their two doggies across the street that I wanted to visit. So when mom wasn't looking, I slipped through the space between the gates and went to say hi! I ran right up to the neighbor man, and he and his wife were very nice. They scooped me up and started taking me for a walk.. then I saw my mom running towards us and I got all excited. The neighbor man gave me to my mom, who hugged me really tight and fussed at me, told me never to do that again. But I love people, mom, how am I gonna say hi to them all? Mom was holding me all tight and I was wiggling like crazy cause I just wanted to go back and play with Shakey. Now mom's put something in front of the gate that I can't squeeze through. I guess people are going to have to come to me now, arf arf!

My mom went away for a few days, so I got to spend that time at my grandpaw's house. I have him wrapped around my adorable little paw, haha! He let me jump in his lap and he played with me and gave me lots of attention, which I love. My cousin Cupcake is pretty cool too, even though she doesn't play much.

I'm glad to be home though, my grandma and especially my mom were really happy to see me. I was really happy to see my mom too! I missed my brother Shakey, he stayed with my uncle at our house. We played lots when I got home, it was fun!

Lacey, you're a shining light in my life. You haven't lived with me that long, but I still already love you to pieces. I love when your little nubby tail wags, which it does almost all the time; I love your bright happy eyes and beaming smile. When you and Shakespeare play, it brings such a smile to my face. Your older brother adores you just as I do. :)

Hi everydog! My name's Lacey and the mom of the house told me I'm gonna stay with her furever! I love it! I have a really fun older brother named Shakespeare and a grumpus older sister named Sydney. Sydney never wants to play with me. *pout* But Shakey does! We play and wrestle and have sooo much fun! I have lots of toys, which I'm learning to play with cause my mom will play with me with them, and there's lots of beds just for me, although my favorite bed is my mom's at night. I get lots of treats and let me tell you, I LOVE treats! YUM! Oh! I also get to sit and look outside all day! I just love that! Sometimes I'll even let Shakey sit up there with me. My mom is so nice and she pets me and rubs my belly and she just loves me! I can't blame her of course since I am so pretty, adorable, and sweet. Hehe. Sydney may be the queen of the house, but I'm surely the princess!
