Hi Everyone, Hope you're all well.

I really do miss chatting with you all. Problem is, Mummy has been doing her A-Levels and now she's working full time in the week as a legal secretary(plus weekends in her old retail job) until she hopefully goes to university next year. She's a busy bee, so this has taken a back seat.

We were just dropping by to make sure we had copies of all my account photos as my Dogster Plus is about to expire and we've decided not to renew it at this time as we're rarely on here. I've got a stash of zealies saved up for Christmas time so I can remind my old friends of our shared memories. There are memories from Dogster that will never be forgotten - especially from WU. We do hope that we can make some more in the future.

Take care everypup.

It was a Great success, a really pawsome day!! All us dogs were really well behaved and had lots of fun together. The sun shone all day, and paired with a cool breeze it was pawfect weather for us.

We all met at Brampton Woods around 11am for a walk together through the woods before heading over to Grafham Water for a picnic and some games. Mummy and Ben had organised Musical Dogs, which Sadie and Eddie were the winners of, and a Potato and Spoon race which Sadie and Bertie won.

I hung out and chilled with Bertie and Eddie a lot at Grafham. The pawrents kept noticing lots of similarities in the characters of Eddie and I. We’re thinking we may be related. It could be possible, us Westies did get bred from the Cairn =)

Just before it was time to go we had our gift exchange. Mummy and Nanny felt really guilty since they’d left Sadie’s presents at home on the kitchen table (Sorry Sadie). Angel and Rocky had got me this really lovely plush Cow toy. I made sure they could see how much I loved it, and played with it for a good 10 minutes. Bertie kept looking over at me longingly, wanting to steal my cow.

Here's my photos from the day: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10772751@N03/sets/72157619686965407/

I’m sure we’ll have another Meet, and I cannot wait!

There's been a bit of drama here today...

It happened when I was off lead in a field near my house during a walk with Mummy and Ben. I was happily exploring and sniffing around as I do, when I got caught in some brambles. It hurt a whole lot, and I couldn't help but to yelp really loudly. Both alarmed, Mummy and I ran towards each other. That's when she saw all the blood!! There was specks of red all over me, but most of it on my ear. Mummy and Ben quickly carried me home to clear me up and see how badly I had been hurt.

My ear had been sliced open by the nasty brambles =( It's amazing how much blood can come out of an ear!!

It shook me up abit but I'm alright.

I am not a happy westie!!

There's a tiny 6 day old kitten at MY house today, stealing ALL MY attention.

Humph!!!

It makes very strange little noises.

Mummy says it's a kitten but I think it's actually a rat. Aren't rats for hunting??

The reason it's at my house is that Mitzi has rejected it. Stupid cat!!

Mitzi gave birth to three Kittens (http://www.catster.com/cats/910092)...I'm so thankful only one is at my house!!

Which reminds me, not only do I have to share my house with this little one. I have to share my barkday too!! They were born on the morning of the 22nd October 2008 -- MY BARKDAY. Barkdays are not something for sharing.

It's here all day tomorrow too, along with Friday and Saturday.

=(

BIG SIGH

Humph!!!

Oh, on the plus side we have snow here in England tonight!! Hopefully in the morning I'll get to zoom in the snow.

I wish to spread a big thankyou to the hundreds of you that sent me and my family members febreeze gifts. I'm making time to read them all since each message makes me smile! Oh, and if any of your pawrents have sent my Mum pawsonal emails, it may take us a while to dig them up so sorry for any delay in answering.

For the past week I'd been considering my options on what to do when Mummy returned from her 3 week roadtrip in the USA with Atticus Finch and his Mom. Would I....
1) Ignore her. Making her feel guilty for leaving me to meet all MY pals
-or-
2) Give her lots of love.
I went with option 2. Afterall, what if she thought I hadn't missed her? Or, not give me all the wonderful presents she had got for me? I couldn't risk that so lotsa loving came her way!!

Mummy's been making me SO jealous telling me about her trip. She travelled 13 states and over 4000 miles with my bestest buddy Attie and his Mom and met many of our Dogster pals on the way. She even attended the NY Westies Unite meet and greet without me! It's not fair.

Here's a list of my friends that she met: Attie, Shadow, Morgan, Maggie, Shiloh, Maggie Mae, Zoe Belle, Benny, Riley, Finn, Dory, Mia, Taffany, Emily, Maple, Sofia, Wexford,Lily, Kato, Sambuca, Isabella Martini, Emma, Pogue, Hunter, Chloe, Patrick, Trotskii, Blanket, Missy P, Casey, Callie, Moshe, Levi, and the lovely Mom's of Meagan and Pocky. It's rather a long list, isn't it? If only I could have been there, too. Sigh.

On the plus side, several of the pups sent Mummy back with presents for me! Yay! And, of course Mummy brought me presents too!
Photo: My Dungarees from Mia and Taffany; Photo: Goodies from america; Photo: My 'Will wear funny shirts for treats' T-Shirt". Sending westie kisses to all of those who sent me pressies! MWAH!!

Whilst Mummy was away, to stop me moping around the house for three weeks, Nanny and Grandaddy took me on some short holidays. The Lakes District, Scotland, and the seaside at SouthWold are some of the places we went. I had a fabulous time and recived tons of attention. Some tourists even took photos of me! Yup, I'm a celebrity now =)

This entry has been rather upbeat hasn't it? Unfortunately, I do have some very, very, sad news to report. My Uncle, Buster, passed on on the evening of the 28th June. His parents are still feeling extremely low after Buster's passing and Danny has been lifeless. He keeps howling and begging beside Buster's collar and ashes. He's become a completely different dog right now. Please send some positive thoughts to Wales and the home of Buster and hope they will sometime soon begin to adjust.

In just 10 days Mummy is off to the USA for a 3 week roadtrip with our Westies Unite Dogster buddies!! I'm so jealous, she's going to get to play with many of my bestest friends whilst I am stuck at home, all alone. Sigh.

I've not been online much lately, Mummy has been revising for her exams (only two left - Woo!) and she's also been spending lots of time with her beau, Ben. We love him!! Oh, and his dog Milly too! She is my new best friend - I adore her. She's a Boxer/Staffy and is such a sweet, soppy character!

Bonjour mes amis =)
(That's hello my friends for those of you of lesser intelligence than I)

Mummy's been studying an awful lot lately. I think it's something to do with the millions of upcoming exams she will be taking in the next 7 weeks. Due to this, I have been spending vast amounts of time pawing Mummy reminding her to take a break...every 5 minutes. More often than not, I end up studying with her. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm positive that my Jadey Lady will be dazzled with my new higher level of intellect =)

Today Mummy had the day off school. However, some of her friends were there catching up on Art so Mummy decided we would go for a walk to school and surprise her friends. Wearing my new Polka Dot harness and matching lead, we went on our way. It was sunny outside. As my Great Nanny would say, the sun definitely had his hat on. 20 minutes was all it took to get there and then I went inside the school building and into the art class. There was some extremely interesting smells inside that room, and some fascinating objects. Mummy's friends (who I adore) played with me. They know how I like it; Rough. The teachers we encountered also gave me lots of fuss. It was a good day!

Hi Everypup.

My cousin Scamp's Mum's Sister's beautiful Husky named Timbi is missing in Perthshire, Scotland.

She went missing on the on the 15th March from Castle Menzies, Aberfeldy,Perthshire. She's tagged, deaf, and was wearing a black waterproof coat.

http://www.doglost.co.uk/forum.asp?ID=12964

Despite being 15 years of age, she is a very striking dog...wolf grey with white/blue eyes.

They suspect Timbi was picked up in a car and has been taken from the area and think that whoever has her, or whoever they pass her onto, will quickly realise she is very old, and has some problems. This leaves everyone with the concern that she ends up being dumped.

Everyone is working extremely hard to find her. As well as countless searches they have appealed on 2 local radio stations, contacted vets, pet shops, visited every local house within a radius of where they live, been into hotels, bars, shops etc.

Please could we have your prayers and ask you are on the lookout for Timbi if in the UK. It's 6 days on....She could be anywhere by now.

Poor Timbi. Pawlease find your way home soon sweet girl!

Hello Furbuddies

Gosh, this diary entry is long overdue. 8th January was my last entry...that's 63 days ago!!

=o

No, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth and I definately haven't stopped loving Dogster. My Mummy has just been too busy to allow me online as often as I would like.

In the past few months, I've become more of a 'lurker' than a poster in the forums and several of my groups. Yup, I've been keeping tabs on what all my pals are up to ...don't you worry about that! Sadly, I've also had to pray for several of my furbuddies who are going through some rough times. I wish I had some magic dust that I could sprinkle over those who are poorly and make them instantly feel better!

So, to the reasons I have not been barking here much. Well, school is putting a lot of pressure onto Mummy right now since she's got a vast number of exams coming up in the next few months. It's quite stressful as she's aiming for top grades. She's also doing a lot of studying for her weekend job at Pets At Home since she has to have good knowledge of all the pets to do her job successfully.

As well as all that, poor little me has been unwell...I had an allergic reaction and was on anti-biotics. No-one is really sure what it was a reaction to but I've been left with lots of little scabs on my back and was feeling really poorly for about a week. Of course, the whole family were concerned about me. I'm back to my former self now though except from the scabs but they're clearing up!

Gotta go....

Well, Mummy went out and left me today at about 8.30. Normally at 8.30 in the morning she's still dreaming in bed but today she arose early. I didn't bother to get up with her, I didn't think she would be gone long. So, I lay undisturbed with my little feet in the air until about 10 when Nanny and Grandaddy forced me out of bed. They accused me of being lazy? Hmmph

Mummy returned just after 3pm. Whilst greeting her I caught the scents of many different animals which combine to make the smell of my favourite shop - Pets At Home. It turns out that Mummy has got a job and will be working there 5 hours each weekend. At first I was dismayed at the idea but she talked me round when she told me that she'll be able to get a small discount on all products there.Yeah!!
Currently, dogs and birds are the only animals Mummy is quite educated on but that's soon going to change! Soon, Mummy will know lots, and lots, about all animals that can be kept as pets.

Please excuse me, I have some cuddle time with Mummy to catch up on...

Wooohooo - It's 2008!!
Happy New Year everypup!!

Let's hope its a year full of happiness and good health for all here at Dogster.

Did you all have a good time last night? I stayed home with Nanny and Grandaddy and greeted 2008 quite quietly whilst Mummy was out at a party with friends. It was a fancy dress party and Mummy went as Marilyn Monroe (Pic 1; Pic 2; Pic 3). I wanted her to dress up as Dorothy from the 'Wizard of Oz' and take me as Toto but she didn't take up my suggestion. *sigh*

So, a new year is upon us which means I need to make my new years resolution. I think my new years resolution will be...to meet as many Dogster pups as possible during the year. During 2007 I met Danny and Buster; Scamp; Baxter; Jenna; Megan; and Arnie. I'll probably be seeing all these friends of mine again in 2008 and should be meeting some more European dogsters, too. One of my bestest friends, Chester, is coming across to England from Germany during the Spring so that's one meeting already planned. I'm so excited about that!! I'm keeping my paws crossed that lots of Dogster playdates are coming my way this year since I just love meeting up with other dogs.

Once again, Happy New Year!!

Good Evening Dogsters! I hope you're all having the merriest of Christmas's!

It's 6pm here and we're just beginning to wind down after a hectic (but fun) christmas morning. Caffrey was planning to write today but he's asleep, full up with Turkey and all the trimmings so, I, Mummy Bekka, will be writing for him. My little man is so full that if you poked him right now he would explode -- He only just managed to waddle to his bed! LOL

This morning Caffers has unwrapped 20 new toys, 4 new jumpers, a hat, a dressing gown and 2 t-shirts! Oh, and several bags of treats, too! He's one spoilt pooch! Hmm...If I say that does that mean I am spoilt because I have even more pressies than him?? LOL

Here's a picture of Caffers earlier today with the majority of his Christmas presents -- http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n32/bexbrown312302/CaffersXmas.jpg

I wanted to send a big woof out to my group, UK Woofers, and let everypup here at Dogster know what a caring bunch of pups they are!

During October we were all busy finding the pawfect pictures for being stars of our own 2008 Calendar. The aim of the calendar was to raise money for dogs that are less fortunate than ourselves who are in the care of the DogsTrust. The DogsTrust is a wonderful charity which believes no healthy dog should ever be destroyed and that every dog should have a chance to lead a happy and healthy life in a loving home. A deserving charity - don't you agree?

It is a pleasure to be able to share with all of dogster that UK Woofers, through the calendar, have raised £105!!! That £105 is going to help those poor doggies so much whilst they await a loving, forever home. I pray that after Christmas they will all find the pawfect family and be as happy and well loved as we all are here at Dogster! When I think of all those lonely dogs it makes me realise just how lucky I am, I have been surrounded by love ever since I was tiny.

I can't express how proud I am of my group, UK Woofers. They're a real a bunch of stars - each and everyone of them who has made a Donation to the Dogs Trust.

Once we started the calendar, we had pups coming up with lots more ideas on how we could fundraise for the DogsTrust and, as result of this we may be having a UK Woofers sponsored walk during 2008. Wouldn't that be pawsome!?!

Around 10.30am this morning Arnie and I met over at Willen Lake. It was so much fun!

When we got out of the car we immediately took a liking to each other. Unfortunately, it was drizzling with rain but I don’t mind the rain, I find it quite refreshing. Once we were out of the car park and on the main path surrounded by green grass Mummy let me off lead so we could play together. I was so happy since I don’t often get to be off lead now due to the amount of dog-napping that, unfortunately, is getting all the more common here. I gave Arnie a playful growl and zoomed off, eager for him to chase me! Mummy says you could see the joy on our cute little faces as we ran, and ran, and ran! The humans, who were all getting along well, decided we would walk around the smaller of the two large lakes. It was rather muddy and me and Arnie were soon covered!
About 25 minutes later (Arnie and I were STILL playing chase) we came to this concrete bridge. There was water either side of us in what could be described as a reservoir. Nothing was limiting our access to the water except a few railings that Arnie and I could easily pass through. Eager to impress my new pal, I went through the railings and head first into the water! Mummy captured the moment on the camera - (clicky here). For a moment I was submerged. Mummy screamed ‘Oh my god’ whilst Nanny was yelling at Mummy - “Bekka, you can swim, you can swim?!?” Once I had got my head up over the surface of the (freezing cold) water Nanny says I had an expression on my face that read “Oh poop”. The humans all thought I was going to have to be rescued. I realised I had to make a real effort to swim back to my humans and my new friends. I’ve never swam before, when Mummy tried me back in the summer I panicked, but today I mastered it and swam back to my Mummy like a real pro! It’s true what they say, you can do anything if you have to. I went in muddy and brown, and came out freezing cold, soaked but white! Arnie was well impressed with me and after giving me a moment to get over my ordeal, he became my little shadow once again and we played chase for a further half an hour!
Mummy took some photos of our time together, you can see them here: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0CZt2LloybMWEF
Arnie and I got along so well today, we’re best friends now! Since we liked each other very much, we’re going to meet up again after Christmas. I can’t wait to meet my little (well, I say little but he’s almost the same size as me) puggie pal again!

Woofs and Wags,
A sleepy Caffrey xx

This mornin ...

Ok...So I've been a little naughty today. What do you expect? I'm a terrier afterall!

This morning Mummy woke up much earlier than she normally does during weekends. Seldom do we see her up before 10am on a Saturday but today, she was up and active at 8.30am! She prepared some breakfast in the kitchen - Cornflakes with milk and drenched in sweet honey. Mmmmm. She sat down in the living room and began to eat. I sat by her feet, staring at her, longing to have a tiny morsel. She said to me "You won't like it, Caffers". I didn't believe her, I never do when she says that! Anyway, she decided to go grab herself a drink, leaving me staring at the bowl.
As soon as her feet had touched the cold kitchen tiles I jumped up onto MY sofa and sneakily sniffed the contents. They smelled so good! I couldn't stop my littletongue escaping my mouth to grab a taste. One I had slurped one bit, I couldn't resist having another. Mummy wouldn't notice any was missing, would she? I continued to slurp (rather noisely) for about a minute and then, I heard the fridge door close. I panicked. If she had caught me she wouldn't trust me with her food ever again. By the time she stepped into the kitchen I was sitting in the middle of the sofa with an innocent look upon my face. Mummy smiled at me. I don't think she knew what I had been up to. Strangely though, she didn't eat anymore of her cereal.

After that, Mummy and Grandaddy begun getting out all the christmas decorations to transform our house for the holiday season. My toys were all moved to make way for the boxes. Even one of my beds was moved, the christmas tree has filled the spot where it once was. I sat staring at Mummy whilst she placed ornaments on the tree. Several of them were Westies...surely, I should have been allowed to place those on the tree myself? I felt neglected so, I went outside in the garden and had a mud bath! According to a good friend, they are ever so good for the fur. Mummy wasn't too pleased when she saw my muddy face Tomorrow, I am off to the family christmas meet up in Wales. Mummy says I may have to have a bath now as I have to look smart and tidy tomorrow or I won't get presents! :o

If you now love me even more because you know I can be naughty as well as nice - please could you vote for me? I am entered in the December Terrier Club BEST OF SHOW photo contest and I hope I can count on your vote. Just visit the following link to see my photo and register your vote during the month of December, 2007: http://www.terrierclub.com/bestofshow.htm

Westie kisses to all! I'll try my hardest to get some photos to share of my transformed home.

Only 25 days until Christmas!! Oh No...I hope Santa doesn't read about todays capers :S I will be on my best behaivour for now on.

I've been christmas tagged! Woohooo

So, with this new version of tag I have to list some things I would love Santa Paws to bring me and then choose 5 pups to tag.

Dear Santa Paws, I think you might,
Pay me a call this Christmas night,
And when into my houses you creep
I promise you I'll be fast asleep!
But, this christmas, I don't wish for presents
I have all I need - even toy pheasants!
I'm surrounded by family and friends that care,
So this year my presents from you, I will share.
Paw-lease deliver them to needy dogs and cats across the globe,
Even clothes - there's not much more room in my wardrobe!
I hope there won't be rain or fog
On Christmas Night, Your loving dog.
Woofs and Wags,
Prince Caffrey Truffles Brown

Now, which 5 pups should I choose to tag? Hmmm...
1) Meggie (Kisses for sweet Meggie who sent me my first christmas card of the year.)
2) Chester (Only 4 months until he comes to visit England from Germany and we get to play together! It will be too much fun.)
3) Arnie (He's my new pal who lives right here in Milton Keynes. We're going to go walkies together soon! Yay!)
4) Chelsea (She's a new member of Westies Unite but we already love her!)
5) Jade (How could I leave my beautiful girl out of the fun?!?)

Hey...Did you realise it's only 4 weeks until Christmas today? Wooohooo!

Months Until Christmas: Less than 1
Days Until Christmas: 27
Hours Until Christmas: 652
Minutes Until Christmas: 39100
Seconds Until Christmas: 2346000 (Well, Less than that by the time I've finished barking)

Today, I recieved my first christmas card of the year! It was from one of my bestest pals - Meggie. Have you met sweet Meg? You must do and make sure you read her story...She really is inspirational. Anyway, the card she sent is so beautiful and it has a 3D westie on the front and sparkley snowmen. I've made sure Mummy displays it where everyone can see it often. Picture of me and my beautiful card.

During this week the family and I will be decorating the house. It takes us quite a while to decorate the house since we have so much christmas stuff! This year we have 23 large boxes of christmas ornaments and decorations to get out (the number goes up each year). If you haven't already guessed - No Scrooges here! We LOVE christmas! :D

On Sunday, I'm travelling with the family to Wales for a family get together! It will be really great since we don't often get to be all together in the same room since we span across England, Scotland and Wales. I'm sure I'll get lots of attention and love from them all, and maybe some pressies, too! Wonder what I should wear?

Love to y'all (Maggie's proud since she's got me talking like an american!)

It's only 37 days to go until Christmas! Woooohoooo :D

Today, Mummy helped me to re-decorate my page for the christmas season. Yay! I now have snow falling on my page and new animations. It's definately beginning to feel a lot like christmas!

Just over a week ago Mummy started preparing presents and cards for christmas. Since she couldn't find any cute westie cards in the shops, we're making christmas cards with ME on them this year. We've got several designs - me dressed as Santa in the snow, dressed as an elf, playing with christmas lights in a santa hat and me in my reindeer outfit surrounded by lights. In my opinion, I have been ever so helpful...I think I deserve extra presents this year! I have been tearing the paper off the roll for Mummy to wrap up the presents, running off with bows and one day, I got my nose in the glitter pot (Mummy wanted to sprinkle parts of the cards with glitter). hehe!

In just over a weeks time the humans will begin to decorate the house . It takes about a week to do because Nanny decorates the house from head to toe! so we will be all ready for the 1st December. The tree is Mummy's favourite and it's becoming mine, too! You see, each year since the arrival of me the Disney ornaments that 'own' the tree are being challenged by an ever-growing collection of westie decorations. Come on Westies - You can take over the entire tree! Once the tree is up the presents can start to be placed underneath it's glistening branches! Yeah! Last year Nanny found herself singing:

♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫
Catch the dog, he stole the presents!
Fa la la la la la la la la.
He thinks they're ducks or upland pheasants!
Fa la la la la la la la la.
Took them all while I was napping!
Fa la la la la la la la la.
Ripped the boxes and the wrapping!
Fa la la la la la la la la.
♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫ ♪♫

I have been a really good boy this year! Yes, I do like to be mischievous but only my family see that since I'm a little angel when out. My name will be on the Santa's good list!! I know I'll get lots of terrier-ific presents from my family and friends this christmas so maybe, just maybe, I should let some other dog who's not got the luxury of being as spoilt of me recieve my presents from Santa this year. I think Mummy will be very proud of me for that and possibly, buy me a little something today for being so sweet! What a great plan.

"Mummy, will you come help me write my letter to Santa Paws...I want it to rhyme like last year!"

Dear Santa Paws, I think you might,
Pay me a call this Christmas night,
And when into my houses you creep
I promise you I'll be fast asleep!
But, this christmas, I don't wish for presents
I have all I need - even toy pheasants!
I'm surrounded by family and friends that care,
So this year my presents from you, I will share.
Paw-lease deliver them to dogs and cats across the globe,
Even clothes - there's not much more room in my wardrobe!
I hope there won't be rain or fog
On Christmas Night, Your loving dog.

About half an hour we recieved a knock in the door, disturbing Mummy and I from our nap on the sofa. Mummy is home from school today with a cold and a sore throat so I'm taking full advantage of the situation and enjoying lots of cuddles! Anyway, It was a package from America containing my prize for winning 1st place in the *~Dogs UNLEASHED!~* halloween costume competition. Inside a pumpkin basket was:
-- Dubble Bubble toy
-- A one-eyed monster toy
-- Yummy treats decorated to look like candy corns
-- Kissable toothpaste and toothbrush

I'm really, really chuffed with my 'Boo Basket'! Big thankyou kisses go out to ♥ Molly ♥ who organised the competition and sent me the goodies!

Mummy's sister Claire rung up this morning, she's so worried about little Mitzi Kitzi. She got her leg caught this morning and is in a lot of pain - we think she may have broken her leg or foot as it looks mangled. Poor little thing! Claire called Milton Keynes veterniary centre to see if they could see her on an emergency appointment. She was informed that to give her pain killers would cost £200, x-rays would cost another £200 and the overall cost including an operation would be over £1000. Claire (being a single Mum of 3 young boys and in poor health) explained that she just couldn't afford that and little Mitzi is not insured yet due to her young age, their reply was "Get her put down then!" Claire just burst into tears when she heard this, she does love her little Mitzi. You would think a vet would love all animals and therefore suggest an alternative solution like the PDSA - A charity that can provide free or reduced veterinary care for people who cannot afford. Claire is currently on the phone to them right now and hopefully, will be able to take Mitzi to them as soon as possible today.
I promise to keep you all updated on Mitzi, I hope you will all pray for our tiny little girl.
Caffrey xxxxx

UPDATES:
Claire just called. It's just been confirmed that Mitzi has broken her leg in two places...when you look at the foot it is facing the opposite way than it should! One of the breaks is in her little paw, the other in her leg. Mitzi will be forced to rest for several days and take pain-killers as the one in her paw should repair itself in time. The one in her leg may also repair itself so in a few days Mitzi will have more x-rays. If her leg break has no signs of repairing itself an operation will be scheduled and paid for by the PDSA.

BANG!! BANG!! WHIZ!! BANG!! SCREECH!!

BANG!! BANG!! WHIZ!! BANG!! SCREECH!!

Fireworks have been annoying me all weekend and now tonight, too. You see, today is the 5th November and the celebrations commence several days before and continue for up to a week after. Everytime I hear a bang I fear for my family and start barking to protect them but, they don't seem to be scared off by me? I'm not totally against fireworks...I know some of these humans enjoy watching them but why do they have to be so loud?!?

I know what some of you may be asking...What's the big fuss about the 5th November?

"Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot..."

Words of "Remember remember" refer to Guy Fawkes with origins in 17th century English history. On the 5th November 1605 Guy Fawkes was caught in the cellars of the Houses of Parliament with several dozen barrels of gunpowder. Guy Fawkes was subsequently tried as a traitor with his co-conspirators for plotting against the government. He was tried by Judge Popham who came to London specifically for the trial from his country manor Littlecote House in Hungerford, Gloucestershire. Fawkes was sentenced to death and the form of the execution was one of the most horrendous ever practised (hung ,drawn and quartered) which reflected the serious nature of the crime of treason. The following year in 1606 it became an annual custom for the King and Parliament to commission a sermon to commemorate the event. Lancelot Andrewes delivered the first of many Gunpowder Plot Sermons. This practice, together with the nursery rhyme, ensured that this crime would never be forgotten! Hence the words " Remember , remember the 5th of November" The poem is sometimes referred to as 'Please to remember the fifth of November'. It serves as a warning to each new generation that treason will never be forgotten. In England the 5th of November is still commemorated each year with fireworks and bonfires culminating with the burning of effigies of Guy Fawkes (the guy). The 'guys' are made by children by filling old clothes with crumpled newspapers to look like a man. Tradition allows British children to display their 'guys' to passers-by and asking for " A penny for the guy".

A more exciting thing from the terrier's perspecitve happened today - I got my birthday package from Furby! I was so happy to see the package as I thought customs had stolen it...It's taken 20 days to make it's trip across the pond! Anyway, Inside I found a lovely card and two toys! A barkday cake that plays the happy barkday tune and a yellow and green bird that sqeaks! Here's a picture of me with my new toys.

Woofs and Wags,
Caffrey xx

P.S Mummy made me a terrier-ific animation to be my christmas e-card this year...If you're a great pal of mine and want to exchange christmas wishes online with me this upcoming december pawmail me your email address!

I've been busy voting in the 'The 3rd Annual World’s Coolest Dog & Cat Show'. I've seen so many of my pals and of course, I couldn't resist but 4 or 5 paws to you!

I've seen lots of fabulous pictures so far whilst voting and I've even spotted a few I bet on as finalists...It will be fun to see if any of them do appear :D

I have voted on 5011 of 15,895 total dog entrants and 351 of 7,879 total cat entrants. Do you know what that means?? I'm getting 75 zealies! Yeah! I'm trying to save up lots of zealies so I can give a large number of my pals christmas rosettes containing christmas wishes this December. Can you believe it's only 7 weeks until the big day?

Did you have a happy howloween?? I did! :D

On Halloween night I wore the wizard cloak and hat that Mummy had made me to greet the trick-or-treaters. We had about 5 lots come and they loved me! I recognised my Mummy's nephews even though they tried to act like scary pirates - I knew it was them sweet little boys under the costumes.

Mummy is extremely proud of herself and I for I have placed in lots of the hallowen contests that lovely pups have been running here at Dogster. Some prizes were awarded for the photo of me modelling my wizard cloak and hat Mummy made me, others were for an animation and one for the Westie pumpkin Mummy carved. It would be an understatment to say I am chuffed...I've been wagging my tail constantly all night wearing a big grin!

1st Place - *~Dogs UNLEASHED!~* Halloween Costume Contest
1st Place - Westies Unite Cutest Halloween Photo Contest
1st Place - Non Scary Halloween Animation Contest
2nd Place - Scary category, Halloween Bash 07
2nd Place - Westies Unite Cutest Halloween Animation Contest
Honourable mention - Pumpkin Patch 07

Thankyou to all of you who gave me stars, rosettes and zealies for placing in these contests. I also want to thank Molly and Cynthia from Fetch, LLC for the Boo Basket they are sending me for 1st place in the *~Dogs UNLEASHED!~* Halloween Costume Contest....I can't wait to discover what's in the basket!

I hope you all had an enchanting howloween. I'm looking forward to next year now, Mummy's already planned my costume - She's going to make it herself again!

Hi Furbuddies,
We're back from the Lakes...Did you miss us? Ay? The Lakes District sure is a beautiful place. Mummy and I wish we could have stayed there longer. Scamp and I had fun together. I wanted him to play chase with me but he wouldn't (he's much too mature for that) so instead I chased him whilst he played fetch with his Mum! hehe On saturday we found this large field beside one of the lakes where we were allowed off lead to run and run and run! Mummy and Mummy's Auntie (Scamp's Mummy) took lots of photos and video footage of us together. You can see the photos Mummy took here: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0CZt2LloybMX-g&notag=1
Hopefully, I'll soon have a video on my page of the weekend so you can see us in action.

I'm going to wear my sweater when I'm in the Lakes District, it will keep me nice and snug! I will probably wear my charms up there too, but only in the evenings - I would hate to loose any of them in the countryside! I leave late tonight for the Lakes District, I'm going with Mummy, Nanny, Grandaddy and Mummy's Nan. On Saturday my cousin Scamp will be meeting up with us, he's coming with Mummy's Aunties...We're all staying in the same accomodation. I'll make sure I get pictures to share! Talking of pictures, Mummy has me posing yesterday in my Dogster t-shirt...It was a belated barkday present. I have a picture of me in it on my page.

Happy Barkday to ME!
Happy Barkday to ME!
Happy Barkday dear ME-EEE!
Happy Barkday to ME!
♫♪♫♪

Well, If you haven’t already guessed, today is my Barkday. I am now 2 years old! I think today may be one the bestest (yes, that is now a word) days ever!

Mummy woke up earlier than normal this morning to bake me a barkday cake – A yummy Victoria sponge! Mmmmmm :D Whilst that was baking in the oven I opened the presents that my Mummy, Nanny and Grandaddy had already brought for me - a black leather jacket that has ‘Prince’ written on the back in silver and a stripey jumper. I also opened my present from Mitzi the Kitty, it was a red t-shirt that says ‘Throw me a bone’. Yup, more clothes for my wardrobe! After Mummy had got my cake out to cool down, the family took me to ‘Pets at home’ so I could choose a new bed or cushion. I chose this one called a dream bed…It’s furry in the middle and has faux leather surrounding it. At Pets at home I also spent the money Danny and Buster gave me, with it I brought myself a Loofah dog! It was the first time I had seen one for sale here in the UK so I just had to get it. I love my Loofah. At around 3pm I was allowed to open my present from my pal across the pond, Attie. He got me this ball that vibrates and jiggles about on the floor – I was (and still am) a little afraid of it so I’ve been barking at that lots. He also got me blue rope toy and a Dogster tag! The next event of the day was having happy birthday sung to me and sharing my home-made (baked with love) birthday cake! When 5pm arrived the whole family sat in front of the TV awaiting my birthday wishes from Paul O Grady….they never came  I was all set to record it so I could add it to my page, I was so disappointed.

This sure has been a special barkday! I would like to thank everypup who sent me a barkday picture, gave me a pretty gift for my page, pupmailed or posted in the forums – You helped this to be an extremely special day for me! MWAH

Woofs and Wags,
Caffrey xx

P.S I’ve got some more presents to come – Scamp is giving me something when we meet at the Lakes District later this week and my lovely girlfriend Jade and my pal Furby have sent me stuff from across the pond that hasn’t made it here in time, unfortunately. I’ll make sure to share with you what I get!

I'm it...Watch out, It may be you that I tag next :D

I've been tagged in the past few days by Grampa,Lucy Emily and Rocky.

Here are the rules of TAG in case you've never played it here at Dogster:
1. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself in a diary entry.
2. Then, pick 7 puppers to say something interesting about who you are going to tag - mention them at the end of your diary entry.
3. Make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged!

Right, so here are 7 more facts about me that are different from the previous time I was tagged.

*1. I'm going to have the best week ever (It's my Barkday on Monday, I'm going on a short holiday on Thursday and will play with Scamp as well as Danny and Buster)
*2. I have a light biege line down my back - That's the Cairn part of me.
*3. Members of my dogster group UK Woofers and I are going to raise money for the DogsTrust through a calendar which many of us are going to be stars of!
*4. I zoom around the lounge every evening!
*5. My coat is so thick that last time I went to the groomers I broke the lady's clippers!
*6. I love to sit out in the rain and daydream.
*7. Now this one is a real secret. Come close...closer...closer still. OK, Here is goes...I am a DOGSTER ADDICT!

Normally when I am tagged I go off to tag some pals close to my heart but this time I am going to find 7 pups who have joined Dogster yesterday or today so they can join in the dogster fun, too!
*Layla

Does anypup here watch Paul O Grady on weekdays? I'm sure some of my UK pals do! Don't you just love the part is the beginning? I like to sit in front of the TV wagging my tail at Buster or Olga (his Dogs). Anyway....Hopefully, on monday (22nd Oct) my name and photo will be shown on there! Mummy wrote in to wish me a happy barkday and enclosed a photo. I sure hope he does wish me a happy barkday and present my cuteness to the UK! Make sure you tune it as you may witness my television debut - Paul O Grady @ 5pm on Channel 4!!

I sure am getting excited about my barkday, I wonder what I will get? I heard Mummy and Nanny whispering about some clothes and a new bed! A few of my pals from America have sent me presents, too. Mummy can't believe I am going to be TWO! That works out to 14 in human years..hehe, I'm almost as old as my Mummy :D

Did I mention it's 3 days until my barkday? Yes! Oh..Well I think I'll tell you now about going to the Lake District! I go in 6 days and my cousin Scamp is meeting me there in 7 days. Today, He had to go to the 'poodle parlour' so I wouldn't show him up with my handsome-ness whilst there! BOL I'm hoping it's quiet and peaceful up there so Mummy will let me off lead to play with him!

Hello Furbuddies,
Today my Mummy turns 16 so I've been having fun helping her unwrap her presents and tear up them envelopes. Unfortunately, due to the Postal Strike here she hasn't recieved all her cards in time but hey, she can make her birthday last longer this way! This afternoon Mummy and Nanny are taking the train to London, they're going to have a fancy dinner, look around the shops and then go to see the show Grease. Mummy is going to try and have lots of fun but there will be a pup never far from her mind - Our lovely, sweet pal Tigger will be making her journey to the bridge tonight at 6.30.

Just to let you know that Caffrey has been chosen as Dog of the Week this week (runs Tuesday to Tuesday). I thought you might want to change his primary photo each day to keep it interesting - Just don't put the rain hat one on as I ask people to go to the kennel to look at this.
I'm sure you'll be delighted as very few get chosen but he is such a gorgeous dog and this is well-deserved.
Thanks for the great kennel and keep the photos coming of this little superstar.

Apart from Dogster this is the only other dog community I am part of. DoggySnaps is owned and run by the UK-based registered charity, Dogs Trust. This amazing charity cares for over 14,000 stray and abandoned dogs a year through its network of 17 re-homing centres. At Dogs Trust no healthy dog is ever destroyed and they campaign tirelessly to ensure a better future for dogs everywhere.

Good Evening Furbuddies,
I believe the last time my little paw wrote here was the day before Mummy's sister went to get little Mitzi. Well, Mitzi has been settling in well as you will see if you visit her page. She did give the family a scare though the other day when she was sick and then went all limp and lifeless...She's been to the vet and all seems well with her and Auntie Claire says she's proving to be a very lively and playful pup! We're planning to meet in the next few days. Fingers crossed there won't be any problems - There was two Yorkies living at her birthplace.
Gosh, I've been writing about Mitzi so much I forgot to tell you the group All Fur Fun have honoured me with Dog of the Day today! Isn't that terrier-ific?? Thankyou to those of you who sent me nice messages and to the lovely pup who chose me!
Hi Furbuddies,

Tomorrow Mummy's sister is getting a kitten, meaning I will have a cat for a cousin. I'm unsure what to think of this situation as us dogs are supposed to hate cats but, I also know many of my pup-pals here love cats.

Mummy is unsure whether or not to introduce us and if so, how? I've never had a bad or a good experience with a cat before so she's completely unsure about how I would react - She's also wondering whether the kitten would get scared and attack me. She would hate for either of us to get hurt!

I'm hoping somepup will have some advice to share with a little white dog.

I was just thinking to myself, as you do, that when I get famous in a few years time (as I plan to) somepup will want to write a book all about moi. Of course, It will be a bestseller because to be completely honest who wouldn't want to read about me! Anyway, I decided the write the introduction to my book and I'm putting it exclusively here in my Dogster diary. Why dogster? Because the best pups in the world are all here at Dogster!

"You're reading the biography of Prince Caffrey Truffles Brown...who personally, I think is a fine example of the Westie breed. I thrive on lots of attention and have lots of spirit. If I don't get the attention I deserve 24/7 from my family I ensure I get it by being naughty. I'm friendly to all but know who my people are, there is no doubt about that. There is nothing I love better than sleeping on my Mummy's lap. Bliss! Some words you could use to describe me are: Cheeky, Mischievous, Playful, Happy, Loving, Caring, and spoilt! I have lots and lots of toys and a passion for fashion. I have a wardrobe full of designer outfits and love to strut my stuff in them during my walks... They obtain me even more of that attention I love! My soft fur is white when I have a bath but often it is a brownish colour as I like to take part in the sport of rolling in mud or any other mucky substance that happens to be lying around. My eyes are black but at a second glance you will notice a mischievous glint hidden within their depths. I was born on the 22nd October 2005, I'm a D Flowerday bred Westie. My parents are: Sire: Dandy King, Dam: Kenyee Emma. I only stayed with them for a short 8 weeks of my life and have lived with my young Mummy, Nanny, Grandaddy and Bertie the cockatiel since December 2005. My family always take me out with them whenever I am allowed (and sometimes places where I'm not) and I have been to lots of terrier-ific places...I adore new places where there's lots of new smells and territory to mark. I am always on my best behaviour when out so people think I'm an angel. I've had several people offer my Mummy money to adopt me but she says I'm priceless and she couldn't imagine her life without me by her side. To be honest, I can't imagine my life without my her either. When I was young Mummy took me to training classes. I passed my British Kennel club puppy training and I'm also a CGC - I passed the British Kennel Club Good Citizens test in bronze and silver on 1st July 2006. See, I am a well behaved dog! Dogster came into my life in May 2006 and since then my Mum and I have made many friends that we treasure. I have been Dogsters Dog Diary of the Day (6th July 2006) and Dogsters Dog of the Day on the 11th January 2007!"

Dear Diary,
I am a little sad since it Is my Mummy's last day before she goes back that horrid place called school and it's back to sleeping all day whilst she isn't around to play with me. One of the most important years of her education being this one, I doubt I will be on Dogster so much - of course, I will still try to drop by almost daily for a short while and a little longer at weekends if my Mummy doesn't get snowed under with homework. Everypup, I think we should skip September and go to October - not only are mine and Mummy's birthdays in that month, She will also have a whole week off for half term!

Hi Furbuddies,
Do you remember me telling you that the car broke down on our way back from our holiday? Well, It was not worth reparing so we decided to get a new one. This afternoon, we all went to collect it. Mummy and Nanny are very pleased with it as it's lilac in colour and has some flowers on each side - very girly! Despite it being feminine, I must admit, I won't mind being chauffered around in it one bit :D

Pinch, Punch, first day of the month - No Returns! Hehe.

Hello my friends, how have you been this week?
I've been good, on Thursday I went to visit Mummy's Grandparents and Danny and Buster - That was a lot of fun! Mummy got some new photos of them for their page of them in their new bandanas which they recieved from a lovely dogster pal. They wore them proudly all day.
Apart from that my week has been pretty uneventful. I've been for my daily walks and met some new friends. I've slept quite a bit, too - Belly Up has been my favourite position this week.
Mummy says she starts back at school on Wednesday - the beginning of her final compulsary year. It's going to be strange for little me, I've been used to having her with me all the time during these past 6 weeks - Grandaddy, too. He'll be going back to teach his classes during the weekdays.

Well, I'm back from my two week holiday in Cornwall. Did you miss me? Aye? Awww, I missed you bunches too!

I had a pawsome time during my holiday since there's lots of new smells and things to explore down in Cornwall. As you will see from my holiday snaps, which I invite you to take a peek at, I love exploring. During the first week it was very sunny and warm which we all loved but during the second week it turned dull and rainy - Mummy's Nan who is 89 didn't appreciate that so much! The worst part of my trip was coming home because the car broke down. We ended up waiting almost 3 hours for a nice man to come see us to find it couldn't be fixed there so, we got towed 100+ miles home. Poor us!

Now I'm finally home I have many pupmails, rosettes and news to catch up on whilst Mummy unpacks our cases.

Unfortunately, you often find out the bad news before the good such as that my dear pal Bullseye has made his journey across the bridge at the age of 1 after being hit by and car. So tragic. Another piece of sad news is that we are having to cancel the UK Woofers meet and greet since Baxter's dad Pete who was kindly hosting it for us at his home will be in hospital having a heart bypass. Please say a prayer for each of these families.

I want to take a moment to say congratulations to each of my pals who have made DOTD, DOTW or DDOTD whilst I have been away and also happy belated barkday to anypup who was celebrating during the past two weeks - I wish I could have joined in all your celebrations!

Right, well while you are looking through my holiday snaps I might as well start to catch up on the past two weeks at Dogster - I'm sure they have been eventful as always.

Dear Diary,
I've been busy this morning helping Mummy pack my little suitcase as tomorrow afternoon, My family and I are off to Cornwall for two weeks. She's allowed me to have my own suitcase as I have so many things I wish to take with me - She says it's like taking a baby away. Well duh, I am her little baby!
I love Cornwall, I went there last year for a week. I get to go the beach and do tons of other fun stuff, too. I'll not be going swimming at the beach though, There's been reports of sharks off the coast of Cornwall! It may be a hoax but I'll play it safe and just paddle. I know I am going to have the best time there! I'll miss Dogster though as I will have very limited internet access. I know Mummy will be taking tons of pictures which I'll share with you all on my return.
When I come back from holiday Mummy's sister will have her little kitten. Mummy's not sure how she will introduce me to the kitten yet. I've never had a bad (or really good) experience with a cat before so she's not sure how I will react!
Well, I'm off to check that none of my favourite possessions are getting left behind.

Dear Diary,
Mummy's sister is going to get a little kitten in the next few days! There's 8 in the litter to choose from and they've got various colours and markings on them. Mummy's nephews have been asking for a cat for ages so imagine their faces when they find the little kitten when they return from their day at school. I sure hope this kitten likes dogs! I've never even got close enough to smell a cat before so I'm not sure whether I will like it or not.

I got love tagged today by my good pal Tyler. He's tagged me because I'm so cute! Thanks Tyler :D

So, this is the newest craze going around Dogster! It's called "You are loved!" Here's how it goes: Pick 3 dogsters who you think are just fantastic and explain briefly how pawsome they are! Be sure to tell them how much they are loved with a p-mail or a rosette! Isn't it hard to pick only 3? Boy, this is such a hard decision, I have so many pals that I love! Ok, I'll pick 3...

1) My girlfriend, Jayden Noelani.
2) My BFF, Atticus Finch
3) Another best friend of mine, Maggie

These three pups and their Moms are so special - I hope they know how much they mean to my Mum and I.

I sure hope I get love tagged again...There's so many pups I want to express my love for. If you're in my corral, know you are loved my little me!

Today, I have seen the sun and not just a glimmer either - It's been shining all day! I’ve been making the most of it laying in the garden and trying to get a tan - I’m ever so white. We also went to the field nearby to have a play, it was a little soggy but we still had fun there.

Poor England has been experiencing some terrible weather over the past few weeks - Months worth of rain in just days. I've been told that you pups from across the pond have been seeing the devastation on the news. Some areas of England are completely under water, isolated from the rest of Britain. I pray all my pup pals across the UK are safe and not flooded.

Oops, Sorry to knock you over I'm just so excited! Today was Mummy's last day in Year 10 at school, she has come to the end of the school year - at last!! Now I have 6 whole weeks of Mummy's undivided attention. Yippee! Just think of the things we can do together in 6 weeks with no school or homework to get in the way. We've made several plans already such as going to Cornwall for 2 weeks, going to Wales to see Danny and Buster and most exciting of all, the UK Woofers meet and greet where I get to sniff about 20 fellow dogster puppers. Oh boy, My tail starts wagging just at the thought of it!
The weather has been rather gloomy here in England during the past few weeks - lots of rain and little sunshine. I've been searching for the sun, I think he has been kidnapped. Apparently, my friends across the pond in the USA have been having long, hot sunny days - I sure hope it's not them who are holding Mr. Sun hostage. I know we're not allowed to growl here but, if they have stolen him I am going to go and bite their butts until they return him! I may be small but I am tough - believe me!

Hi Everypup!

I had a terrierific time in Scotland. We was all so sad to go home, we wanted to stay forever! Mummy promises me that in a few years we will live in Scotland....I can't wait until that day comes.

We've uploaded a few photos from our trip to Scotland which you can find
here.

If you want to know who anyone/anypup is in the photos or where they were taken give me a bark. There's a few of me with my cousin Scamp!

These are just a few of the ones from Mummy's camera - She'd taken lots. I will have some more to share at a later date.

Hi Furbuddies,
Tomorrow (Thursday) I am traveling up to Scotland! I'm so excited! Mummy and I packed yesterday. Nanny said we had to condense our stuff down to one small suitcase between us - Boy, was I worried there wouldn't be room for any of my stuff! You should see how much my Mummy takes for an overnight stay and we're gone for almost a week :o Luckily, I've managed to make room for the most important things - Treats and toys!! I also managed to fit in my kilt and several other items of clothing so my style doesn't slip (Pawlease don't tell Mummy I turfed out her precious makeup - I have a reputation as king of fashion consider). Mummy's uncle Brian will be driving us on the 9 hour trip in his Jaguar so I'll be traveling in style. His dogs, Danny and Buster, aren't allowed in his car. I have had to promise to be on my best behavior (like I'm ever anything else) to be allowed to travel in his car.
You may be wondering why I am going to Scotland?!? No, I'm not going to search my ancestors and trace my scottish roots. The whole reason we are going to Scotland is because this Saturday Mummy's Aunties (who are Scamp's Mums) are getting civil partner-shipped! Pawlease, everypup raise your glasses in a toast (and possibly leave a little gift on Scamps page) to Fiona and Lorraine on their special day! We wish you many years of happiness together.
Hopefully, I will get to play with cousin Scamp whilst there. I think he will like me if I don't jump up and try and give him a westie hug or steal any of his toys (I've heard he's not very good at sharing).
Please send me positive thoughts for a safe journey - I hope to have lots of new photos on my return next Wednesday.
Woofs and Wags,
Prince Caffrey xx

Yesterday,I received the cake on my page! I've been a dogster for a whole year - I can't believe it. In some ways it seems we have been part of this community forever and I can't imagine my life without Dogster.
I love you all so much! Mummy wants to write something now so....
Kisses,
Caffers xxxxx

Our dogster story began May 24th 2006. I received an email from my Auntie announcing Snozzle and Scamp were on the web. I just had to sign Caffrey up! I didn’t have high expectations of the site and never imagined for one second I would meet so many lovely people with such beautiful pups. I soon found out how much fun Forums and Groups were - Caffers had travelled around the world with his pals in a matter of weeks after he had joined! I couldn't believe how much fun this site was! In August, we had our first real heartbreak on here - Caffrey's little friend Isis became an angel. That’s when we realized this community provided everything; not only fun but love and understanding! This amazing Dogster family doesn’t just talk and care about the pups, it cares and supports the owners too. When one pup has sadly had to begin a new journey as an Angel we all cry at the loss but together, we seem to get through the storms and focus on the good memories. When things are really not going right in life, Dogster always seems to bring a glimmer of sunshine into the day by thinking positive. I have met many people here who I believe will be my friends for life. I love that here, at Dogster, I feel I can talk to people here and not get judged and critized. This site has told me that there are still people that care in this world-not everyone is unkind like it sometimes seems. Last year, I was bullied, It affected me deeply and I'm still recovering from the ordeal, I believe Dogster has helped me immensely!!
I am so thankful that someone, up there, guided me to this site!

The Rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged need to write down in there own diary about 7 random facts and the rules! You need to choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment saying they have been tagged and to read your dairy!
So, here is 7 things you may know or don't know about little me :o)

1. My biological Step Brother, Freddie, is one of my neighbours.
2. I am the most expensive thing Mummy has puchased (But I'm worth it).
3. I catch a ball with my paws, not my mouth!
4. In two days, I will have been a Dogster for a whole year.
5. I still visit my biological parents and my Breeder as she is a trained westie groomer!
6. I sometimes forget I am a dog and try to fly after pesky crows!
7. My Mummy is the only person I am allowed to kiss on the lips :D

The pups I will tag are:
Jayden Noelani
Maggie

Just for the record, I have not had a sex change and became a girl, despite what my picture may suggest!

Here's the story:
We was looking for a barkday present for my good dogster friend, Maggie. Mummy saw the dress on the internet and she knew we had a store nearby that stocked it. It was getting near to her barkday so Nanny had to go whilst Mummy was at school. Nanny didn't know which size to buy so, she brought the one that looked right. Unsure, when she came home she put it on me to try for size.

I wouldn't have minded if it hadn't been a pink dress!! Me, In a pink dress!! OMD...How embarrasing! Not even Mummy would do that to me! And, to make matters worse Nanny took some photos!!

Caffrey in a pink dress

Dear Diary,
It seems I brought a little friend back from my holiday in Somerset - A little brown thing with legs which turned out to be a little female tick who wished to live the rest of her life embedded in my nose. When Mummy first saw it she thought it was a grass seed so she touched it, it didn't budge and then she saw little legs moving. She then screamed " Aaaaaaaahhhhh, It's a tick". Despite being taught during my puppy class she couldn't remember whether to twist it when removing it or not. She tried to contact my old trainer but there was no answer. Next place I went was Westies Unite - they were helpful as always but Mummy found it too daunting to do by herself at home so she called the vet. Luckily, they had a free half hour so as long as we got there during the next half an hour they would remove it from my poor nose. So, off we went to the vets. The vet got it out whilst Mummy held me still. Once the tick had been killed the vet showed Mummy it, it was big and apparently a female. The vet also taught Mummy how to remove ticks for any future encounters with ticks. Mummy brought this little device to use to remove ticks that makes sure you definitely get the head out as well as the body so we can deal with them ourselves in future!
So, there you have it....Mine and Mummy's first ordeal with a tick.

Morning Puppers,
Mummy has a suitcase packed so I’m presuming I’m off on holiday for a few days :D I sure hope I find out where soon, although, on the other hand I do love surprises!! Oh boy, I’m going away with Mummy!! :D I’m so excited my tail is just a blur :D
Well I better make sure Mummy has remembered to pack my Babble Ball as it’s hidden in the drawer…..be right back

----------------------------------------

Hi Pups, Caffrey’s Mummy Bekka here. I thought I better come on whilst Caffrey went searching for his ball to tell you that If you don’t see Caffers online much for the next two weeks it’s because I will be in Scotland on work experience. I will be living with my Aunties and their dog, Scamp. I have to do two weeks of work experience as it's required by school. Caffers will not be with me, he will be staying with my parents. I have never been away from him or my parents this but I know it will be a great experience. My suitcase is packed and I will be leaving for the airport very shortly after (what I’m sure will be a tearful) goodbye to my little Caffrey who will not be accompanying me to the airport as my parents hope to stay with me as long as possible. I will be in the air around noon, please keep me in your thoughts for a safe journey.
Take care everyone,
Bekka

----------------------------------------

Mummy wouldn't let me put my ball in the case :( I sure hope she isn't going without me...surely she would have let me put my ball in if I was going with her!! My Mummy never ever leaves me..she wouldn't do such a thing.

Dear Diary,
This morning I woke up to a blanket of white. Mummy opened the door and the usual green grass of my garden had disappeared. A little unsure, I stuck my nose into the mysterious white stuff before letting my paws touch it. It sure was cold but it seemed safe so I ran out in it! Zooming around the garden I totally forgot to have my morning pee..I was overcome with excitement!! Mummy told me this stuff was called snow-the stuff all my American dogster buddies had been mentioning these past few months. Mummy, afraid of me getting a chill, brought me inside to listen with her to the radio...we eagerly waited to hear that Mummy and Grandaddy\'s (he\'s a teacher) schools where closed. After cheering with glee to hear school was closed we all wrapped up warm and went for a long walk/play in the snow. I got lots of snowballs stuck to my legs which slowed my running down a little but nevertheless, I had tons of fun! Once home, Grandaddy, Mummy and Nanny started to build a snowman. We hardly ever get snow here in Milton Keynes so they hadn\'t built one together for years. In the end, the snowman was over 6 ft; taller than Grandaddy! I kept trying to jump up to steal the carrot nose but this snowman was just too darn tall...Hmmph. Mummy and Grandaddy took plenty of pictures during our snowday, you can find some of them here: http://www.slide.com/channel_finder?pcid=x9SPZE6PcgpHhjZkqwLBVP8zXW_IgSX9tXuKYvnIKBk&view=large

What do you get?? Dog of the Day!!!! Arrrrroooooooooooooooooooooo

Can you believe it?? I'm Dog of the Day? Wow, I feel like a big celebrity now as this is my second time on the front page (I was Diary of the day once). HQ haven't gave me much time to prepare myself for this occasion (I only found out this morning) but I suppose I better make a thank you speech. Here it goes.....
I wish to thank my Mummy, for helping me take pride in my dogster page. She's the one that makes me pose for the photos you all see and makes my animations. I love you Mum! I wish to thank my Nanny and Grandaddy as they pay for my internet connection. I wish to thank Mummy's Aunts, Lorraine and Fiona, for introducing us to Dogster when Snozzle and Scamp joined back in May. HQ, I also want to thank you for all the work you put into this site as well as choosing me for Dog of The Day. Now, I want to also thank all my wonderful dogster pals that span across the globe, it's you that makes Dogster such a wonderful community to be a part of. Please, pups that have left me lovely pupmails and messages in the forums accept my apoligies for not responding to each of you separately. I need to express my thanks to each pup that left me a rosette today, I wish I had time to pupmail each of you separately but am doing this in the hope you will all see how grateful I am. Here's a list of my terrier-ific friends who left me gifts on my special day: Comu, Joey, Maggie, Rascal, Tobie, Lacy, Stator, Charlie, Lord Pippin, Lily & Ringo, Clover, Daisy, Benny Blanco, Sassy Girl, Jeannie, Cooper, Diesel, Sampson, Diesel, Roxi, Parker, Kaiser, Furby, Zak, Gibbon, Spring, Dozer, Jayden Noelani, Roxie, Lola, Sassy, Sofia, Cosmo, Suzie, PennyAnn, Pooh Bear, Chii, Jelly, Lucy, Griffen, Meagan, Samuel Jacob, Mr. Myles Rann and Beagan.

This Morning, Mummy recieved a very special call from America. It was Cindy, Atticus Finch's Mom calling to wish us a very, merry christmas. Boy, Was it a shock for Mummy...She had only dreamt of hearing her voice! By the evening, I think Mummy, finally has got over the shock of talking to Cindy and the tears of joy stopped. Santa Paws was good to me, I have got a tie, a dinner shirt, a stripey jumper and lots and lots of toys, too!! For Dinner we had 9 people here, including 3 young boys with sacks full of presents and a grumpy Nan...I'm sure you can imagine how hectic it can be at times. I got fed up a few times and went to my crate to sleep with all my new toys. A highlight of our day had to be when Grandaddy made it 'snow', he has a fake snow machine you see! He did it out an upstairs window and our garden was soon covered in a white blanket, you should have seen the looks on Mummy's Nephews faces when they saw it was 'snowing' outside-Priceless! (A bit like when Mummy recieved her call this morning BOL)
Anyway, That's a quick summary of my christmas day.
I hope you all had a fantastic day filled warmth, love and happines!!
Hugs and Kisses,

Pay dogs a call on Christmas night,
And when into our houses you creep
I promise you I'll be fast asleep.
Paw-lease could you bring me a ball,
As well as some stuffed animals, soft and small,
And oh, I'd like some biscuits too,
Some nice big bones for me to chew.
I'd rather like some sugar mice,
And a cosy jumper that's very nice.
I hope there won't be rain or fog

Dear Diary,
Rainbow bridge has another bird singing tonight-Mummy's little budgie Cartman. We found him this morning in the corner of his cage-he had left us during the night. He looked calm so we are confident he had a peaceful passing. Cartman was 6 years old which is a long life for a Budgie. Claire, Mummy's sister, got him originally but when she went on Holiday we looked after Cartman and he never went home! Cartman and our Cockatiel, Bertie, became best friends and Claire felt he would live a better, calmer life with us. Mummy says we have been so blessed to have him this long as on 24th December 2004 we discovered a cancerous growth on his wing. He could have operated on but there was 10% chance of the little guy pulling through and he still seemed to be enjoying life. For two years he has fought, he's been such a brave little warrior! Right up until last night little Cartman had been singing away, he was such a happy little chap. His favourite thing to sing to was the vaccum!
Rest Peacefully Cartman.
I know Bertie will miss you very much......his best friend, his singing partner

Dear Diary,
Mummy returned from Scotland with some bad news to tell Dogsters. My Scottish Furcousin Snozzle went to rainbow bridge early on Sunday Morning. Unfortunatley, I never got to meet Snozzle but I know how handsome and sweet he was from all the emails. Rest Peacefully Snozzle, I hope you have had fun haunting your Mummies today on Halloween. I know many horrible looking creatures have come to my door today asking for treats! Mummy had me in one of my Halloween T-Shirts with a small Bat hanging from my collar. We kept going to the door and she gave them sweets....Why is she giving away MY goodies?? I growled at a few for taking them, they never got my permission to take any!!!
Have a terrier-fying Halloween
Caffers xx

Dear Caffers Diary, Mummy Bekka here.
Snozzle was very miserable, he tried to keep going but just couldn't keep holding on any longer~His body was giving up. By Saturday night he was so depressed, I knew my Aunties would have to let him go soon. They didn't want to do it whilst I was there but in the end had to anyway. He had been continuosly in pain throughout the night, keeping my aunties awake. They took him downstairs but found he could not even stand without collapsing. They knew that his time had come-The bridge was waiting for Weedy. The vet came around 5.30, Snozzle even managed a very weak wag for her as he knew her well. He went very peacefully into a forever sleep. The vet offered to take him then but my Auntie refused. She wanted Snozzle to be at the house when his soul left him so he would be with them forever. I was so happy I could see you one last time before you left us. I have many fond memories Snozzle (including him humping my arm) and will still keep your photo on my dressing table, where it has been for quite a few years now.
Bekka....Sending Love to my Aunties and Scamp in Scotland and also to Snozzle who's watching over them
xxxxxxxxxx

P.S Snozzle's page is http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=318637&j=t if you wish to send him good wishes

Dear Diary,
I know, I know, I promised to write on my barkday and never did. My barkday was so busy I just never got the chance, it was full of cake, presents, cuddles, treats and paw-tees!! For my birthday I got:
1. New Kong
2. New Bed
3. A toy Squirrel
4. A cowboy hat and bandana
5. My WU Bandana from Attie :D
6. A toy rooster!
From my dogster pals I got rosettes-lots of them!! All special and full of sweet birthday wishes. I think I am going to take this opportunity to say Thanks to everyone who has sent happy birthday wishes by either posting in forums, pupmailing or giving me pretty rosettes/stars!! Thanks for making my 1st Birthday extra special!
On Wednesday I travelled to Wales to see my new baby cousin Danny. He is a blue Mare border collie, 6 weeks old last tuesday. He instantly fell in love with Mummy and was very playful. There are some pictures and footage of him on my new video. Then we continued our journey to Banwell castle where we was staying for the night. I was told it was haunted, I promised to protect Mummy but when I was there I would not settle and had to sleep with Nanny and Grandaddy instead. On thursday we went to *Deep breath* the beach, Cheddar Gorge and stonehenge!! I had a great social life and played with 7 westies today (All girls, lucky me!!) Some of their names were:
~Bridie (She was only 14 weeks old, so adorable and fluffy!)

Today, Mummy is flying to Scotland with Uncle Craig. They are going to stay with my Aunties and Snoz and Scamp. Poor little Snoz is a very poorly little chap at the moment so I will try not to be jealous of him having my Mummy for a few days. I bet she will have a great time, I will miss her loads but she will miss me just as much. She will be back on Halloween, doubt if I will have any dogster time during her little trip so I hope you all stay well!!

Dear Diary,
Sorry I have not written for so long. Mummy has been ill for around 4 weeks and then had lots of catching up at school, consequently, my dogster time decreased. Since my little paws last scribbled on this paper there have been many birthdays in my family, My Mummy's 15, Mummy's nephew Blake's 5 th Birthday and Grandaddy's Birthday. Tomorrow is my turn...I will be turning the grand old age of 1! Mummy cannot beleive it is possible, That means in 6 weeks time it will be the anniversary of the day Mummy first set eyes on me.
She remembers that day so well, I was so small and we played with a ball of wool. I had a little accident whilst she was there too. She knew I was the pup for her as soon as she saw me, I waddled along like a little duck and cuddled up close letting her know that she was also the one for me. Grandaddy and Nanny were there too, I had a moment with each of them too. I was happy to be meet such a nice pack of people. They left, I had no idea if they would return, Mummy had showered me with kisses as she left so I was sure she would return. A few days later on the 18th December I saw the people once again. This time Mummy was carrying a blanket, she wrapped me up like a new born baby. My breeder said her goodbye to me and I was carried to the car. I shivered slightly, unsure what was happening but never cried. I snuggled down in the car and slept on Mummys lap, She was all smiles and singing to me. Then I was sick all over Mummy-After that I travelled on Mummy's lap. Once home, they put me in my crate so I could sleep and gradually get accustomed to my new home. Mummy already was sure I would be a fashionable pooch and I had this little coat to wear when she took me to go potty.
Boy, Am I a lucky pup to find such a great family and with great, loving family comes presents when it's your birthday! I will write tomorrow what I recieve~I hope some of it is WRAPPING PAPER! BOL
I will write again soon, when I am one :D

Dear Diary,
Today I write with an extremely heavy heart as two of my westie pals passed to the bridge today. Beloved Woodie (the most terrier-ific friend a dog could ask for) and dear little Phoebe (my fellow British chum.
All day it had been raining outside and I could sense something was wrong but I never guessed that it would turn out to be such a sad day. Mummy came home from school and I whined until she let me on Dogster, On the message board was a note from Phoebe's Mum, she had become an angel earlier this morning. I had only had the pleasure of meeting Phoebe a few weeks ago. Mummy's sister was admitted to hospital today so I was not allowed my dogster time so when she returned from handing the children over to Nanny we saw our beloved Woodie had joined his sister Kelsey and the other watching over us from the bridge. It was only last week I found out Woodie was battling cancer and then both Phoebe and Woodie were taken from us by the disease on the same day.
So now it is not only raining outside but raining in my heart aswell :(
With tears in my eyes I raise my Glass to Phoebe and of course Woodie! I have many fond memories that I will cherish forever and I'm sure there will still be many more to come.
You may be gone but you have left your little paw prints on my heart furever!

Dear Diary,
I am so excited....I might get my picture up on TV!! Mummy and I watch the Sharon Osbourne show everyday at 5pm. She is always saying if you have a pampered pooch let us know so today we did :D

It will be so pawsome if I get on TV and my Idol Minnie might see it. She's my idol as she gets to bite all the celebrity guests. Boy, Would I like to do that!!
We sent lots of photo's of me and also a video of me saying Hello.
Here's what we wrote:

Dear Sharon O,
Hi, I’m Caffrey, a pampered little westie who watches your show all the time. I love you but I love Minnie more, I often woof at her but I never get a woof back :( When I saw you wanted pictures of some pampered pooches, I thought I had better send you some of me as I am incredibly spoilt. You wouldn’t believe how much money Mummy and Nanny have spent on me since they got me last December!
Now, let’s tell you some facts about me:
1. My Favourite foods are Roast Dinners and Salmon-Whatever it is it must be served with green beans!! They are my favourite vegetable as you can pretend they are wriggly wormies as you slurp them up (Yum, Yum.)
2. I love dressing up and Mummy has taken millions of pictures of me throughout the first ten months of my life. I can be annoying at times when she expects me to wear PINK bunny ears despite the fact I am a boy! Mummy has taken so many photos she had to make me my own website to accommodate them all.
3. I’m a very paw-pular woofer, and have many doggie pals all over the world, including America, Canada, Germany and Australia. I talk to them on the internet often and we all love to share stories. When I told them I was writing to you they all wanted my Paw-tograph!
4. My best tricks are saying ‘No’ and ‘Hello’- I thought you may not believe me so I got Mummy to film me saying hello as evidence to send to you.
Well, I think that is enough from little ole me for now. I hope you enjoy looking the few photo's I have attached and watching my little video.
Westie kisses to you Sharon, and make sure you pass some slobbery kisses on to gorgeous Minnie from me aswell!!

All you UK pups keep watching Mrs O and maybe (if we all keep our paws crossed) in the next few weeks Prince Caffrey will appear on your screen! :D

Dear Diary,
Today Mummy and I have been updating my website. There's quite a few new things so if you have the time check it out! http://www.cutiecaffrey.piczo.com
Yesterday, was Labor Day in the USA. Until a week ago I never even knew what Labor Day was but found myself yesterday at a BBQ celebrating with all my Westie Chums. Boy, do we have a great time when we paw-tee. It was a shame when I had to leave so early (I hate time-difference!!)
Mummy only has 2 days left now unitl she starts back at school and is busy all the time. I have really enjoyed the time off, I got into a whole new schedule with just the right balance of Dogster, Play, Walkies and Treats but that is all going to be brushed away to make room for homework and boring things like that.
Oh, I know something I never told you. I came 3rd in SnobbyDogs for August, this month my girl Jayden is in it. We have got to have a Westie win it as all the westie I know have only got Bronze! So if you feel like voting-vote for Jade! BOL
I better go now really, Nanny will be home from work soon and I have got to show her all the new things on my Website after having a good nibble of her toes.

Dear Diary,
I woke up this morning to find myself in the Dogster Kennel with my profile under review. Boy, did I wonder what was happening. I got my mummy to contact HQ as she had no guesses why. Anyway, at that time the Dogster people were still tucked up in bed so me and all my pals started a campaign for my release! It was a lot of fun despite the fact I was not allowed access to many features. I put a new page on my Website with all the protest pictures on: http://www.cutiecaffrey.piczo.com and my pals set up threads in the forums pleaing for my support.
We were trying to think of reasons why someone would report little innocent me and came up with lots of things like they were jealous of my relationship with jade ect. but we never came close to what the actual reason was.
At around 9:36 am, about 6 hours after I had first discovered I was in Dogster Jail I was free'd. Dogster emailed me saying someone had found my Music video innapropiate. I have no idea what the inappropiate content was but it had to be removed and I have to respect that. The only thing I can think of is the artist was the 'pussycatdolls'. I'm not keen on Cats but the song was a song Mummy had sung to me when I was a few weeks old and I enjoyed having it on my page.
Anyway, I am now a free citizen, ready to cause trouble all over Dogster so beware!! BOL!!
Wait, before I go I want to say a big Thanks to all my pals who supported me. I sent most of you pupmails saying thanks but if I missed you I am sorry!!

Dear Diary,
I have been ever so hyper since my return from holiday. So hyper I have been told of a few times for being too yappy and trying to take charge, Mummy even gave me an eye to eye talk yesterday. Now today I had been better behaved, or so Mummy thought. Mummy was busy on the computer making an animation for one of my pals, thinking I was snuggled up in bed. Ring, Ring. The phone rang so Mummy went to answer it and found me with a pile of ripped paper and a chewed up TV remote. I gave her an 'Uh-Oh' look and dashed off with the remote in my mouth. Mummy knows I did it as I was bored becauause If I don't like what is on telly I simply turn it off by the button on the side. I learnt that at a very young age. She soon caught me but I gave her my puppy eyes which saved me from being told off by her. The problem is soon Nanny and Grandad will be home and they are not going to be too pleased, they are not soo easy to get around so I better start thinking of some place to hide, Quick. Well I might have got attention like I wanted but not quite the kind I was hoping for :(
Oh No, I'm in even bigger trouble now!! I have smashed one of Nanny garden ornaments. Boy, is she going to be angry. I have even more reason to hide in disgrace now!!

For my holiday pictures go here: http://pic6.piczo.com/CutieCaffrey/?g=21734585&cr=6
Dear Diary, I have returned from my exciting Holiday. It took ten hours to journey home yesterday and I got so fed up with the traffic!! I had such a terrier-ific time but never stopped thinking about all my pals, I got Mummy to write notes of what we had done each day so I could inform everyone about it when I got home which is what I’m about to do now. My Mummy said I was extremely well behaved throughout the holiday, and described me as a little star :D
On Sunday 13th August I was woken early from my ‘handsome’ sleep to prepare for a long journey to Devon, The starting point of my holiday. Grandaddy filled the car to the brim with all our cases, It was quite a squash with just all my stuff let alone my family’s! We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon.
On Monday 14th August I found a new love; the beach! As soon as my paws stepped onto the soft, golden sand I was hooked. Mummy walked me towards the sea and without any hesitation I waded in. I galloped around the shores of the Atlantic Ocean as if I were a little pony. Boy, Did I have fun getting all wet and sandy.
On Tuesday 15th August I went on an old steam train. At first sigh I shivered from head to tail. It was ever so noisy but I soon settled and rode it through the countryside! Chooo Chooo
On Thursday 17th August I went to a gnome reserve. All the family had to wear silly gnome hats so the gnomes felt at peace! I didn’t like it much and growled at various gnomes. One gnome had the cheek to keep laughing at me, I’m not the one standing in a forest all day with a permanent smile. I should have laughed at him.
On Friday 18th August the sun shone so we went to the beach, yes that wonderful place! I had lots of fun and even met a little 12 week old westie pup called Angus. We gave each other westie hugs whilst his Mummy asked my Mummy about my soft harness.
On Saturday 19th August I left Devon for Cornwall. Luckily, It was only a two hour drive.
On Sunday 20th August I went to Jamaica Inn-A famous place for smugglers. A book has also been written about it. I had a drink in the bar and even stepped over the spot where Joss Merlyn was murdered. After that we travelled to Port Isaac which is a quaint little town where a TV Series is set. A summer fete was being held and I saw a famous designer there called Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. I was wearing my little stripey t-shirt and hoped he would comment on my style but no such luck 
On Monday 21st August I went to Boscastle, It was packed with Woofers. Boscastle was destroyed by floods two years ago and they have only just rebuilt it. Mummy and Grandad took me up a cliff to look down at the spectacular, ocean view. Then Mummy and Nanny took me into the witchcraft museum. I was disappointed as Dogs were never mentioned in there, just cats. Hmph. My Humans found it interesting though.
On Tuesday 22nd August we went shopping in Newquay. I got a brand new collar for being such a little angel on holiday. My new collar is tarten with silver westies on it-very different to my old baby blue one. Then to top of the day I found out that I will be going to Scotland next year! I am so happy for my great Aunties as they are going to have a civil ceremony. I have already got Mummy is search of a kilt for the occasion.
Wednesday 23rd August was my first day of rest since my holiday began. My family went went to the Eden project and I wasn’t allowed. They left me in the hotel room, safe within my crate.
On Thursday 24th August I went to the beach. I dug a large hole in the hope I would reach America and all my pals. Unfortunately, I was too much hard work and the sand kept getting up my nose 
On Friday 25th August I went to the most westerly part of England- Land’s end. At that point I was only 3147 miles away from New York, the closest I have ever been to many of my pals across the pond. I met a little girl Westie there called Jessica, and we really got on well. Don't worry Jayden, I still love you! After that we proceeded to look at St. Michaels Mount which is a monastry built on rocks out to sea.
I really had a great holiday, as you can see from above. But I am pleased to be home now and back to Dogster!

Dear Diary,
This may be my last entry for over two weeks as I am going on holiday with my family early Sunday Morning. Mummy and I have been struggling to get all our stuff in one case. She wants all her clothes and stuff, but I need room for my t-shirts and toys(which are more important!) I tried dragging stuff out and donking it down the stairs but she spotted me. :( I will only have only got a few outfits with me but atleast I have lots of treats and toys, which are obviously better than clothes. I have a long car ride on Sunday, hopefully Mummy will put some music on and I can watch Great Nanny (who is nearly 90) do a funny little dance. I will probally spend a lot of time curled up asleep on Mummy's lap. I cannot wait to get there, Mummy and I are sharing a room together so we will stay up late and have midnight feasts =)
The thing I am looking forward to the most is the beach. I have heard so many wonderful things about it. Oh....Water, Sand, and Seagulls to chase. Boy, is that going to be fun. I sure hope it is quite hot so I can have a scrummy Icecream each day to cool me down.
I sure am going to have a pawsome time, but I will be missing all my Dogster pals terribly. No dogster for two whole weeks, how am I going to survive. No games in the forums, No dates with Jayden, No chats on Westies Unite!!
I have got to find an internet cafe when on Holiday to check up on everyone because I don't think I can live without Dogster now, I must admit I am starting to think I am addicted! And another reason to check up is my 'pal' Benny secretly wants to steal Jayden from me before she is even mine!! Waaaah, Jade and I have only been on one date and already someone is trying to split us up!!
I'm sure I can trust Jade, she's a smart girl despite being as gorgeous as a model, and I'm sure she will miss me as much as I will miss her! Hmm, I better steal some money to take so I can buy her a gift.
Diary, can you please look after everypup whilst I am away and ensure all pups stay Happy and Well.
I'm going to miss you Dogster, no matter how mcuh fun I have!!

Mummy has been smiling alot the last few days, all because she got her braces off! Her teeth are free at last. I would hate to have braces, wouldn't that look so strange on me. I wonder if a dog has ever had braces before?? Hmmmm....
On Thursday we had our Buffett concert at WU, It was a bunch of fun but extremely hot. Woodie had to keep the drinks on extra ice to keep them cool but the ice kept melting really quick. Just think, A week ago I had never heard of Jimmy Buffett being English and now I have attended his concert. What a difference a week makes. Today is sunny, but not too hot. I just though I would tell you that I am entered in the Snobby Dogs Contest. I had actually forgotten I had entered until Sweet Maggie reminded me.
I would really appreciate any votes, to vote you can go here: www.snobbydogs.com/contest_vote.cfm
The most exciting thing happened earlier, I posted in a forum where someone had got a secret admirer and then next thing I knew I got an anonymous rosette, it read:
"I'm not Rosie or Gracie or Jeanie, but still.....
You're a very cute pup, and you always will
Have a special place in my puppy heart!
I'm not a secret admirer, but I admire you."
I have got out my magnifying glass and am searching Dogster high and low for clues. Wow...someone admires me :D
I cannot wait until tomorrow, its going to be a pawsome day. For one Mummy gets her braces off (YAY) and the second thing is the Jimmy Buffett Concert on WU. I hadn't even heard of Jimmy Buffett until last week being an English Dog and now I am going to a party about him! It's going to be lots of fun.
Well, Better go now

Dear Diary,
Pinch, Punch first day of the month...No Returns...uh, uh!! Well, At last it is the first of August, what a pawsome, busy month is this going to be. In 2 days Mummy gets her braces off and then in 13 days I go on holiday! Woohoo, cannot wait. Today, Mummy spent all morning looking after her sick nephews. I didn't go as I didn't want to catch any germs, but I might have already as I was sick earlier and been a bit lethargic. I hope I'm not ill :( Anyway, I spent the morning with Grandaddy who was putting up something near our garage. I'm not sure what it was but it was made of wood and had lots of gaps in, quite scary really if you were not a tough dog like me! I think I might write my holiday list today, ready for when Mummy has to pack. Let's see I need: -Treats -Clothes -Towel -Suncream -Bed -More Treats -Spending Money -Bowls -Medication for if I get ill -My long lunger lead -Beachball -Toys -Blanket -Car Harness. Hmm, I'm forgetting something. Oh well it will come to me, I still have over a week. Wait, I just thought of something else, I need to get mummy to buy me some Doggles so I'm prepared to look up at the gleaming sun which is going to be out so I can get me a tan! On the other hand though I don't want it too hot, I want a nice cool breeze and sunny skies. The only thing I'm dreading about my holiday is I might not be able to get online and chat to all my pals for a whole 2 weeks! I don't know if I will survive without Dogster. Maybe I can pack the computer in the car just as we set off but I don't think that will work. Have you got any ideas diary??

Dear Diary,
I just want to say a special thankyou to my pal Sassy Girl as her dad did me a fabulous drawing. It's on my page if you want to see it, I like It very much. Don't you think It makes me look extremely handsome?
I'm a bit apprehensive today; Grandaddy is taking Mummy, Nanny and I on a surprise trip tomorrow. I don't know where we will be going, all I know is I hope there is Water as the temperature is still high here. I think I better rest up today and not do anything, knowing Grandaddy tomorrow will be extremely busy except for the car ride. I love car rides. I motion rocks me to sleep as If I was a little baby. It's only about two weeks now until I go on my Summer Holiday...YAP-EE!! I cannot wait, I will get to explore and experience so many things such as the beach!
Ut-oh, I better go now. Mummy is calling me over....she's standing over a pile of ripped paper. She looks angry. Does'nt she like my masterpiece??

Dear Diary,
Last night was a nightmare. Across the road a neighbour was having a big party which was not a problem, except for the anti-social behaivour and the loud pumping music. I kept barking at them when the big crowds of them come past my fence warning them, but they kept up their bad behaivour. I could smell horrible scents in the air and eventually at 12.20 Grandaddy called the police. They didn't arrive until about 4 or 5am when the party was still going! I was so exhausted all I wanted to do was sleep but, being a loyal dog I stayed up, ready to protect my family. Finally at 7am we all gave in and went to bed. I could not sleep as the policeman had a big german shepherd outside and no strange dog is coming near my house without my approval!
Today I am an exhausted pup.

Dear Diary,
Today I have been lounging around, It's too hot to do anything even if you are a young playful pup! As it is so hot my walk has to be delayed until after sunset-once it is cooler. I love going for walks, my ears prick up at the thought. Whilst I have been snoozing, Mummy has been busy trying to conquer animations. She wants to make some for me and is struggling a little bit, well saying that she has made two!
I really want to upload them as pictures but I cannot change the file size. It can only be 50kb and they are both 200kb :( I have got one on my page fro a html code and also one that was just the right size but to see them both go Here.
My Mummy got her SATs results the other day, and she got 7's! Yap-ee, that's just what she wanted. On the paper I read 'High Achieving, above average'
Well better go now, Nanny is back from work!

Dear Diary,
Wow-wee...Its 100 degrees here. The hottest day on record for July in the UK since 1911 I think! It's way too hot for poor little me in my fur coat, Mummy is making sure I stay inside and she's even putting Ice cubes in my water. I didn't like it at first as they made a crackling sound but now I love to crunch them.
Whenever I need to go outside Mummy is applying a little bit of suncream on me..I don't know why, does she not realise I'm too white and need to get a tan! This morning Mummy went raspberry picking, I wasn't allowed to go as I would cause mischief (ME??) Anyways she and Nanny picked lots of juicy berries to have with some icecream later, I can't wait to have my yummy dish of icecream! That's one of the best things about summer..ICECREAM! I'm drooling at the thought.

Dear Diary,
I have had a great time this last few days with the WU Gang. We have been on vacation you see. We started off in Mexico then on our way to paris our plane crashed in the sea. Luckily, noone was hurt and after testing some of our survival skills we finally arrived in Paris this morning!
Us Westies have been having a blast and I have not been missing home at all, well except for when I was ill from drinking all the tequila. But Billy and the others took care of me warning not to drink again as I am too young! You can see all our holiday snaps HERE!Well I'm off now to write Mummy a postcard to tell her I'm well and as mischivious as ever. I wonder what I would be doing if I ws at home...hmm...probally the usual westie stuff like digging up flowers and yapping 'til dawn. I better get home soon as it's Mummy's last day at school tomorrow, which means the start of the Summer Hols and I don't want to miss that! Maybe I can live two lives, One in England and One on Holiday.

Dear Diary,
Last night I had a sleepless night and so did Nanny. We both got out of bed and was in the living room thinking through life and how horrible it can be. I slept all morning due to my sleeplessness even though Mummy was at home. She would have been at school but she didn't feel strong enough to face everyone after the problems she has been experiencing. Guess what....I got a present today, well actually two!! Nanny has brought me a stripey t-shirt and a hawaiian shirt for my summer holiday in a few weeks. :D They both make me look very smart and proper, disguising my true self! Apparently they were half price or something and Nanny knew Mummy would love dressing me up in them and therefore could not resist them. I better go now, Grandaddy will be home soon all tired from a hard day but still willing to go hyper with me. hehe.

Dear Diary,
Mummy is very proud of me as I passed my Bronze and Silver Tests last night. I flew through them doing everything exactly right! I was in the right mood to do it all and I'm confident I would have passed my gold too, but the sun set and the night came upon us. This meant I have to do my Gold test in a couple of weeks...I really wished I could have done it last night but on the bright side I have got lots of time to practise enabling me to do it almost perfect! Mummy came home from school early today which was good for me but on the other hand, not good for her. She is being bullied you see and it's by her so called 'friends'. She has got school involved and says I'm the best friend there is! I'm so glad I'm here for her, we love each other so much, as if we were soul mates!

Dear Diary,
Sorry for the shock this entry might bring...Today I have been very naughty...well Mummy says I have been, I took her homework outside with me and ripped it up! But it was only because she had been concentrating on it for ages and I wanted her attention. Today my little 'but you love me' sweet face didn't work as well as usual, Mummy really told me off. Perhaps I should think twice before doing it again but, on the other hand it was lots of fun shredding it into little pieces! It looked like someone had sprinkled confetti all over my garden. I can't wait until Mummy's summer holidays...It's going to be sooo fun, just me and my family going on numerous trips! Everywhere possible where they go, I will follow. No more work for mummy, no school, nothing at all to worry about..It will all be about me, I can assure you I will make sure of that. hehe
Suppose I better go now, Mummy and Me have only got this Weekend to practise for my tests on Monday. I think I better be a good boy until then, don't you?

Dear Diary,
Today the whole nation of England is in morning...everyone except me and all the other playful pups in the world! Sure I'm dissapointed they are out after buying my little england cap and watching all the games but we have another go in 2010! I will be nearly 5 then and be a lot more interested, understanding more. Poor Beckham has quit as England captain which has also made England even more dissapointed! I think I might go out with Mummy and do some serious cheering up of people...Nobody can resist a smile when they see little me! These little kids outside are really annoying me and my family, bashing their ball continously against my fence and swearing their little heads off! The foam ball keeps coming over into my back yard too which is not good for me as the foam could irritate my tummy if swallowed! Grandad suggested they go somewhere else to stop my barking but that didn't work so I made sure I chewed the ball well when it came over once more! They are not pleased that there are lots of holes and teeth marks in their ball! What a shame..maybe it will teach them to play somewhere else!
Tomorrow I have my last ever training lesson, then the week after is my final assessment...I think I will pass so I'm not fretting!

Good news, I was not turned into a girl yesterday by Mummy and Nanny!! My hiding plan didn't quite work as I had hoped as they found me straight away but I had no reason to hide anyway because they had no plans to put makeup on me, just file my nails, brush my teeth, groom my fur and all the usual pampering which I enjoy! I know what all you macho dogs are thinking...that's prissy girlish stuff but I ensure you I just like to look my best for the girls!! Grandaddy should be home later, back from his teaching course. He has been gone over 24 hours and I can't wait for his return! Wait..yes I can as I have training class before Grandaddy gets back. Got to start getting all hyper ready for my training class...It's nearly my last lesson, but then I might do flyball or agility! I love going training and meeting up with all my pals and getting loads of treats..God, I'm drooling at the thought of all the yummy treats I will be receiving!!

Dear Diary,
Today is the Sunday the 4th June and haven't been able to write in here since I have had an eventful few days. On wednesday i went to the grooming parlour...Mummy left me there and when she returned I had been stripped of my fur! :( I loved my fur and Mummy laughed at me because she thought it was too short too! She's getting used to it now but I want my fur back NOW!! I hate being naked!!
On thursday i went all the way to wales to see Mummy's Nan and Grandad and my Great Uncle Buster. Me and Buster went on a few walks together and saw a pony with it's new baby....so cute!!!
Yesterday Mummy and Nanny took me to Willen with Mummy's Sister Claire and the boys (Claire's children.) We had lots of fun around the lake and had a picnic under a tree!! Mummy made me a daisy chain to put around my neck making me look very pretty!!.....I think i need to remind her i'm a boy!!!
Today is a very sad day because Mummy's holidays from school are up :( Tomorrow Mummy will be back at school studying hard when she should be playing with me!! I have gotta make sure Mummy plays with me lots this morning before she starts to catch up on the homework she hasn't even glanced at over the week!!
Well got to go now....i gotta go PLAY...PLAY....PLAY!!!

Dear Diary,
Yesterday Mummy abandoned me to go on a trip with Mummy! :( What has Cadburyland got that I havn't, eh? I spent the day with my Grandaddy who took me to see my GreatGrandma in Northampton, she seems to be scared of little me!?! Probally because she's old! Anyways Grandad took me with him all day and he said I was ever such a good boy and he was going to tell Mummy when she got back home. I thought Mummy and Nanny were never going to return, but at 7.22 Grandaddy took me to a new place...the train station, and guess who we saw there... Mummy and Nanny!! I hurried over and they gave me big hugs! Boy, had I missed them only though it had only been a day!
Today Mummy went shopping, she brought lots for herself and was going to get me a hawaiian shirt but she didn't have enough money! :(
Well go to go now because I'm going on a nice long walk! yap-ee!

Dear diary,
I didn't get to sleep until late last night as Mummy and Grandad were out DJ'ing but that didn't stop me waking up Mummy at 6am this morning! I jumped all over her and her bed until she finally got up! She's lazy and needs forcing you see.
Im writing in here because i'm shut inside...Nanny's cutting the lawn with that dreadful thing...THE LAWNMOWER! I still remember the first time I saw It. It was only a few months back and I was really scared, My family all comforted me and said it wouldn't hurt me but I'm still scared! Poor little me! *everyone say Awww*
I wonder whats for dinner today...I hope it's Salmon...that's one of my favourites~ It's terrier-ific!! :)
Mummy and Me took some photo's earlier of me all dressed up! I hope they come out well as I want to put some on here for all my admirers! hehe
Got to go...can't spend all day barking out on Dogster!

Woof and Hi again,
This is my 2nd diary entry. I have only been on here a few days and have been overwhelmed how friendly and cute all you doggies out there are! I think i've spotted some lucky girls out there I would like to get to know a bit better! hehe
Today was very boring as Nanny was out all day and Mummy at school so I was all by myself at home....hummph :(
But good news Mummy's got a week off on holiday and i'm going to make sure she spends all her time with me...No homework for her just play, play, play with me-her little angel! O:)
I've got most of next week all booked up already, here are some of my plans:
1. Take Mummy on a long, long walk every day!
2. Make sure Mummy grooms me and brushes my teeth each day!
3. Go to Wales and see my Great Uncle Buster (hes scary and a lot bigger than me)
4. Go to a grooming parlour and get a trim..all ready for the blazing hot sun that going to show it's face soon *fingers crossed*
5. Make sure Mummy trains me so I can definately pass my tests in a few weeks!
6. Get Mummy to take loads of cute pictures of adorable me to go on here!
7. Dig up Nanny's garden some more as she loves me doing it so much! :)
Well as you can see I'm a very busy Westie...leading an extremely hard life lounging around all day!!

Hiya fellow pups.
Today I spent the day with Nanny as Mummy was at school! poor her! I took her to school this morning though which made her smile-making me very happy!
When Mummy got home she took me to the field and we practised my heelwork, stays and emergency down. I went with Nanny in the car to collect mummy from school and met Sam W for the first time!! Once home, Mummy checked her emails and saw that my cousins in Scotland (Snoz & Scamp) had profiles-that's why i decided to create one!
Anyways Im going to go dig up the garden and i'll probs bring Nanny in one of her beloved flowers! hehe
