Unfortunately, this time of year in Houston is not good for my skin. I suffer from severe skin allergies. Even though I am on frontline plus and must be bathed with ‘special’ shampoo, to maintain my skin. On occasion, I will get a flare-up and need medical attention.
I told my parents to take me to the vet soon because I was losing sleep at night from scratching and it was getting very uncomfortable to lounge around the house during the day.
Well, they finally took me to the vet and I feel a whole lot better. They prescribed me an antibiotic, a strong antihistamine, and some awesome menthol shampoo, which feels really good on my skin, as if I left from a doggie day Spa.
I go back for a check up in 2 weeks. If all is good the next step is a deep teeth cleaning. Oh, what fun! NOT!
