Going Home...

As of 9:10 pm tonight I was layed to rest. I out lived most my breed and had a happy life. Before I left I was givin all the food and treats I wanted to my hearts content. Yum Yum so good. I was a very old dog who started to suffer. Everyday I battled arthritis. I've had 2 surgeries on my ears and had to have medicine in my ears all the time. I had cateracts in my eyes and can barely see and my hearing wasn't all there either. And that's not too mention my teeth...too bad they didn't have doggie dentures cause a nice big fat juicy steak would have been real nice. But now I can have all the steak in the world cause my teeth are healthy and perfect. The last few days grandpa had to carry me into the house cause I could barely walk. Tonight I was found sitting in my pee cause it hurt too much too get up. That was when grandpa called my daddy and the choice had to be made. I am no longer in pain and will never suffer again. I am with the families loved ones who had passed on through the years and I am LOVED. I will be greatly missed and tons of tears will be shed... but I am HOME to my final resting place. Now I can run free and chase the butterflies and sniff everything around me. So please don't feel bad for I am Happy and at peace.
