Arrival Story:
I was walking up to the store, and some kids were up there throwing sticks and rocks at her, said that she was a neighborhood pest, well she is my dog now and leave her alone or I will tell your moms how horrible you all are, they took off, I named her Lady on the spot and told her if she waited right here til I got out of the store she could go home with me, well I got dog food while I was in there , just knew she'd wait, so she walked home with me, I fed her and gave her a bath she was really filtly, I figured she had been out there for awhile, but I didnt care, I checked all the local shelters and put out ads to make sure she wasnt just lost, Took her to the vet for shots and a full check up, except for the tumor they found under her hind legs she was in good shape, she was a very happy baby. I had the tumor removed and she did ok for awhile , it was cancer , then 2 tumors grew where the first was removed and the vet said they would keep comming back, I n her last year she stayed on pain medication, I just couldnt let her go, then finally one day she just couldnt stand up, or walk, so I took her and sent her over the rainbow bridge to freedom. I proably shouldnt have waited so long, but I just couldnt let her go, she was the only family I had at the time.
