Arrival Story: I was looking for a breed that would be small, and I'v always loved Doxies but they would have been to big. So I learned that there was mini doxies and went in search for a breeder. I found one convinently located in Hammer. After seeing his pic online I fell in love with him and had to have him. I got him a week later and love him so much!!!
Bio: I got Moose to be my service dog. He was very smart, and was perfect in temperment. He was progressing very well in his training and was public access ready but he got hurt. He fell off our couch and hurt his back, and his head. He was never the same after that.
July 28th 2009, was a very sad day. 1 month shy of a 2 years, he had to be put down. He had an auto imunne diease that took him over. He was severly underweight and could barley walk. Most importantly he didn't enjpy human attention anymore. My poor sweet Moose. He was my baby, and I will miss him so much.

I am crying so hard right now. I miss you so much, I want to hold you in my arms, I want you to be here so you can help me through this. I keep looking at your pictures and movies. As if watching long enough will bring you back. The fact of the matter is I don't care about life without you anymore. You were my life, my world revolved around you, and trying to make you better. What is worse is that Newton reminds me so much of you but I know he isn't you. I just can't stand it anymore. Drawing only helps so much, reading only helps so much, only you being here could help, but you aren't and you can't come back. Barkley is in my lap right now, comforting me, but you were better at this job. You were perfect for me. You eyes, your face, your paws. I love you so much, but it can't bring you back.
My cousin wrote a song, about holding on to what you have, and I feel I didn't hold on to you long enough. I gave up too fast. I didn't spend enough time with you, I didn't take enough pictures, I didn't record enough movies. I don't have enough to remember you by. I want to clone you so I could just have you over and over again and never let you go.
