Arrival Story:
My name is Electra. I am named after the "Ultra Classic Electra Glide" Harley Davidson. My sisters name is Harley. I was born on July 6, 2001 Mommy & Daddy had Brandy & Harley before me. Brandy was really old & Harley was a brand new puppy. Brandy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Aug 27 2001. Harley was very lonely. Mommy & Daddy wanted her to have a sister.... so her I came. Mommy & Daddy drove truck from coast to coast. Brandy & Harley always went with them. I got to go in the big truck right away. Harley & I loved each other right away. She let me play with her toys. I was naughty though....I'd chew them up on her. Mom wouldn't let me have Harley's favourite toys because I'd wreck 'em. I love living with Harley, Mommy & Daddy. We have kitties too! I love them also. Our Daddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. That made us all really really sad. I still run to the window when I hear a big truck go by the house. I watch & watch hoping Daddy will be coming home. He doesn't though. I see Mommy watching me watch. That makes her cry too! I go over & cuddle up with her. I also know when Mommy is extra sad. Sometimes when I am out playing it's like Daddy is there playing with me. I run & chase him...Mommy swears me & Daddy are playing together. We had a special way of chasing eachother. Then I run over to Mommy & tap her bottom. That's her sign that Daddy was playing with me. She kind of smile cries...picks me up & cuddles me.

I thought Mommy was smart....but

I thought Mommy was smart....but

We were laying in bed this morning.
I had my back curled up to Mommy's feet.
She was rubbing my back....oh it felt so good.

We both just layed there doing that for the longest time.

Then Mommy said...."Harley, you are so smart to lay here & get
your back rubbed"

Hello Mommy,...it's me Electra.

Mommy looked down & started to laugh that it was me there
for a change instead of Harley.
I normally don't lay by her feet....
I curl up by her legs.

Now I know why Harley lays there.
That felt good,


We are all sad today

We are saying good bye to our big truck.
All of us pups spent our whole lives in it with Mommy & Daddy.
After Daddy died, Mommy couldn't drive anymore.

Last night the men were here looking at the truck. I knew something was going on. I always know when something is going on that's about Daddy or the truck.
Since Daddy died, I have run to the window all the time when I hear a big truck. It's never been him though.

Today I heard OUR truck start up. I was so excited. I wouldn't settle down.
Mommy had to take me out to show me it wasn't Daddy out there.
It was another man.
Mommy told me things that I don't really understand. All I know is Mommy was crying.
I am going to spend the day cuddled with Mommy. I make her feel better when I curl up to her tummy.
Tomorrow will be harder when that man comes back & drives it away.
Harley & I will help kiss Mommy's tears away.
Mommy will hold us & make us feel ok too.

Can you say a little prayer of comfort for our Mommy, please.
