Day in the life of a Showgirl! Lola!

The Dog Outside

Oh my gosh! There is a dog that looks just like me right outside on the patio! I'm trying to get to it, but its copying me and that's just a pain in my butt! I keep running away from it so it'll chase me but it never follows. I'll peek around corners in order to sneek attack it, but it keeps standing by the door waiting for me to come play with it. I don't want to play with it anymore, I think I'll chew on my bone for a little while before a walk and bed time.

Mom has the day off tomorrow so hopefully it'll be nice so we can go outside and play. I'm glad I get a lot of attention tomm, today was really boring. Dad came home for a while but had to leave for work again.

Bath time! Maaannn...

Oh man you guys I was right! It was bath time...After our long walk she lured me into the bathroom...well okay I willingly followed her...but anyway! I'm not fond of that big white slippery thing and I was curious about the water at first but after all these time in that stupid thing...I'm done wondering about the water! I offically don't like it!
I liked the rub down with the bright fluffy towel and the brushing after I'm not wet anymore.
I'm worn out! I'm going to curl up on the couch and monopolize all the blankets! Ha!

Mom's day off! Jan 4th, 2007

Yesterday mom had to go to work and I had to spend most of my time by myself, I was going to keep chewing on the corner of the wall that I had started on, but mom blocked it. So I just chewed on my toys, but! Luckily mom gave me a yummy bone so I spent a good amount of time trying to eat through that.
Hopefully today will be better than yesterday though, because I had to go to the place were mom works with all the other dogs in cages. They took me to that green room again where I got poked and prodded last time. The lady with the white coat came in again and I got poked twice again! One time in my shoulder and the other time on my hind leg. Mom said it would be the last poking for a year...but she said something about a spaying in a couple months...whatever that means...? Oh well!

Anyway, today mom has off so we're going to spend the day together! Lots of walks and playing with my toys. It's really nice outside so maybe we'll go for a long walk, I love it when we go on those! Oh man! She just called me...I think I heard something about a possible bath later. =(
