My shelter pal, Holly, and I love our new fenced yard. Plenty of room for two boxer mixes to run and play! Now where did I leave that tennis ball?

Arrival Story:
NOTE: 5/07: Bailey's been adopted by friends of ours. She's a hugely active dog, and we felt she needed kids to run with and lots of open fields to enjoy. That's exactly what she has now! She's happy and healthy and having fun in her new home! Bailey is home today, 12/15/06! Surprise! 'He' is a 'she'! The vet discovered during neutering that Bailey had been misidentified at the shelter. So I have two girls. We're giving her July 4 as her birthday since we don't know the real one. She seems a patriotic pup. I found Bailey & Holly, another boxer mix, on the website of a shelter in a neighboring county. They were both scheduled to be 'put down' the next day. I rode down the following morning and met both dogs. The moment she met me, Bailey jumped into my lap and smothered me with kisses. What a sweetie! When I brought Bailey and Holly home from the shelter five days before Christmas and four days after their scheduled 'last day'. Bailey has settled right into her new home, enjoying her yard and new toys. I think she's very happy to be in her forever home, along with her shelter pal, Holly.

Bio:
Bailey is named for George Bailey in the movie 'It's a Wonderful Life'. The shelter thought she was a boy when I first adopted her. We decided the name still fit, however, as she was adopted the week before Christmas, just in time to save her life. For Bailey, it will truly be a wonderful life.
