Pet-Peeves: Being left alone,people not petting me,taking a bath,not getting treats ,stray kittys that are mean to my kittys(im very protective of them!!),getting my teeth brushed,getting my nails clipped, going potty in the rain, the vet, and dogs I dont know
Favorite Toy: Stuffed lion, stuffed monkey(R.I.P i miss you),tennis balls,my kong,any kind of stuffed animals squeaky or not and i love the kittys they are like self throw stuffed animals( i dont hurt them though i love them!!) and my new ball that dispences treats
Favorite Food: Food! wheres the food! i need food 'specially chocolate(read my diary),ice cubes,cat food,Alpo but i love any kind of food! UPDATE 5/18/07: Mommy wa giving me raw food cuz of the recalls but now I have this dry food mixed with wet food.
Favorite Walk: anywhere, mostly the park cuz sometimes i get to go off leash!! And i love to go to the beach cuz i get to chase the seagulls and climb the rocks!! YAY!!! i love climbing things!!! Oh Ya and Petsmart(that is a walk right?)
Best Tricks: sit,down,crawl,play dead,shake,go to bed,speak,dance,sing,up,kisses touch th ball,spin,spin while sitting,high 5, over and wave
Arrival Story: My owners daughter was gunna get a labrador retriver or a golden retriever but the her mommys boss had to get rid of her 2 male bassets and her female.and they took me! i love my new home but miss my brothers(even though i didnt like em!!!)i came to my forever home on march 24th 2006 on a saturday!!!(i love saturdays cuz it a weekend)
Bio: Hi my name is Matilda I am a female Basset Hound.Some people think Basset Hounds are very lazy,well they are wrong cuz im not lazy i am actually very hyper and playful. Any ways more about me! I have a best friend you might be suprised to find out that she is a cat! yep you heard right a cat!! I love her!!! she is a black and white and very cute kitty, and we sleep together, eat together and everything. I love to dance! Mostly to slow songs. Heidi(my 15 year old owner) didnt even have to teach me everytime I hear a song I go over to her and jump up on her(if she is standing) and a bury my head and we dance! Bol

Yep today is my my 5th birthday! Heidi has been missing me A LOT! The sad thing is my new owners don't even know that today is my birthday :( Heidi wishes she was here to celebrate it with me!
I also want to thank everyone for the gifts. It means alot
ok so today while my mom was at work she went out on a break and saw a basset hound in a car and she was like OMG that looks EXACTLY like Matilda so she got closer and she thinks it was her!! She tried to wait for the person to see where she got her but she had to go back to work..if it was Matilda, I hope we see that person again, I miss Matilda so much. It has been a little over a year since we got rid of her and it was the WORST mistake of my whole LIFE. I mean I love Lizzie with my whole heart but no one can replace Matilda we had a special bond that I dont have with Lizzie
Well ever since I bit Lizzie, I have been getting agressive towards the kitties and even my human sis Heidi so mom decided to put an ad in the paper fur me and so far 12 people called :O and there was this one guy named Walter and he lives on an acre of land and it is all fenced in and even has some kids fur me to play with, anyways, he was supposed to meet me saturday but he wanted to meet me today which made Heidi very mad, cuz she found out like 30 minutes before I was supposed to go to him that I was going today! So she wasnt able to spend my last moments at my house with me :'(. She is really sad now cuz where my crate was in her room, you can still see the prints of it on the carpet and my pictures are still all over the house. But the good thing is that he literally lives down the street from Heidi's grandmas house, so he said that anytime they go to her grandmas house they can visit me! When we were in the car Heidi was crying alot and I knew something was wrong so I started crying ALOT. I have been to my new home fur about 2 hours now. Hopefully I am having fun and im not missing Heidi and mom to much. Well I better go, bye
