Arrival Story:
Some young girls came into the Petsmart my friend was doing adoptions for a rescue group was at. They told her they found Kaluha (at 8 weeks old) running after them while they were roller blading down the road where they live. There story then changed and changed and it became obvious they had stolen the dog from someone's yard. My friend told them that she was going to call the cops on them so they ran from the store. We brought Kaluha to the shelter and told animal control we had her if her owners ever came looking for her. A week later animal control called and said they wanted the dog back to they could adopt her out. By that time my friend had fallen in love with her and didn't want her to go to the local pound to be adopted out un-spayed and unvaccinated. So, I made up a story I had lost her and called the pound and said she was mine. Because Kaluha already knew me when my friend brought her back to the pound to be "re-united with her lost owner" she went right to me! I took her home that night because my friend's husband said "no more dogs!"...and fell hard. Basically...I stole her from my friend after she'd been stolen from her original home! But, she loves me and her brothers and wouldn't be better off anywhere else!

Bio:
This poor little girly has some really bad allergies...she's allergic to just about everything- including her own cat-brothers. She always looks like she is crying because of this but with meds she is surviving the spring time just fine.
