While the hustle and bustle of the holidays can be a little disorienting for dogs who love their routines, the smarter canines have added the holidays to their schedules, knowing full well that the sparkling lights, garlands, and colder weather herald feasts of tables laden with glorious, delicious, mouth-watering people food.

These dogs in this video are so excited for the coming scraps of turkey, potatoes, and gravy that they've suddenly sprouted vocal chords, learned how to read music, and acquired the most grand, angelic voices. And you thought your dog being able to shake for a treat was cool! These dogs love people food so much they will sing for it!

What is it about forbidden people food that makes it so darn desirable to dogs? It's not like dogs have the same tasting capabilities as we humans do. They can't appreciate the nuance of complex flavor, the flourish of immaculate presentation, the skill that goes into a fine piece of cooking. You could be eating cardboard with a knife and fork and a dog will probably want it, just because it looks like people food.

So hark! The herald doggies sing! Glory to the delicious people food feast!
