"Thriller -- With Dogs" Parodies Michael Jackson Video

It's close to midnight, and something canine lurks in the park. It's another video from the Pet Collective.

Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is timeless -- and so it will always be open to parody.

Here, employing sorcery (read: computer graphics), a dog reenacts a scene that might look familiar to you. The "thrill" starts when a dog runs from his human's overenthusiastic participation in Halloween, which entails stuffing the pooch into a costume. Fleeing the house, the dog finds himself in a haunted graveyard, where ghouls and goblins come to life and dance around to the iconic "Thriller" tune.

They don't quite have Jackson's moves, but they do have his flair for entertainment, and the dogs are more likely to make you scream with giddy excitement than fear.

At this point, the Pet Collective has consistently wowed us with its pet parodies (we're partial to "Corgi, Maybe" and "Digging in the Deep"), and its "Thriller" video is no less amusing. We're sure the pups starring in the videos are treated to delicious snacks throughout filming, just as we're treated to the delight of watching them. Everybody wins!

We especially love the final shot of the video, which perfectly mimics the original Michael Jackson video.

Did your dog have a "Thriller" moment this Halloween?
