Cookies 'n' Creme (1998-2011)

Yet another correction to one of my posts, this one from Sushine's post with questions about behavior and pack hierarchy

I said in one section of my answer:
"But for every day life, I mainly use negtaive punishment, or take away the dog's chance to be awarded, as correction. If the dog doesn't sit when told, he doesn't get rewarded. If the dog is chewing on a wire or a chair leg, I redirect him to a toy and reward him for chewing on the appropiate items."
I just want to make it clear that I do not actually have any trouble with my dogs chewing on anything they shouldn't. I was only using that as an example, since it is a common problem for many dog owners.
