Worms? Bandit is always scooting his butt on the carpet!
I saw something here on dogster actually! About if my dog is scooting his butt all the time then he has some kind of worms! But the ad doesn't appear anymore! My bandit has his anal sacs expressed once a week! The vet said that his anal sacs being full could be causing it! But again! They are always empty! What else could it be? He is also having some hair loss right on his neck! Check out the pix on his page! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks again Dogster!!

I would have your vet check him out.
What you will want to do is grab a stool sample before going to the vet. (Just scoop up some of his poop in a Ziploc baggie.) They will want to test that for internal parasites. They may also want to draw blood and test that.
The scooting can be caused by painful or inflamed anal glands, like you said, and it can also be caused by internal parasites. Have the vet test.

It also could be the anal gland needs empyied. Dogs normally empty this during bowel movements. But I had an over weight dog who couldn't on his own, so the Vet did it for him. Good Luck!

you should have your vet check him out. He might have impact anal glands. did you say that his anal sacs are expressed once a week? My vet told me that if it's done to often then that means that they will lose the ability to express them by themselves wich is very bad!
